As I've said many times in the past, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), today is our Lord's Day!
It's when we need to worship.
We need to worship in spirit and in truth, just as you've heard me say before.
However, we can also worship Him through music. Just as we'll do, today!
Knowing that Easter is coming, I was thinking about Jesus. And, about how He is our Lamb of God.
For this reason, I'm sharing with you the music of Lamb of God. Here is a link for you to listen to and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFn_f_mSaj0 . The lyrics are below.
Lamb of God
Your only Son, no sin to hide,
but you have sent Him from your side
to walk upon this guilty sod,
and to become the Lamb of God.
Your gift of love they crucified,
they laughed and scorned Him as He died;
the humble King they named a fraud,
and sacrificed the Lamb of God.
O Lamb of God, sweet Lamb of God;
I love the holy Lamb of God.
O wash me in His precious blood.
My Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God.
I was so lost, I should have died,
but You have brought me to Your side
to be led by Your staff and rod,
and to become a lamb of God.
O Lamb of God, sweet Lamb of God;
I love the holy Lamb of God.
O wash me in His precious blood.
'Til I am just a lamb of God.
O wash me in His precious blood.
My Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God.
This music and lyrics are so wonderful, that I even sang it by myself... solo (a capella - without music) at a church service a couple of years ago.
Just as the lyrics say, I love the holy Lamb of God. Yes, Jesus is the Lamb of God.
Like we read, in John 1:29, "The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world."
Our sweet Lamb of God is so wonderful! I truly love Him.
We all need to realize that Jesus is the Lamb of God.
We who trust in/believe upon Him get washed in His Blood and gain salvation. Then, we spend eternity in Heaven with Him.
I will. Will you?
If so, I'll look forward to seeing you, in Heaven, along with Jesus!
Until next time...
