Today, I thought I'd discuss something here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).
In the past, I've mentioned it. But, not everyone will recall, I'm sure.
Even though this isn't April 15th, I thought I'd share with you some information about what I want to discuss. After all, April 15th this year, is the Saturday of Easter weekend.
In addition, rather than sharing it with you on April 15th, the day of the anniversary of when the RMS Titanic ship sank, I thought it would be good to share this with you on April 10th. You see, April 10th, 1912, was when the Titanic left Britain.
Here's a link for you to read about the Titanic: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RMS_Titanic.
Why am I discussing this, today?
Well, my granny was from Northern Ireland, so even though she was Irish, she was British. And, she was supposed to leave there, and arrive in America. But, she arrived too late to board the ship.
I recall my granny speaking about how she cried while sitting on the dock, because she wasn't able to take the cruise.
Every time I think of this, I feel badly for my granny, for she was so hurt.
However, every time I think of this, I also feel grateful to God!
Thank You, Lord!
Thinking of this, made me think of Ephesians 5:20, "Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;"
Yes, giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ... is so very important.
Not just for things in my life, but also for things in your life. And, my granny's.
After all, if my granny had been on time and had entered the Titanic, chances are her life would have ended, when the ship sank.
However, God provided for her even though she felt sick in her heart. For, her life didn't end. He protected her.
And, she ended up coming into Canada shortly after, met the fellow who became my grandfather. They had children, including my dad.
For this, I'm thankful.
And, always will be.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...
