It's on my heart to tell you, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), what I did, yesterday.
Through the week, I wasn't sure where I would go to worship, on SONday.
However, something happened last Thursday, April 20th, while I spent time with a friend, that made me decide what to do.
You see, last Thursday, a friend of mine and I met at the Red Lobster restaurant. We enjoyed lunch, together.
Mmm... yes, the lobster sandwich I had was absolutely delicious!
Of course, I enjoyed my time with my friend, A. We'll look forward to getting together, again soon.
While we were at Red Lobster, a sister in the Lord was working there that day. L, had worked there a long time, but I hadn't been there for a very long time, and didn't know if she would be there. But, she was.
L spoke with my friend A, and me. She let us know that she would be singing on Sunday, where she worships.
So, I knew that's where I would go to worship.
Yes, I did go and worship, there.
After the worship service was over, I went to speak with L, to compliment her. To let her know how beautiful it was, what she sang.
I also got to speak with another sister in the Lord, who worships where I did for many years. She also let me know that she worshipped there, because L was singing.
Singing.
Many people don't think that music is good. However, as I've said many times in the past, music is also a good way of worshipping.
Thinking of this, made me think of Isaiah 12:5, "Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth."
Amen! We need to sing unto the Lord; for He hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.
This is why L sang.
This is why I sing, whenever I can.
Do you?
Hopefully, so.
For if you do, God will bless you!
Until next time...
