Today, I'll discuss something I did, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).
On Friday, February 17th, 2017 I spent the evening with a women's group that I have been with a couple times in the past. It's the meeting held monthly where my friend, N worships.
As I've done in the past, I've mentioned The City Church, here in Windsor. I'm sharing a link with you, so you can check it out, if you like: http://www.thecitychurch.co/.
We didn't begin our gathering in the fellowship room, where we met previously, in the past.
The female pastor, Kim Freeman who leads and speaks at the women's group meetings, had us begin in the sanctuary. It was truly a blessing being there, to hear her speak.
I must admit, she's a wonderful teacher/preacher/speaker!
She leads us down the pathway of focusing on our Lord, rather than on our daily lives. And, helps to lead us to rely on our Lord; just as we all need to do!
Afterwards, we all entered into the fellowship room. Like other times, we all enjoyed eating our pot-luck dinner!
There's something I need to say that made me happy.
Not only did I see the women who I mentioned I was happy to see during the event last month. I'm referring to the women who were daughters of my friend, who was their mom (unfortunately, as I previously mentioned, their mom passed away).
I was also happy to see a woman who attended that I hadn't seen for a while. She used to work at my apartment building as a security guard.
How wonderful it was to see her! This lady was someone I had always hoped would come to know and love our Lord. Hopefully, she has become saved. I'm praying about that, because I realize she didn't worship there.
She's only one (1) of so very many people I've prayed about/for.
But, God gave me grace, by showing me that she was willing to be with Christians! Hallelujah!
Thinking of this, brought to mind, 2 Corinthians 9:13, "And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:".
God is able to answer all prayers.
He makes all grace abound towards us, so that we always have sufficiency in all things, and may abound to every good work. Just as was done, there.
For this, I was truly thankful.
And, always will be.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...
