Hopefully, you read Life with Lynnie (LwL), yesterday. If you didn't, I would suggest you do so, today.
Well, if you read LwL yesterday, you'll know that I attended a women's church group meeting where my friend, D worships. And, sang solo... a capella (without music).
Now, I'm going to tell you what else happened that evening.
Once I arrived and spoke with my friend, D... she asked me to participate in a game event.
The game was like Jeopardy. But, it was regarding the Bible.
At first, I thought D was asking me if I'd like to do it, but it turned out that she didn't really want to ask me, but wanted me to do it. So after some conversation, I agreed to do it.
I must admit, it made me nervous.
So nervous, that I actually screwed up a bit, with some of the singing. :'(
It was okay, though. I managed to do everything I needed to do, even if no one else thought I had screwed up.
With group music, D played the piano. And, I led the group in the singing.
Then, we began the Jeopardy-type game.
Yes, there were three (3) of us women who participated. Each of us chose a subject, and value. Then, we all had to answer the question.
At first, we all got all the answers correctly!
Then, for some reason, during a question being asked, I answered incorrectly. Aww... I must admit, I felt sick in my heart.
But then, shortly after, even though I got another question correctly, the other two (2) women didn't. So, this made me feel somewhat better than before. lol
Okay, I won't say how stressful it was, but I will say that we all laughed many times! And, enjoyed playing the game.
After all, even though none of us were perfect, we all had some wisdom and knowledge of the Bible.
Much like we read, in 1 Corinthians 12:8, "For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;"
Yes, for to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit.
This absolutely described each of us who played the Bible Jeopardy game.
Although we all understand and read God's Word, the Bible, it doesn't mean that we are all exactly the same. For, we are not.
Even so, it was a blessing.
Of course, after the game ended, the three (3) of us who played the game, were blessed.
D, gave each of us a gift for participating. Yes, I enjoyed eating the delicious Easter chocolate! Thank you, D!
Do you read God's Word, the Bible?
As you know, I do.
Does it make each of us perfect? Not really.
However, God reveals to us through His Word, everything we need to know.
So, if you aren't reading the Bible daily, I would suggest you do so.
For, if you do... God will bless you.
Until next time...
