Like I've said in the past, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), today is the day when we need to worship. It's SONday!
Yes, we need to worship God!
Since it's our Lord's Day, and since I usually mention that in addition to worshipping God on a normal basis, I will share with you some music.
Quite often, I've shared hymns. Sometimes, I've shared a chorus. Once in a while, I've shared songs that aren't Christian, but come across to me as referring to God.
However, today will be a bit different, because you'll be able to hear a Facebook (FB) friend of mine, sing!
The singer is my friend, Minister Joe Souza. A while ago, after people enjoyed his music, he went onto YouTube and made some postings.
So today, I'll share with you some music I heard him sing. It's music I've never before heard, but enjoyed.
The name of the song is listed variously, when I googled it, but Joe entitled it, God's Pen. Here is a link for you to listen to and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=phOHyu6i1nc&feature=share . The lyrics are below.
God's Pen
When God dips His pen of love in my heart
And He writes my soul a message He wants me to know
His spirit all divine fills this sinful soul of mine
Hallelujah... when God dips His pen of love in my heart
Well I said I wouldn't tell it to a livin' soul
How He brought salvation when He made me whole
But I found I couldn't hide such love as Jesus did impart
Don't you know...
Because it makes me laugh and then it makes me cry, sets my sinful soul on fire
Hallelujah... When God dips His pen of love in my heart
Sometimes when my way seems dreary, dark and cold
And some misguided fortune keeps me from my goal
I go to Christ in prayer, I can always find Him there
He whispers sweet peace right to my soul
And I said I wouldn't tell it to a livin' soul
How He brought salvation when He made me whole
But I found I couldn't hide such love as Jesus did impart
Don't you know...
Because it makes me laugh and then it makes me cry, sets my sinful soul on fire
Hallelujah... When God dips His pen of love in my heart
He walked every step of Calvary's rugged way
And He gave His life completely to bring a better day
My soul was lost in sin but in love He took me in
His blood washed all my sins away
And I said I wouldn't tell it to a livin' soul
How He brought salvation when He made me whole
But I found I couldn't hide such love as Jesus did impart
Don't you know...
Cause it makes me laugh and then it makes me cry, sets my sinful soul on fire
Hallelujah... when God dips His pen of love in my heart
Well I said I wouldn't tell it to a livin' soul
How He brought salvation when He made me whole
But I found I couldn't hide such love as Jesus did impart
Hey, don't you know...
Because it makes me laugh and then it makes me cry, sets my sinful soul on fire
Hallelujah... When God dips His pen of love in my heart
Yes when God dips His pen of love in my heart
I must admit, I truly adored this music.
Why?
Because the lyrics truly told us about God's love for us.
Thinking of this, made me think of Jeremiah 31:3, "The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee."
Hallelujah!
He has everlasting love for us! And, therefore with His loving kindness, He drew us to Him!
My friend, if you haven't yet come to Christ, to gain salvation, please... do so today.
Tomorrow, may be too late.
Until next time...

Evil? Good!
What am I doing today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL)? I'm doing what I quite often do on a Saturday.
I'll be letting you know about movies!
Here are some movies I've recently watched:
* Hatari, starring John Wayne, Elsa Martinelli and other actors. If you'd like to find out about this American action/adventure romantic drama film, click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hatari! To me, this was a very different type of movie I've ever seen John Wayne in, but enjoyed it.
* El Dorado, starring John Wayne, James Caan and other actors. Want to find out about this American western film? If so, please click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/El_Dorado_(1966_film). This movie was enjoyable, and the music was lovely.
* Donovan's Reef, starring John Wayne, Elizabeth Allen, Lee Marvin and other actors. Click on this link, if you'd like to find out about this American Technicolor film: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donovan%27s_Reef. I must admit, I truly enjoy this movie; especially the ending.
* The Sons of Katie Elder, starring John Wayne, Dean Martin and other actors. Click on this link, if you'd like to find out about this Technicolor Western Panavision film: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sons_of_Katie_Elder. Even though much of this movie was sad, I truly enjoyed it.
* Angel and The Badman, starring John Wayne, Gail Russell and other actors. Want to click on a link, to find out about this American Western film? If so, here is the link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angel_and_the_Badman. I must admit, I enjoyed this movie.
As you can see, each of these films had John Wayne as an actor. As I've said, I enjoyed each of the films. After all, I've always thought John Wayne was a great actor!
Some of these movies I've seen before. However, some I hadn't seen before, and enjoyed them.
Even though there was evilness done in various parts of most of these movies, the endings always seemed good. At least, to me.
It made me think of what God's Word, the Bible tells us.
Thinking of this, reminded me of Romans 12:21, "Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good."
Evilness tends to be rather common. Not just in the past, like when most of those movies were made. But, also today.
However, to change what happens, we all need to overcome evil with good.
I try to do it. Always.
Do you?
If you do, you will be doing what God wants us all to do.
And, you'll be blessed.
Hallelujah!
Until next time...

Please Attend... WDOM!
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be letting you know about something that is happening, today.
It's something that I actually wrote about previously, here on LwL. The link I wrote and posted here on LwL was entitled, Injured Workers... Bill Passed! If you don't recall, or if you hadn't read it, you may want to click on this link, to read it: http://www.lifewithlynnie.com/2017/04/injured-workers-bill-passed.html.
If you recall or clicked on the link and read that LwL entry, you'll know that it discussed April 28th, becoming a legal... Workers Day of Mourning (WDOM).
With today being the Workers Day of Mourning, I decided I would share with you, information about it.
Hopefully, this pic is large enough for you to read.
In case it's not easy enough for you to read, I'll let you know that with April 28th being the Workers Day of Mourning, people will gather at 5:00 p.m. at St. Augustine's Church, and will proceed/walk to Coventry Gardens (Riverside Dr. & Pillette Ave., Windsor, Ontario, Canada) at 6:00 p.m. and will arrive at the Injured Workers Monument, where injured workers who died, will be remembered.
If you are able to attend, please do so.
People who attend will be people who are either family members and friends of those who died while working, or who are in support of them. Others, may be in support of those who were in danger, and became injured workers.
Of course, our Lord, Jesus Christ, is truthfully in support of anyone who has suffered and become injured workers, for many have become oppressed.
Much like we read, in Psalm 9:9, "The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble."
I praise our Lord, that He is refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Hallelujah!
Please realize I am not saying that each and every injured worker has become a saved child of God.
However, I realize that many people who become oppressed, and suffer greatly, turn to Him.
For this, I am thankful.
And, always will be, for He is always there for us.
He is for me.
Is our Lord, there for you?
If not, trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, and you shall gain salvation (Acts 16:31), and will become a child of God.
Then, He'll always be there for you.
Just as He is for me.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...

Amazing!
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be discussing something else I did last week.
On Friday, April 21st, 2017, my friend D, who had me attend the ladies group meeting where she worships, asked me to attend a meeting at another location.
Knowing that it was an evening where brothers and sisters in the Lord, were going to meet, I decided I would attend.
It was being held at 7:00 p.m., at Northshore Community Church, in Belle River, Ontario, Canada. Here is a link for you to find out about this church group: http://www.northshorechurch.ca/.
Being busy that day, I didn't arrive before 7:00 p.m. I arrived just a few minutes late.
Even so, I was able to take a seat at the table where my friend, D was.
D's husband, G was there. In addition, a couple of friends of theirs... R, and N were there. Plus, a friend of N's who was, D.
Wow!
It was nice being with everyone, in attendance of the meeting.
However, it was also nice going and enjoying time later, at a coffee shop/restaurant area, where everyone at our table were able to enjoy more time, together.
I must admit, it was a blessing being at that the church meeting.
I was amazed seeing so many people there, including N's friend, D! I hadn't seen him in at least a couple of years. So, it was nice to be there with all these people.
Music was played.
Everyone sang along, when they wanted to.
Then, prayer was done.
Anyone who wanted to quote/read Bible verses did so. Just like I did, a couple of times.
What did I quote/read?
Acts 16:31, "And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." Yes, it's a Bible verse that I mention fairly often, as I'm sure you know, if you read LwL often!
However, I also read Romans 8:28, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
My friend, I need to ask you... do you love God?
If you do, and are called according to His purpose, all things work together for good for you.
I love God. And, I've gained salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Have you?
If not, please... do so today.
Tomorrow, may be too late.

Fun... Stress!
Hopefully, you read Life with Lynnie (LwL), yesterday. If you didn't, I would suggest you do so, today.
Why?
Well, if you read LwL yesterday, you'll know that I attended a women's church group meeting where my friend, D worships. And, sang solo... a capella (without music).
Now, I'm going to tell you what else happened that evening.
Once I arrived and spoke with my friend, D... she asked me to participate in a game event.
The game was like Jeopardy. But, it was regarding the Bible.
At first, I thought D was asking me if I'd like to do it, but it turned out that she didn't really want to ask me, but wanted me to do it. So after some conversation, I agreed to do it.
I must admit, it made me nervous.
So nervous, that I actually screwed up a bit, with some of the singing. :'(
Sigh...
It was okay, though. I managed to do everything I needed to do, even if no one else thought I had screwed up.
With group music, D played the piano. And, I led the group in the singing.
Then, we began the Jeopardy-type game.
Yes, there were three (3) of us women who participated. Each of us chose a subject, and value. Then, we all had to answer the question.
At first, we all got all the answers correctly!
Then, for some reason, during a question being asked, I answered incorrectly. Aww... I must admit, I felt sick in my heart.
But then, shortly after, even though I got another question correctly, the other two (2) women didn't. So, this made me feel somewhat better than before. lol
Okay, I won't say how stressful it was, but I will say that we all laughed many times! And, enjoyed playing the game.
After all, even though none of us were perfect, we all had some wisdom and knowledge of the Bible.
Much like we read, in 1 Corinthians 12:8, "For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;"
Yes, for to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit.
This absolutely described each of us who played the Bible Jeopardy game.
Although we all understand and read God's Word, the Bible, it doesn't mean that we are all exactly the same. For, we are not.
Even so, it was a blessing.
Of course, after the game ended, the three (3) of us who played the game, were blessed.
D, gave each of us a gift for participating. Yes, I enjoyed eating the delicious Easter chocolate! Thank you, D!
Do you read God's Word, the Bible?
As you know, I do.
Does it make each of us perfect? Not really.
However, God reveals to us through His Word, everything we need to know.
So, if you aren't reading the Bible daily, I would suggest you do so.
For, if you do... God will bless you.
Until next time...

Sing!
If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday, you'll know that I addressed the issue of singing.
I'll be doing that again, today!
Why?
Well, if you've read LwL for a while, you'll know that I get invited to women's church group meetings by a couple of my friends/sisters in the Lord. And, I was invited, again.
So, on Tuesday, April 18th, I attended the women's meeting.
Oh, I should let you know that prior to attending, my friend who is the leader of the group, had contacted me. D, let me know that she wanted me to sing at the meeting.
Usually, when I attend, D asks me to help lead the singing, usually with another woman. You see, D plays the music, on the piano.
However, when she asked me to sing at the meeting scheduled for last Tuesday, she asked me to sing solo. A capella... meaning without any music.
I've done this in the past at various group meetings and celebrations, so I agreed to do so.
And, I did.
I must admit, I enjoyed singing. Not just because I adore singing.
But, mainly because when I sing, I am honouring our Lord. I praise Him.
Thinking of this, brought to mind, Psalm 104:33, "I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being."
Amen!
I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live.
I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
And, always will.
For this way, I can feel good in my heart, not just by singing... but, also for blessing Him by doing what He wants us to do.
Even though He blesses me.
Do you do this?
I hope you do.
For by honouring and praising Him, you'll be blessed.
Just as I have been.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...

A Blessing of Worship!
It's on my heart to tell you, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), what I did, yesterday.
Through the week, I wasn't sure where I would go to worship, on SONday.
However, something happened last Thursday, April 20th, while I spent time with a friend, that made me decide what to do.
You see, last Thursday, a friend of mine and I met at the Red Lobster restaurant. We enjoyed lunch, together.
Mmm... yes, the lobster sandwich I had was absolutely delicious!
Of course, I enjoyed my time with my friend, A. We'll look forward to getting together, again soon.
While we were at Red Lobster, a sister in the Lord was working there that day. L, had worked there a long time, but I hadn't been there for a very long time, and didn't know if she would be there. But, she was.
L spoke with my friend A, and me. She let us know that she would be singing on Sunday, where she worships.
So, I knew that's where I would go to worship.
Yes, I did go and worship, there.
After the worship service was over, I went to speak with L, to compliment her. To let her know how beautiful it was, what she sang.
I also got to speak with another sister in the Lord, who worships where I did for many years. She also let me know that she worshipped there, because L was singing.
Singing.
Many people don't think that music is good. However, as I've said many times in the past, music is also a good way of worshipping.
Thinking of this, made me think of Isaiah 12:5, "Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth."
Amen! We need to sing unto the Lord; for He hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.
This is why L sang.
This is why I sing, whenever I can.
Do you?
Hopefully, so.
For if you do, God will bless you!
Until next time...

Needed!
Like I've said in the past, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), today is a day when we need to worship. And, honour God.
Hopefully, you will worship Him. I know I will!
Of course, I also enjoy music as a method of worship. So, I decided to share a song with you.
This song is not a hymn. And, it's not really showing that it is honouring God. But, I feel that the lyrics actually honour Him.
The song is by Anne Murray and is entitled, You Needed Me. Here is a link for you to listen to and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-X79Jko9bBI. The lyrics are below.
You Needed Me
I cried a tear, you wiped it dry
I was confused, you cleared my mind
I sold my soul, you bought it back for me
And held me up and gave me dignity
Somehow you needed me
You gave me strength to stand alone again
To face the world out on my own again
You put me high upon a pedestal
So high that I could almost see eternity
You needed me, you needed me
And I can't believe it's you I can't believe it's true
I needed you and you were there
And I'll never leave, why should I leave, I'd be a fool
'Cause I finally found someone who really cares
You held my hand when it was cold
When I was lost, you took me home
You gave me hope when I was at the end
And turned my lies back into truth again
You even called me friend
You gave me strength to stand alone again
To face the world out on my own again
You put me high upon a pedestal
So high that I could almost see eternity
You needed me, you needed me
You needed me, you needed me
Even though Jesus' name isn't part of the lyrics of this song, I always think of Him, whenever I hear, think of, or sing this song.
As I mentioned recently, I've had tears and sadness, but He cleared my mind. And, He lifted me up so much, that I know He was there for me, because I needed Him.
He has held my hand, and has provided for me. He's given me hope. And, even calls me... friend.
Jesus has given me strength to stand alone again, to face the world out on my own again.
For this, I will always be thankful. And, will always praise Him.
Thinking of this, brought to mind, Psalm 28:7, "The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him."
Yes, the Lord IS my strength, and my sheld. My heart trusts Him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him.
This may have not been my song, but it was a song I felt honoured Him. Which is why I shared it with you.
Do you worship Him? Do you honour Him?
I do.
If you do, you'll truly be blessed.
Until next time...

Shalt Not!
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be discussing something I've done in the past.
I've watched movies!
Even though it's been a while since I've mentioned what I've watched, I thought I'd share some with you, today.
Here's some movies I've watched:
* Manhattan Murder Mystery, starring Alan Alda, Woody Allen and more actors. If you would like to check out this American comedy murder mystery film, please click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manhattan_Murder_Mystery. Hmmm... even though they say it is a comedy film, I didn't think so, since it had murder in it!
* Winged Creatures, starring Kate Beckinsale, Dakota Fanning and more actors. Would you like to check out this crime film, that was actually known to me as... Fragments, please click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winged_Creatures_(film). This movie was good to watch, even though it involved suicide and death.
* Blown Away, starring Jeff Bridges, Lloyd Bridges and other actors. To check out this action thriller film, you need to click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blown_Away_(1994_film). The action in the film was truly thrilling, but murder was involved.
* Suspect, starring Cher, Dennis Quaid and other actors. Click on this link, if you'd like to check out this American mystery/courtroom drama film: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suspect_(1987_film). Even though this movie seemed to make me feel like it was dangerous, it was good to watch.
* 15 Minutes, starring Robert De Niro, Edward Burns and other actors. If you'd like to check out this German-American crime thriller film, click here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/15_Minutes. Even though this movie involved murder, I enjoyed watching it.
If you read all the information I mentioned about the movies, you'll realize that they involved murder.
Even though I enjoyed the movies, I must admit, I don't enjoy murder.
After all, God told us that we should not murder/kill anyone.
Just as we read, in Exodus 20:13, "Thou shalt not kill."
Yes, God told us that thou shalt not kill, when He discussed the Ten Commandments.
Why murder seems to be acceptable to some people is beyond me.
The only thing I can think of, is the fact that whoever is murdering/killing other people, aren't part of God's family. They aren't truly Christian.
After all, if the person was truly Christian, they would want to read God's Word, the Bible. By doing so, they would see what He expects of them, and what He would do for them.
Do you read the Bible?
I do.
In fact, I read some of the Bible, each and every day. So, over the course of the year, I read the entire Bible.
Hopefully, you do also.
If not, please... begin reading the Bible, today. Begin in the New Testament portion, for it relates to our Saviour, Jesus Christ, in a very positive way.
If you do, you'll be blessed.
Until next time...

No More...
Hopefully, you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) a few
days ago.
If you did, you'll know that on Good Friday, Friday, April 14th, 2017, I sat beside a woman at the worship service, who normally worshipped with another church group at a different location. And, we sat together, at the back of the sanctuary.
The lady who sat beside me, was named, L.
L let me know how she had knee replacement surgery done. Truthfully, since she had trouble with her knee, had to keep moving her leg in various ways, and even had to stand up for a few minutes, I felt sorry for her.
Knowing that L mentioned she had her knee replaced, I truly thought it had been done, days earlier than when we met.
Why would I think this?
Well, she seemed to have a lot of pain. And, had trouble dealing with the pain. Yes, she had also mentioned she had pain.
I must admit, I truly felt badly for L.
You see, when my mom was alive, she had both her knees replaced.
Plus, on Monday, April 3rd, 2017, my cousin E... who lives in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, USA, had her knee replaced.
Yes, my cousin has pain. However, she told me that due to having over 6 hours of treatment daily, she has been able to walk. And, even ran for a few seconds.
Wow! When did I hear about this?
I had a conversation with my cousin E, on the evening before I met L, at the worship service on Good Friday. This means I spoke with my cousin E, on Thursday, April 13th.
To be honest, I was so happy for my cousin E, since she has been able to function well, even though her knee replacement surgery happened, only 10 days earlier!
Not only did I thank God when I spoke with my cousin E, by telephone. But, I thanked God again, on Good Friday.
You see, I mentioned to my sister in the Lord, L... who sat beside me, about my cousin.
She seemed upset hearing about how well my cousin was doing.
Why? L let me know she had her knee replacement surgery more than six (6) weeks earlier.
Sigh...
I asked L if she was having the same treatment that my cousin E was receiving. L let me know, she did not.
Believe me when I say I let L know I would pray for her. In fact, silently, I prayed for her, at that time.
Thinking about how L and many other people are suffering, made me think about Jesus. And, about how He suffered.
Thinking of how Jesus suffered, made me think of Isaiah 53:5, "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."
Yes, He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.
Jesus paid the price for sin. For the sin of the world, of all who would believe upon Him... and gain salvation.
Jesus paid the price for so much, for us. He suffered for us. And, paid the price for the sin of all who believe upon Him.
By His stripes, we... who are of His family, are healed.
Hopefully, through prayer, anyone who is need of healing, who is truly a member of His family, will be healed, here on earth.
I must say, I'm praying for healing not just for others, but also for myself.
However, the fact remains that even if we do not receive total healing while we are alive, we who are of His family here on earth... will be healed when our life here on earth ends, and we are taken to Heaven, to be with Him, forever.
At that time, we will have no more pain. And, no more suffering.
For this, I am thankful. And, always will be.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...

Hallelujah!
If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday, you'll know what I did, early on Easter Sunday, Resurrection Sunday!
You'll also know that I hadn't had even one (1) minute of sleep before attending that worship service.
Yes, I was tired.
Even though I had brought a plate of some dessert items, so people could enjoy them after the pot-luck lunch that was happening after the 11:00 a.m. worship service, I decided I couldn't stay.
About to leave, my pastor friend, Tom suggested I stay for breakfast that had been made for everyone. At first, I said I would leave, but he talked me into staying, so I did.
I must admit, it was a delicious meal! And, of course it was a blessing spending time with brothers and sisters in the Lord! Thank You!
Then, I headed home. And, slept for about two and a half (2 1/2) hours.
Getting up, I did what I needed to do, including making calls to people I wanted to wish Happy Easter! Happy Resurrection Day!, to.
Then, it was time to head off to see my daughter, B... and some of her family members.
It was truly a fun time, seeing family! I enjoyed every minute, there! Thank You, B! xoxo
And, felt truly blessed.
Of course, I felt blessed again, when I headed over to see my daughter, P... and some of her family members.
Yes, I brought some dessert! Dessert was to be eaten after the delicious dinner/supper we ate together! Thank you, P! xoxo
Please know that even though some of my church family and personal family are saved, I realize that some people still need to call upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, to gain salvation.
Just as we read, in Romans 10:13, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Yes, whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved!
For this, I am truly thankful! Praise God! Hallelujah!
May everyone you know become saved, as well.
Please, join me in prayer for everyone we know.
I will always pray. And, hope you will, also.
For if we pray, salvation may be obtained by others. And, we will be blessed, in addition to them.
Thank You, Lord!

Be Saved!
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be letting you know about something.
It has to do with what I did last Sunday. Easter Sunday. Resurrection Day!
Before I tell you what I did that day, I need to remind you that on the Saturday of last weekend, it wasn't a fun and/or happy day for me. After all, even though it wasn't truly the anniversary of my wedding day, my now deceased husband, Gordon and I were married on the Saturday of Easter weekend.
Even though I felt rather calm that day, I had trouble sleeping that night.
Well, to be honest, I never had even 1 minute of sleep, that night.
So, just after 5:00 a.m., which was Sunday morning, I decided to get ready and go to attend the sunrise worship service with the church family I used to be a member of. Even though I thought I'd be there before 6:00 a.m., when the service was to begin, I found I was about eight (8) minutes late.
Believe me when I say it was upsetting when I arrived at the church building.
Not just because I was arriving late. But, also because even though the worship service had begun, the man who in the past had done damage to my vehicle and to vehicles of some friends, was outside.
Sigh...
I had thought he wouldn't have seen which street I had parked at, rather than in the church building parking lot. But, he did see where I came from.
Sigh...
He was smoking and drinking coffee by the front door.
I asked him why he was there. He said he felt too warm inside, so he was outside for a while.
I responded letting him know that even though I was late, I felt we both needed to be inside.
He didn't come. I prayed that he wouldn't do anything to damage my vehicle.
The worship service had begun, but knowing it was music at that time, I was glad I hadn't missed the sermon.
That man came into the sanctuary, but also left several times during the worship service. Believe me when I say I felt stressed, but I prayed for him.
The service was absolutely wonderful! A true blessing! Thank You, Lord!
Of course, to me it is truly loving to honour Jesus. Just as we did, who worshipped there, that early on Resurrection Sunday!
Knowing what we did on Resurrection Sunday, made me think of Romans 10:9, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
Amen!
If we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we shall be saved.
Hallelujah!
I have done this, and gained salvation.
Have you? If not, please do it, today.
Tomorrow may be too late.
Until next time...

Honour...
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll let you know what I did last Friday.
Yes, it was Good Friday.
I believe you probably know that I went to a worship service. Yes, I did!
It was shocking to me when I arrived to park at the church group's building. There was very many vehicles!
When I went to find a seat at a pew, another woman and I spoke for a second. We both decided to sit beside each other at the back of the sanctuary.
I must admit, the sanctuary was truly packed with people! Far more than I had ever seen, even though I had been there a few times in the past.
When I read the information regarding the worship service, I realized that there were several other groups of brothers and sisters in the Lord, who worship at other church group buildings. Wow! It was truly amazing.
When the lady beside me and I spoke, I realized that she was from one of the other church groups, who were worshipping there. We spoke about that for a few minutes.
I must admit, the worship service was very nice.
It was nice seeing some people there, that I know, personally. Plus, it was nice seeing others, like the woman who sat beside me.
We were all there to honour our Lord.
Thinking of this, brought to mind, Proverbs 3:9, "Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:"
Yes, we need to honour our Lord, with everything inside of us, and with any firstfruits of all our increase.
After all, our Lord, Jesus Christ, did all for us.
He gave His own life here on earth, to pay the price for the sin of the world, of all who will believe upon Him.
Jesus did this, so that He could fulfill God our Father's plan of redemption for us. By doing so, we received a way we could obtain salvation.
I've gained salvation.
Have you?
If you're not sure or if you haven't yet, please come to Christ, today.
Tomorrow may be too late.
Until next time...

Yes, it was Good Friday.
I believe you probably know that I went to a worship service. Yes, I did!
It was shocking to me when I arrived to park at the church group's building. There was very many vehicles!

Alleluia!
If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday, you'll know that yesterday was Easter Sunday. This means that today is Easter Monday!
Even though Jesus was risen on Easter Sunday, I decided to share with you an Easter hymn that relates to this important time.
The hymn is by Charles Wesley and someone else, unknown. It is entitled, Christ The Lord Is Risen Today. Here is a link for you to listen to and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzy7jFNUc3w. The lyrics are below:
Christ The Lord Is Risen Today
Christ the Lord is risen today, Alleluia!
Sons of men and angels say, Alleluia!
Raise your joys and triumphs high, Alleluia!
Sing, ye heavens, and earth reply, Alleluia!
Lives again our glorious King, Alleluia!
Where, o death, is now thy sting? Alleluia!
Dying once He all doth save, Alleluia!
Where thy victory, o grave? Alleluia!
Love's redeeming work is done, Alleluia!
Fought the fight, the battle won, Alleluia!
Death in vain, forbids him rise, Alleluia!
Christ has opened paradise, Alleluia!
Soar we now where Christ has led, Alleluia!
Following our exalted Head, Alleluia!
Made like Him, like Him we rise, Alleluia!
Ours the cross, the grave, the skies, Alleluia!
Alleluia!
Christ is risen!
Even though He rose from the dead on the day we call Easter Sunday, I decided to share this with you today, since it is a holiday, here in Canada, called Easter Monday. Just as I mentioned, earlier.
Why?
Because it's very important to realize that Jesus is alive, and not dead.
Just as we read, in Luke 24:5-8, "And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
6 He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,
7 Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
8 And they remembered his words,"
I praise God they remembered His words. After all, He always spoke truth.
Jesus is risen!
For this, I'll always be thankful!
He loves us so much!
When we have gained salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, He loves us so much, that he also raises us from the dead. And, we who have been raised from the dead, will spend eternity with Him, in Heaven.
Thank You, Lord!
Alleluia!

Resurrection Sunday! Happy Easter!
Today, is a special day, even here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).
It's the anniversary of when Jesus was resurrected. When He rose from the dead.
To discuss His resurrection, I decided to share with you, Matthew 28, 1-20, "In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.
5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
8 And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.
9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
10 Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.
11 Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.
12 And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers,
13 Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.
14 And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.
15 So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.
16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
Just as we read in today's Bible verses, Jesus rose from the dead! Hallelujah!
He also told us to go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
We are to teach people to observe all things He has commanded us to do, for He is with us always... even unto the end of the world. Amen!
Hallelujah!
All I feel I can say to you at this time, is... do what our Lord, wants us to do. Just as I do. And, be thankful.
Celebrate the resurrection of our Lord!
And, I will wish you... Happy Resurrection Sunday!
Until next time...

More Tears... and Joy...
If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) on March 29th, you would know that something brought me tears... and joy.
What was it?
March 29th, would have been a special day for my deceased husband, Gordon and me. As I said on that LwL entry, if Gordon were alive, we would have celebrated our wedding anniversary.
Why am I mentioning that, today?
Well, when we got married, even though it was March 29th, it was also the Saturday, of Easter weekend.
So, today... is another day when I feel tears and joy. And, deal with grief.
Thinking about this, brought to mind, Matthew 5:4, "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted."
Yes, blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Just as God does for me. And, others who think the way I do.
Not just for the death of Gordon. Or, for my parents, brother, and other relatives and friends who died.
Plus, of course... Jesus.
After all, on Good Friday, which was yesterday, it was the anniversary of Jesus' death.
Jesus lost his life. He died.
Even though it breaks my heart what was done to Jesus when he was crucified, I am thankful that He did end His life.
Yes, he could have chosen to not end His life. But, He did.
I'm thankful that by giving his life to pay for the sin of the world, of all who believe upon Him, He created a way for us to gain salvation.
By Jesus doing this, we are truly blessed.
And, always will be if we belong to Him, and have gained salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ. For once our lives end, we will spend eternity in Heaven with Him.
Thank You, Lord.
Until next time...

Good Friday!
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I want to discuss with you about Good Friday.
Why? Because, it is a very special day.
It's the day that Jesus died for the sin of all the world, of all who would believe upon Him... even though Jesus never had any sin in His life.
I realize that not everyone reads the Bible. If you do, you'll know why I am sharing with you what happened that day.
Just as read, in Matthew 27:1-66, "When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death:
2 And when they had bound him, they led him away, and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor.
3 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
4 Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.
5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.
6 And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.
7 And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in.
8 Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day.
9 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value;
10 And gave them for the potter's field, as the Lord appointed me.
11 And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And Jesus said unto him, Thou sayest.
12 And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing.
13 Then said Pilate unto him, Hearest thou not how many things they witness against thee?
14 And he answered him to never a word; insomuch that the governor marvelled greatly.
15 Now at that feast the governor was wont to release unto the people a prisoner, whom they would.
16 And they had then a notable prisoner, called Barabbas.
17 Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus which is called Christ?
18 For he knew that for envy they had delivered him.
19 When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.
20 But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.
21 The governor answered and said unto them, Whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you? They said, Barabbas.
22 Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified.
23 And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.
24 When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.
25 Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.
26 Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.
27 Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band of soldiers.
28 And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe.
29 And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
30 And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.
31 And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him.
32 And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross.
33 And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull,
34 They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink.
35 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.
36 And sitting down they watched him there;
37 And set up over his head his accusation written, This Is Jesus The King Of The Jews.
38 Then were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left.
39 And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads,
40 And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.
41 Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said,
42 He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.
43 He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God.
44 The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth.
45 Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.
46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
47 Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias.
48 And straightway one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink.
49 The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him.
50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.
55 And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him:
56 Among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedees children.
57 When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus' disciple:
58 He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered.
59 And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,
60 And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed.
61 And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulchre.
62 Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate,
63 Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.
64 Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.
65 Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can.
66 So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch."
Even though it can be heart-breaking, sad and upsetting knowing how Jesus suffered, it is truly a blessing what He did.
Jesus did not have to experience what happened that day. But, He wanted to fulfill God the Father's plan of redemption for us, so He did accept what was done to Him.
Even so, He was risen to spend eternity in Heaven. He's alive!
For this, I am thankful, and always will be.
Until next time...

36 And sitting down they watched him there;
37 And set up over his head his accusation written, This Is Jesus The King Of The Jews.
51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

London, England...
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be letting you know about something that I feel needs to be discussed.
It's regarding an online posting of MSN for world news that I read on Thursday, March 23rd, 2017. The article is by the Associated Press and is entitled, IS group claims responsibility for London car, knife attack. Please read it, by clicking on this link: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/the-latest-london-attacker-was-british-born-man-may-says/ar-BByCg99.
Hopefully, you took the time to read the article.
If you did, you'll know that the article gave us the following information (I copied/pasted):
The Islamic State group said through its Aamaq News Agency that the attacker was a soldier of the Islamic State who "carried out the operation in response to calls for targeting citizens of the coalition" of countries fighting IS in Syria and Iraq. In addition to the police officer and the attacker, who was shot by police, two people died on Westminster Bridge and at least 30 others were injured, seven critically.
You also would have read the following information (I copied/pasted):
British officials did not release the attacker's identity or confirm a link with the Islamic State group. May described it as "a perversion of a great faith."
By the way, in case you don't know this, the person... May... who described it as "a perversion of a great faith."... is UK's Prime Minister, Theresa May.
Perversion of a great faith?
In case you don't know what the word 'perversion' means, I thought I would share with you what Google tells us (I copied/pasted):
noun
noun: perversion; plural noun: perversions
1.
the alteration of something from its original course, meaning, or state to a distortion or corruption of what was first intended.
"all great evil is the perversion of a good"
2.
sexual behavior or desire that is considered abnormal or unacceptable.
Perversion?
It seems UK's Prime Minister, Theresa May is either ignoring what Muslims are truly doing, or she needs to accept the truth about Islam and how people in various parts of the world are being attacked due to the reality of what Islam teaches Muslims.
Here is a video by LiveLeak.com entitled, Jayda Fransen EPIC rant on London terror attack!: https://www.liveleak.com/view?i=203_1490465300#DarsEB0orHd3UR0V.01. Please... watch the video!
I must admit, just like Jayda Fransen, I feel badly for what's happened in London, England. Hopefully, you do also.
Just so you know, I received an e-mail message that had a link to an article that had a video on it. Yes, it involved what happened in London, England.
Rather than use the article, I went onto YouTube and found the Rebel Media video. So, I'm sharing it with you. It's entitled: London attack: Leftists laugh at Tommy Robinson: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhrhLovaFs8.
Please... watch that video.
You may not like that there was some swearing done. However, if you watch/listen to the entire video, you'll see why.
It seems that much like here in Canada, there in England, there are people who laugh at what Muslims are doing at places throughout the world. These people probably are happy about what Islam is encouraging Muslims to do.
If you watched the video, you'll know that it was said that about 50,000 Muslims in England had downloaded 'Inspire Magazine'. Apparently, it is an Islamic magazine that shows Muslims what to do to attack people. No, I didn't look for a link to share with you. I don't want to be involved with Muslims who are doing what they are doing in Europe.
I also don't want Muslims to do in Canada, what they are now doing in Europe. However, when the number of Muslims increases enough for them to feel they can easily do what they want to do, I believe they will.
This breaks my heart.
Especially, since our Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau doesn't care. If he did, he'd accept what Islam is doing throughout the world, and stop trying to change Canada by bringing in thousands of Muslims.
Even though I don't like what Justin Trudeau has done to us Canadians, I don't hate him. I pray for him.
Thinking of this, made me think of Matthew 5:44, "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;"
Yes, I love my enemies. I bless them that curse me. I do good to them that hate me. And, I pray for them who despitefully use me and persecute me.
I'll always do this.
After all, it's what God wants me to do.
Please, join me. Do what you can do.
Speak truth.
And, pray.
Until next time...

WSIB Lawsuit? Wow!
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), there's something I need to say.
Praise God! Hallelujah!
A posting was made on the Unifor Local 195 Injured Workers Support Group page on Facebook (FB).
The posting truly touched my heart! As I'm sure you can tell.
The article posted was by manitoulin.ca and is entitled, Lawsuit against WSIB 'a landmark ruling,' Injured Workers Group. Click on this link to read it: http://www.manitoulin.ca/2017/02/24/lawsuit-wsib-landmark-ruling-injured-workers-group/.
If you read the beginning of the article, you'll know that it said (I copied/pasted):
The local president of the Manitoulin-North Shore Injured Workers Group (MNSIWG) calls a class action suit being launched (and having been given the go ahead by a court of appeal) against the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) a landmark ruling. The lawsuit claiming unfair benefit cuts imposed on a Brampton man could potentially impact hundreds of workers allegedly denied “full extent of benefits to which they were entitled.”
At the end of the article it said (I copied/pasted):
“Lets hope all of these leads to a Royal Commission investigation to decide what the board’s rights and methods are and should be,” stated Mr. Hrytsak. “It is certainly going to be interesting.”
To be honest, this truly made me happy.
Why?
Because, I never heard that anyone could sue the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), that in the past was called Workers Compensation (WC). Especially, since lawyers had always told anyone who had asked about it, that it was not able to be done.
You may wonder why I am happy there is a class action law suit being launched.
My feelings on this issue, is because it seems to me that injured workers are not truly and completely supported.
Some people think that injured workers are supported financially, and medically by WSIB. But, this is not true.
How do I know this?
Well, I have not received what I have needed. And, I know of others who have been treated the same way.
In fact, almost everyone I've met who is an injured worker, suffers big time... by what WSIB does. And, always will.
To me, WSIB is truly wicked to injured workers.
Thinking of this, made me think about Psalm 7:11, "God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day."
Me, and anyone else who belongs to God, is righteous. God will judgeth the righteous, but not in a way where we suffer, because God is not angry with us.
However, God is angry with the wicked, every day. Just as we read in today's Bible verse.
Please know that because God is angry with the wicked, they will truly suffer. Maybe not while they are alive, here on earth. But, they will for sure, once their lives have ended, here on earth.
How will they suffer? They will suffer through God's wrath. His anger.
To be honest, I pray for anyone/everyone who works for WSIB. I actually wonder how they can even sleep at night.
After all, they are hurting those who have been injured while working. And, God will deal with them.
I want you to know, I pray.
Not just for those who work and hurt injured workers.
I also pray that the class action law suit will be sufficient in helping injured workers.
Hopefully, you will, also.
If so, I thank you.
May God bless you.
Until next time...

Injured Workers... Bill Passed!
Today, I'll be discussing something important to me, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).
On Thursday, April 6th, 2017, I attended another group meeting for Unifor Local 195 Injured Workers Support Group.
This group isn't only for those who are members of unions, here in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
It's also for anyone/everyone else. Not just those who have been injured while working, but also for anyone in support of those who are injured workers and/or those whose lives have ended here on earth while they were working.
Many issues were discussed. Some good. Some not great for injured workers.
However, there was something that I found out from the leader of our Group, L. After discussing it, she let me know she'd message me with a link to the article I was interested in. She did. So, I'm going to share it with you.
The article is by Windsor.ctvnews.ca and is entitled, Hatfield's Day of Mourning bill passes final reading: http://windsor.ctvnews.ca/hatfield-s-day-of-mourning-bill-passes-final-reading-1.2938846?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook.
In case you can't click on the link and read the article, I decided I will share it with you.
Here is what is stated:
Windsor-Tecumseh MPP Percy Hatfield's private member's bill proclaiming a Workers Day of Mourning has passed the final reading in the legislature.
The bill will ensure schools, universities, provincial and municipal buildings will lower their flags on April 28 each year, the day set aside to mourn those lost on the job or injured.
It’s the first time in more than 20 years that a Windsor MPP has had a private member's bill passed in the legislature.
“It’s especially gratifying as the Liberals have a majority government and it was up to them whether Bill 180 was tabled for a final vote," Hatfield said.
“The idea for the Workers Day of Mourning Act came from Rolly Marentette and Tracie Edward who organize the annual Day of Mourning ceremony for the Windsor and District Labour Council,“ he said.
“This bill will ensure that April 28th remains designated as the Workers Day of Mourning. No longer will public institutions be allowed to ignore the significance of the day and what it means to working people in our province," Hatfield said.
“We as adults tell our teenagers not to drink and drive, not to text and drive, but how many of us encourage them to think about their health and safety in the workplace? Far too many people, especially our young citizens, are still being injured, or killed while at work.”
Wow!
This truly touched my heart. And, made me happy, even though thinking of the Day of Mourning, can be sad.
You see, on the Day of Mourning, which will now be known as the Worker's Day of Mourning, we think about workers, honour, cherish, and support those who were injured while working, plus those who died by being injured while working, plus the family members of all.
We need to understand the truth about injuries and death. And, have hope.
Thinking of this brought to mind, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14, "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him."
Unbelievers may not have hope when their loved one(s) become injured or die.
However, those who are truly Christian, realize that we need to not be just heart-broken when we experience injury and/or death of workers.
Why?
Just as we read in today's Bible verses... if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.
This makes it clear to us that anyone who is Christian, who has lost their life here on earth, will rise and spend eternity in Heaven, with God.
For this, we must be thankful. Always.
I know through God's Word, the Bible... I have been encouraged, realizing that God is always there for us.
Because I am a born-again Christian, I know that even though I was injured while working, God has helped me... every day of my life.
I also know that when my life ends, I'll be with Him, in Heaven... forever.
Will you?
Please realize that all you need to do, to have this as part of your life, is to trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved (Acts 16:31).
If you've done this, you will also spend eternity in Heaven with God.
For this, be thankful.
I am.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...

All Things, Including The Titanic!
Today, I thought I'd discuss something here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).
In the past, I've mentioned it. But, not everyone will recall, I'm sure.
Even though this isn't April 15th, I thought I'd share with you some information about what I want to discuss. After all, April 15th this year, is the Saturday of Easter weekend.
In addition, rather than sharing it with you on April 15th, the day of the anniversary of when the RMS Titanic ship sank, I thought it would be good to share this with you on April 10th. You see, April 10th, 1912, was when the Titanic left Britain.
Here's a link for you to read about the Titanic: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RMS_Titanic.
Why am I discussing this, today?
Well, my granny was from Northern Ireland, so even though she was Irish, she was British. And, she was supposed to leave there, and arrive in America. But, she arrived too late to board the ship.
I recall my granny speaking about how she cried while sitting on the dock, because she wasn't able to take the cruise.
Every time I think of this, I feel badly for my granny, for she was so hurt.
However, every time I think of this, I also feel grateful to God!
Hallelujah!
Thank You, Lord!
Thinking of this, made me think of Ephesians 5:20, "Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;"
Yes, giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ... is so very important.
Not just for things in my life, but also for things in your life. And, my granny's.
After all, if my granny had been on time and had entered the Titanic, chances are her life would have ended, when the ship sank.
However, God provided for her even though she felt sick in her heart. For, her life didn't end. He protected her.
And, she ended up coming into Canada shortly after, met the fellow who became my grandfather. They had children, including my dad.
For this, I'm thankful.
And, always will be.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...

Gift of Love...
As I've said many times in the past, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), today is our Lord's Day!
It's when we need to worship.
We need to worship in spirit and in truth, just as you've heard me say before.
However, we can also worship Him through music. Just as we'll do, today!
Knowing that Easter is coming, I was thinking about Jesus. And, about how He is our Lamb of God.
For this reason, I'm sharing with you the music of Lamb of God. Here is a link for you to listen to and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFn_f_mSaj0 . The lyrics are below.
Lamb of God
Your only Son, no sin to hide,
but you have sent Him from your side
to walk upon this guilty sod,
and to become the Lamb of God.
Your gift of love they crucified,
they laughed and scorned Him as He died;
the humble King they named a fraud,
and sacrificed the Lamb of God.
O Lamb of God, sweet Lamb of God;
I love the holy Lamb of God.
O wash me in His precious blood.
My Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God.
I was so lost, I should have died,
but You have brought me to Your side
to be led by Your staff and rod,
and to become a lamb of God.
O Lamb of God, sweet Lamb of God;
I love the holy Lamb of God.
O wash me in His precious blood.
'Til I am just a lamb of God.
O wash me in His precious blood.
My Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God.
This music and lyrics are so wonderful, that I even sang it by myself... solo (a capella - without music) at a church service a couple of years ago.
Just as the lyrics say, I love the holy Lamb of God. Yes, Jesus is the Lamb of God.
Like we read, in John 1:29, "The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world."
Our sweet Lamb of God is so wonderful! I truly love Him.
We all need to realize that Jesus is the Lamb of God.
We who trust in/believe upon Him get washed in His Blood and gain salvation. Then, we spend eternity in Heaven with Him.
I will. Will you?
If so, I'll look forward to seeing you, in Heaven, along with Jesus!
Until next time...
