If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday, you'll know that I attended a seminar on Saturday, March 11th, 2017.
After the seminar was finished, we all did what we always have done in the past.
We ate lunch together. Even though the church family provided the lunch, I brought some dessert.
Not only was lunch delicious, but I enjoyed the time with my previous church family members who attended the seminar. Thank You, Lord!
Afterwards, there was something else I needed to do, that day.
I went to a funeral service. The person who had died, was a brother in the Lord, who I had known along with his wife, for many years.
I must admit, I felt both happy and sad, attending the funeral service.
It was nice to think positively and reflect upon D, who had died. It was heartbreaking for me to think of his wife, D... and his family.
After all, even though it is wonderful to know that he is now in Heaven with our Lord, it isn't easy to deal with the loss of someone you love and/or care for.
Let's face it, grief isn't easy.
But, God is good. He helps us deal with it. Especially, when we approach Him, for help.
Much like we read, in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."
I'm sure my friend and her family will cast all their care upon Him, for they realize that He cares for us.
For this, I am thankful... not just for them, but also for me. And, for you, if you feel the same way.
Of course, only those who belong to Him would feel this way. Just as I do.
Do you belong to Him?
My friend, if you don't know how to belong to Him, please realize that all you have to do is trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ... and you shall be saved (Acts 16:31).
By gaining salvation, you belong to Him.
If you haven't yet done this, please... do it, today.
Tomorrow, may be too late.
Until next time...
