Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be discussing something else I did last week.
On Friday, April 21st, 2017, my friend D, who had me attend the ladies group meeting where she worships, asked me to attend a meeting at another location.
Knowing that it was an evening where brothers and sisters in the Lord, were going to meet, I decided I would attend.
It was being held at 7:00 p.m., at Northshore Community Church, in Belle River, Ontario, Canada. Here is a link for you to find out about this church group: http://www.northshorechurch.ca/.
Being busy that day, I didn't arrive before 7:00 p.m. I arrived just a few minutes late.
Even so, I was able to take a seat at the table where my friend, D was.
D's husband, G was there. In addition, a couple of friends of theirs... R, and N were there. Plus, a friend of N's who was, D.
It was nice being with everyone, in attendance of the meeting.
However, it was also nice going and enjoying time later, at a coffee shop/restaurant area, where everyone at our table were able to enjoy more time, together.
I must admit, it was a blessing being at that the church meeting.
I was amazed seeing so many people there, including N's friend, D! I hadn't seen him in at least a couple of years. So, it was nice to be there with all these people.
Music was played.
Everyone sang along, when they wanted to.
Then, prayer was done.
Anyone who wanted to quote/read Bible verses did so. Just like I did, a couple of times.
What did I quote/read?
Acts 16:31, "And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." Yes, it's a Bible verse that I mention fairly often, as I'm sure you know, if you read LwL often!
However, I also read Romans 8:28, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
My friend, I need to ask you... do you love God?
If you do, and are called according to His purpose, all things work together for good for you.
I love God. And, I've gained salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.
If not, please... do so today.
Tomorrow, may be too late.
Until next time...
