Confess...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'm going to discuss what I did, yesterday.

Knowing that yesterday was the first SONday of the month of April, I was happy to go worship.  Hopefully, you did also.

I haven't yet decided on where to worship on a full-time basis.  Even so, I worshipped with a church group, where I had been before.

Where I was seated would have been a comfortable pew, had I not been suffering from the pain and suffering that I am experiencing still.  Yes, it's been over 10 months, now.

Even though I hadn't mentioned anything about my suffering, there was a sister in the Lord, seated behind me, who commented to me.  I didn't explain anything about how I'm suffering, but I did let her know that I truly need prayer for healing.

Will she pray for healing for me?  Hopefully, so.  I must admit, I don't know.  But, God knows.  So, if she prays for me, I know she'll be blessed.

The worship service included something I am sure you know I enjoy.

Communion.

While we were being served, I prayed.  Just as I saw some people doing.

For this, I praise God.

Why?

Well, some people don't realize, but before we participate in communion, we need to be free from sin.  We need to be cleansed.  So, we need to confess our sin.

Just as we read, in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Yes, if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

And, when we've done this before participating in having communion, it means that we have been made clean.

For this, I praise God.

After all, by confessing our sin, we are made acceptable to God.  And, blessed by Him.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
