Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday, I discussed something I did last week. Today, I'll discuss something else I did last week!
A Christian friend of mine, W who worships where I did for about 19 years, let me know that their women's group was having a Games Night. It happened last Friday, March 24th, 2017.
For the last few months, I actually had attended a women's group meeting at a different church, where another friend of mine worships. However, I forgot the date was the same, and since my sister in the Lord, W had invited me to attend, I had agreed to do so.
So, even though I felt badly about not going to be with my friend, N... I enjoyed being with my friend, W! Plus of course, many other sisters in the Lord. Some of which I hadn't seen in a while.
Many of the women at the Games Night event were happy to see me. And, commented about how they missed me. This truly made me feel happy and sad.
Also, knowing that my now deceased husband, Gordon and I used to worship there, it was also heart-breaking being there. Especially, since we both taught English as a Second Language (TESL/ESL), as volunteers, there.
The games we played were truly much fun! I enjoyed doing this.
However, I must say that I thought about how my deceased husband, Gordon and I had taught some ESL classes in that room. Plus, he had been in his coffin in that room, for a couple of hours before his funeral service took place. :'(
Plus, when I went to use the ladies' washroom, I saw the door was open in another room.
That room was where my deceased husband Gordon, and I attended Bible study. Plus, it was the room where we had taught most of the people for the ESL classes.
Being there made me feel happy... and sad.
Even though I had good memories at that church building, I also felt sick in my heart.
I realize it was grief that affected me. And, made me feel sorrowful.
Thinking of this, brought to mind, 1 Thessalonians 4:13, "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope."
Even though this Bible verse doesn't really relate to what I felt, it seemed important to me. After all, we should not be ignorant concerning anyone who has passed away/died, even if we don't sorrow, like others who have no hope.
Knowing this, makes me realize that it is okay to feel sorrow, for I have much hope.
You see, my deceased husband, Gordon was also saved. He had gained salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ. So, he is now with Him, forever.
Like everyone who does this, he was forgiven for any and/or all sin that he may have committed in his life.
Just as I am. Just as you are, if you have gained salvation.
Have you?
If not, please... come to Christ, today.
Tomorrow may be too late.
Until next time...

Abound...
I'm finally going to tell you about something, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL). It's something I did last week!
On Tuesday, March 21, 2017, I attended a ladies' meeting that is held monthly, at a friend's church. Just as I've done, many times in the past. It was wonderful attending this event.
My friend, D is the woman who is in charge of the group meetings, and arranges everything. Not just the speaker, and a few other things, but also music.
D also plays piano. She's a great pianist, to be sure!
In addition to having a young woman sing a couple of hymns, she also asked me to sing. :)
So, I did. Just as I've done many times in the past!
Knowing it was the month of March, and even though it was past St. Patrick's Day, I sort of felt that green would be the colour for the meeting. It was! Of course, tables were also lovely decorated in an Irish manor.
The speaker was a sister in the Lord that I've known for quite a while.
Her speaking was done wonderfully! Her testimony involved not just herself, but also health concerns regarding her husband.
Yes, the speaker was wonderful, giving testimony. Plus, it was a true blessing spending time with the women who are fellow sisters in the Lord!
Of course, I also enjoyed being able to participate in the event, by singing. It felt truly graceful to be able to give of myself, to this church family that I do not worship with on a weekly basis.
Thinking of this, made me think of 2 Corinthians 9:8, "And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:"
Just as we read in today's Bible verse, God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.
Yes, it was truly a blessing for me, to do work not just for the group, but also for God.
Do you do any work for God? Hopefully, so.
I enjoy doing work for Him. Always.
Since He always blesses anyone who does work for Him, hopefully you will do all you can for Him.
I always will.
Forever.
Until next time...

Tears and Joy...
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll discuss something that isn't easy for me to deal with.
What is it?
Well, if my deceased husband, Gordon was alive, then we would be celebrating our wedding anniversary. But, it can't be celebrated, because he is not alive.
Is this easy to deal with?
Absolutely, not. At least, not for me.
I believe most people feel like I do, for losing someone they love.
Even though tears are not always part of me, I cry at times.
After all, it's not easy having someone you love, die.
While other people also feel this way, I realize that we humans are not alone in our way of dealing with grief.
Why do I think this?
God showed us that Jesus was similar.
Just as we read, in John 11:35, "Jesus wept."
Yes, Jesus wept.
He wept when Mary and Martha's brother Lazarus, died. Lazarus was important to Jesus.
Just as Gordon, my parents, my brother, and some other relatives and friends were to me.
Even though it makes me sad about Gordon dying, I'm grateful that he was a born again Christian. For upon his death, he went to spend eternity with our Lord.
For this, I am thankful.
And, always will be.
Until next time...

More Warning...
Every now and then, I share something with you that I've received by e-mail, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL). Today, I'll be doing it.
Recently, I received an e-mail from therebel.media. I copied/pasted the message so you can see it. Here it is:
Hopefully, you read the e-mail message I received.
If you couldn't access the next page by clicking on the video/pic, then please click on this link that I decided to share with you, so you could watch the video on YouTube that is entitled, Canada Passes Blasphemy Motion: Faith Goldy Reacts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RdSihRRXJso.
Please realize that the reason for this being shared with you, is so that we Canadians can try to fight to have our Freedom... affected. Yes, our Freedom of Speech, has been taken away by the motion done by our government.
Now, it's not just in our province of Ontario. It's now done federally. This means that everyone who lives anywhere in Canada, has LOST their FREEDOM OF SPEECH!
Unless it can be continually fought against.
Please, do what was suggested. Click on the link for www.FreedomToOffent.com that was included in the e-mail message. Sign and share the petition.
Just so you know, after I wrote this LwL entry, I came across another article by therebel.media entitled, Freedom To Offend, that I believe you need to take a look at, so I'm now adding it for you to see: https://www.therebel.media/freedom-to-offend-free-speech-not-sharia.
Why do I think you should see this? Because, it is supporting what I have said in the past, about how M-103 will open the door for Muslims to bring Sharia Law into Canada. If this happens, they won't live by our Canadian laws... and they will work to finish changing Canada into an Islamic country.
As was said earlier in today's LwL entry, our Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau has done this. He's hurting our country in many ways.
Not just financially. Definitely by taking away some of our Freedom.
Yes, he's truly offended us.
Thinking of this, brought to mind, 1 Corinthians 10:32, "Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:"
Justin Trudeau should not offend any of us. Not Jews, Gentiles, or anyone who is part of the church of God. Just as we read in today's Bible verse.
Even so, he has.
My brothers and sisters in the Lord, please... pray that Justin Trudeau will come to Christ, and gain salvation by trusting in/believing upon Him.
By doing this, he will become saved and spend eternity in Heaven with Him after his life here on earth ends. Just as ours does.
However, by him becoming a born again Christian, he would also read God's Word, the Bible. Then, he would realize how wrong he's been to people. Including all of us Canadians.
Thank you for praying.
May God bless you.

Recently, I received an e-mail from therebel.media. I copied/pasted the message so you can see it. Here it is:
Dear Lynn,
Justin Trudeau's anti-free speech motion has just passed.
M103 is what the government has touted as an "anti-Islamophobia" motion, but in reality, it's little more than a blasphemy law against freedom of speech.
201 MPs voted in favour of the motion, and 91 MPs voted against it.
The vote may have been lost, but the battle is far from over.
Here is my immediate reaction to the motion passing:

Next, a House of Commons committee will be tasked with studying Islamophobia and developing a "whole of government" approach to eliminating it.
That's where our next fight lies.
What we need to do now is continue our opposition to the motion.
Please share our petition with your friends and family at www.FreedomToOffend.com and help fight this dangerous motion.
According to our Charter of Rights and Freedoms, we’re all equal. Every individual — not a belief system or an ideology — is equal before and under the law. We all have equal protections and benefit equally from the law.
Muslims do not get special treatment or protections. This isn't about "Islamophobia." It's about freedom of speech. If I want to criticize a religion or an idea, I should have every right to do so.
The Rebel is committed to this fight, and we're glad to have you with us.
Blessings,
Faith Goldy
P.S. Please fight against the addition of a blasphemy law into Canada. Go to www.FreedomToOffend.com and sign and share our petition.

An Urgent Warning To All Canadians...
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I feel the need to share something with you.
Yes, to everyone in the world, but mainly to my fellow Canadians.
A Facebook (FB) person posted on a group page I'm a member of, this YouTube video entitled, An Urgent Warning To All Canadians: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WaWfr-8gyDk. Please watch/listen to it.
Hopefully, you did watch/listen to it. It wasn't long.
However, the speaker did speak truth about what is happening here in Canada. About what is hurting our country.
Our Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau is hurting Canada in a major way.
Definitely financially. Just as the speaker mentioned.
After all, our 2017 Canadian Federal budget has increased our deficit by $28.5B. That's 28.5 billion dollars more in debt. Here's a link to check it out: http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/federal-budget-highlights-2017-1.4032898.
He also spoke about how we are losing everything, including our Freedom, since our government has removed our Freedom of Speech.
I must admit, I agree with the speaker, in every way I heard him speak about.
Hurting us Canadians, isn't good.
Justin Trudeau shouldn't be doing this. But, he is. He's doing wrong.
Thinking about this, brought to mind, Colossians 3:25, "But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons."
Even though today's Bible verse isn't really meant for what Justin Trudeau has done, it truly applies.
He's shown no respect of persons. He has done much to us, that which is wrong.
For this, we need to forgive him... even if we don't agree with what he's done.
Plus, we need to pray for him.
I have.
Have you?
Hopefully, you have. If you haven't yet, please do so as soon as possible.
Then, God will bless you.
Until next time...

None!
Once again, I'll be saying on Life with Lynnie (LwL) that today is our Lord's Day!
It's when we need to worship Him. Honour Him. And, show our love to Him.
Of course, in addition to doing all that, I enjoy worshipping through music.
The music I am sharing with you today, is sung by Don Moen and is entitled, There Is None Like You. Here is a link, so you can listen to and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPtSTpAba4w. The lyrics are below.
There Is None Like You
There is none like You
No one else can touch my heart like You do
I could search for all eternity long
And find there is none like You
There is none like You
No one else can touch my heart like You do
I could search for all eternity long
And find there is none like You
Your mercy flows like a river so wide
Healing comes from Your hand
Suffering children are safe in Your arms
There is none like You
There is none like You
No one else can touch my heart like You do
I could search for all eternity long
And find there is none like You
I could search for all eternity long
And find... there is none
There is none
There is none
There is none
Like You
There is truly none like Him.
Thinking of this, brought to mind Jeremiah 10:6, "Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O Lord; thou art great, and thy name is great in might."
Amen! There is none like You, Lord! You are great and Your name is great in might.
Just as the lyrics say, my heart is touched by Him.
There is no greater love, than the love we can have from Him.
As I'm sure you can see... I love Him.
Do you love Him?
If not, come to know Him today, by gaining salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Tomorrow, may be too late.
Until next time...

Amen...
Guess what I'll discuss here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) today?
You may think I'll discuss movies. If you thought this, you were correct!
Here's some I've watched:
* Who's Minding The Store, starring Jerry Lewis, Agnes Moorehead, Jill St. John and more actors. If you'd like to check out this comedy film, click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Who%27s_Minding_the_Store%3F. I must admit, that even though there was some stress in this movie, I enjoyed it.
* The Freshman, starring Marlon Brando, Matthew Broderick and more actors. Click here to check out this crime comedy film: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Freshman_(1990_film). To be honest, I didn't find this to be much of a comedy film; it seemed more like a crime film. Still, I enjoyed seeing it.
* One More Time, starring Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford and more actors. Check out this comedy film, by clicking on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_More_Time_(1970_film). I didn't find this to be much comedy, considering there was a murder. However, knowing some names were... Salt and Pepper, I thought that was cute!
* Pulp, starring Michael Caine, Mickey Rooney and more actors. To check out this comedy thriller film, click here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pulp_(1972_film). Even though some of this seemed like it should be comedy, it was truly more of a thriller, to me.
* As Good as It Gets, starring Jack Nicholson, Helen Hunt and more actors. Would you like to check out this romantic comedy film? If so, click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/As_Good_as_It_Gets. Knowing there were troubles, I didn't find this movie true comedy. But, I did see some romance in it.
Even though these movies were supposed to be comedy films, I noticed that there was much suffering.
Of course, our lives are truly not much different. We seem to suffer during parts of our lives, as well.
Thinking of this, brought to mind, Romans 8:18, "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us."
The sufferings we go through are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us... just as we read in today's Bible verse.
Amen...
Yes, we suffer.
But, God helps us through each trial we experience in our lives.
Through Him, glory is revealed in us, for people can see how we manage to deal with those issues in life that aren't easy to deal with.
Well, this is true... as long as you belong to Him.
I do.
Do you?
Are you trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ? If so, you've gained salvation, and will spend eternity in Heaven with him, once your life here on earth ends.
By gaining salvation, you've become part of His family. And, people will see glory in you, when you deal with trials in life.
For this, I'm thankful. And, always will be.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...

Truth!
There's something I feel I need to tell you about, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL). So, I will.
Msn.com posted an article with a video on the internet, by Sky News that was entitled, Paris airport attacker shouted: 'I'm here to die for Allah - there will be deaths': http://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/world/paris-airport-attacker-shouted-im-here-to-die-for-allah-there-will-be-deaths/ar-BBylk6m?li=AAadgLE&ocid=spartandhp.
Hopefully, you clicked on that link, and read the article that I just shared with you.
If you did, you'll know that it said to us (I copied/pasted):
A radicalised Muslim on a crime watchlist opened fire on three police officers at a road check before attacking a soldier at a Paris airport.
Wow!
To me, this was truly terrible. Especially since this Muslim man shot a policewoman in the head, stole a woman's car, and also assaulted three (3) counter-terrorism soldiers of France.
Why?
Well, the article says that this Muslim man was radicalised. He was a radical?
Sigh...
This truly upsets me, whenever I hear that a Muslim who attacks people are radical.
I believe that this not true. I believe there is no such thing as a radical Muslim.
Why?
Well, as I've said in the past, each and every Muslim are taught the same things by their Imams (Islamic pastors/priests/ministers). And, through their holy books, including the Qur'an.
Does this mean that every Muslim has been attacking? No.
This means that just like there are people who consider themselves to be Christians don't do what our God wants them to do. Not all Muslims are doing what their god wants them to do.
But, those who ARE doing what their satanic god wants them to do, are attacking.
As I've said in the past, their god... is not our Christian God. Their god is satanic... is of the devil.
Just as we read, in John 8:44, "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it."
Unfortunately, the Islamic god of Muslims is of the devil. He was a murderer and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
My friend, please accept the truth about Islam.
Please, don't be angry with Muslims. They don't have any idea who God truly is.
Nor, has Islam ever accepted Jesus as being everyone's Lord, and Saviour. They are only taught that Jesus was a prophet. They are not taught that Jesus is God's Son, who came to fulfill the plan of redemption that God our Father, created.
Please, do what God would have you do.
Plant those seeds for Muslims and any/every other unbeliever, so they will come to Christ to gain salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.
And, pray.
By doing this, you will be honouring Him.
And, He'll bless you.
Until next time...

First!
Today, I'm sharing something with you, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).
It doesn't relate to any of the people I mentioned I saw at the funeral service. However, it is regarding the brother in the Lord, who had been the pastor at that church where I had worshipped with many of those people, for 19 years.
No, I didn't see him at the funeral service.
However, he and I are friends on Facebook (FB). And, every now and then we either speak by phone, or chat on FB.
During our conversation, I had let him know that I truly felt sick about what my provincial government has done, by taking away some of our Freedom. By taking away some of our Freedom of Speech.
Yes, he and his family lived here in Windsor, for many years. And, he had been born here, as far as I know.
However, he also lived in USA for part of his life, was educated there, and is now living in the state of Michigan, USA with his family. And, he's the pastor at a church, there... just as I've mentioned in the past.
His response to me wasn't that I should be supportive of what our provincial government has done, and what our federal government is also doing to remove our Freedom of Speech.
He let me know that I should continue speaking truth. Just as I've done here on LwL in the past... regarding Islam. And, have done on FB. Just so you know, I've done it by speaking to people, as well, just as he knew.
Instead of feeling sick in my heart, when I read what he told me, I began feeling good, again.
You see, it had been on my heart and mind, that I needed to not just do what most people think we need to do, by placing our government first in our lives. Even though Jesus said to give to Caesar what is due to Caesar.
I felt in my heart that I needed to place God first.
Just as we read, in Mark 12:30, "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment."
I love the Lord my God with all my heart, and with all my soul, and with all my mind and with all my strength. This is the first commandment that we are to live by.
By thinking about this, I realized that I need to not do what my secular government has insisted needs to be done.
Instead, I realized that I truly need to keep God first and foremost in my life.
I need to do the work for Him. I believe I need to do what He would have me do, as I've done in the past.
After thinking and praying, I want you to know that I said to that pastor friend of mine, that even though I realize that at some point in my life, I may be arrested for not doing what my Canadian government wants me to do, I will do what God wants me to do.
I will again speak truth.
Not to hurt Muslims.
I will speak truth about Islam, so that people can know the truth about what Muslims are taught. And, what some of them are doing, in order to fulfill what their satanic god wants them to do.
My friend, please... pray for me. Just as I pray for you.
If you do, I will be forever thankful.
And, God will bless you.

Let...
Hopefully, you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday.
If you did, you'll know that I attended a funeral service for someone I knew. D, and his wife, D I knew for many years. We used to worship at the same church years ago.
In addition to seeing my female friend who was now a widow, I also saw some of their family. Just as I'm sure you're aware.
However, I also saw many, many, many people I know. Some I see on a fairly regular basis, but some I rarely see anymore.
After the funeral service, we all gathered in a place to sit together, and share a meal.
It was wonderful being able to speak with people I hadn't seen for a while.
It was wonderful praying for them, as well. Just as I did, mostly silently. And, just as I did, with some people, when we spoke, together.
Why did I do this?
Prayer is so very important. We must let God know what we need to pray about.
Just as we read, in Philippians 4:6, "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God."
Praying is letting God know about what our needs are. Just as we read in today's Bible verse.
My friend, do you pray?
I hope you do.
If you belong to Him, I am sure you do.
For this, you'll be blessed.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...

Care...
If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday, you'll know that I attended a seminar on Saturday, March 11th, 2017.
After the seminar was finished, we all did what we always have done in the past.
We ate lunch together. Even though the church family provided the lunch, I brought some dessert.
Not only was lunch delicious, but I enjoyed the time with my previous church family members who attended the seminar. Thank You, Lord!
Afterwards, there was something else I needed to do, that day.
I went to a funeral service. The person who had died, was a brother in the Lord, who I had known along with his wife, for many years.
I must admit, I felt both happy and sad, attending the funeral service.
It was nice to think positively and reflect upon D, who had died. It was heartbreaking for me to think of his wife, D... and his family.
After all, even though it is wonderful to know that he is now in Heaven with our Lord, it isn't easy to deal with the loss of someone you love and/or care for.
Let's face it, grief isn't easy.
But, God is good. He helps us deal with it. Especially, when we approach Him, for help.
Much like we read, in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."
I'm sure my friend and her family will cast all their care upon Him, for they realize that He cares for us.
For this, I am thankful... not just for them, but also for me. And, for you, if you feel the same way.
Of course, only those who belong to Him would feel this way. Just as I do.
Do you belong to Him?
My friend, if you don't know how to belong to Him, please realize that all you have to do is trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ... and you shall be saved (Acts 16:31).
By gaining salvation, you belong to Him.
If you haven't yet done this, please... do it, today.
Tomorrow, may be too late.

Repay?
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be letting you know about Saturday, March 11th, 2017.
Even though I was given a list of events happening where I used to worship, I hadn't planned on attending there, on Saturday, March 11th. However, something happened a day earlier that made me decide to attend the seminar that was happening that day.
You may think it's strange, but it wasn't strange to me.
I had received mail addressed to the pastor of the church group, even though my address was used. However, it was the third (3rd) year that this had happened.
Knowing that I had to bring the mail to the pastor, I decided I may as well attend the church group seminar.
Yes, I drove there. But, I didn't park in the church parking lot. Nor, did I park anywhere close by.
Why? Because I knew that the man who had done damage to my van several times, would be attending the seminar. I didn't want him to know where I parked.
Do I want to do this all the time? No.
Why not? Because, if I made a habit of doing this, the man would probably come to understand the couple of areas where I might park.
In any case, I attended the seminar which began at 10:00 a.m. What was being taught?
PREDESTINATION. In relation to the reprobate.
Elder W, lead the seminar. Of course, the pastor was there, as well, along with several of the people who always seemed to attend seminars, there. Like me.
The subject title that I quoted was what was discussed during the seminar. This referred to damnation, sin, wickedness, etc.
Believe it or not, it actually made me happy that the man was there, who damaged my van in the past. Hopefully, God is helping him to change his ways.
After all, I don't want to do anything to hurt that man. I've forgiven him. But, will never trust him.
Of course, God will deal with him. Just as He does with everyone.
Thinking of this, brought to mind, Romans 12:19, "Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord."
Yes, we need to avenge not ourselves, but give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
For this, I praise Him.
After all, He has wrath. And, has shown me and anyone who reads and accepts God's Word, the Bible, that He's in control. And, He will deal with issues that we should not deal with. Like vengeance.
For this, I am thankful. And, always will be.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...

Assurance!
Today, is a day here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), when we discuss our need to worship.
With being SONday, we need to worship God. Definitely, in spirit and in truth.
Of course, I also like to worship Him through music.
The hymn I decided to share with you today is entitled, Blessed Assurance. Here is a link for you to click on, so you can listen to and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XOv7RmXi7VE. The lyrics are below.
Blessed Assurance
Blessed Assurance, Jesus is mine
O what a foretaste of glory divine
Heir of salvation, purchased of God
Born of His Spirit, washed in His Blood
This is my story, this is my song
Praising my Savior all the day long
This is my story, this is my song
Praising my Savior all the day long
Perfect submission, perfect delight
Visions of rapture now burst on my sight
Angels descending, bring from above
Echoes of mercy, whispers of love
This is my story, this is my song
Praising my Savior all the day long
This is my story, this is my song
Praising my Savior all the day long
Perfect submission, all is at rest
I in my Savior am happy and blessed
Watching and waiting, looking above
Filled with His goodness, lost in His love
This is my story, this is my song
Praising my Savior all the day long
This is my story, this is my song
Praising my Savior all the day long
Praising my Savior all the day long
Just as the lyrics tell us, blessed assurance, Jesus is mine.
He's mine. Because I am His.
Thinking of this, brought to mind, 2 Timothy 1:9, "Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,"
We have not ever done anything within ourselves or our lives to gain salvation, other than by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Grace was given to us, long before the world began. Long before we were ever born.
He knows who will become part of His family.
I know that I've become part of His family.
Have you?
My friend, if you haven't yet come to Christ, to gain salvation, please... do so today.
Tomorrow may be too late.
Until next time...

Mystery...
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be sharing things with you, today.
What I am sharing has to do with an actor, who looks like my dad's brother. Peter Falk... looks like my uncle.
Here's a link for you to click on so you can check out Peter Falk, and see what he looks like: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Falk.
Here's another link, so you can check out how Peter Falk acted as Columbo: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Columbo.
You've probably guessed that I'm sharing movies!
Here's the movies I watched with Peter Falk as the main actor:
* Columbo. Here is a YouTube link to watch the full episode of that title: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qR7T7i-Q-ho. Yes, I was hoping to use Wikipedia, but couldn't find links under each film's name and since I found links on YouTube, I thought it might be good for you to have the links available, so you could watch it, if you like. As I'm sure you know, I enjoyed seeing this, even though it was shown as a movie, on television (TV).
* Columbo: Grand Deceptions. Here is a link where you can read about it: https://www.moviefone.com/movie/columbo-grand-deceptions/20045791/main/. Yes, I enjoyed seeing the movie on TV, but felt sad that I couldn't find a link for it.
* Columbo: Cheap Detective. Here's a link for you to check it out: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Cheap_Detective. Again, I must say that I was sorry I couldn't find a link for you to be able to watch the movie. Even so, I'm glad you could read the Wikipedia information!
* Columbo: Sex and the Married Detective. Even though I couldn't find a link for you to check it out, I found a link on YouTube, that you can watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZ0MGYh0bsg. Hopefully, you'll enjoy it!
* Columbo: Murder, Smoke and Shadows. Here's a YouTube link, for you to watch, if you want to: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FdVnKhnAW3A&t=2s. I enjoyed it!
With yesterday being St. Patrick's Day, I thought about some of my family. The part of my family that came from Ireland, where some family members still live, today.
That is why I thought of sharing these links with you, where Peter Falk played the part of Columbo.
Family, is so very important. And, so are mysteries, like what was shown on those movie/film/session links.
Of course, there is a mystery that is more important than anything else.
Thinking of this, brought to mind, 1 Timothy 3:16, "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."
Godliness is so very important. Just as we read in today's Bible verse.
God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Yes, our Lord came to earth, then died to pay the price of the sin of the world, of all who would believe upon Him, and is now in Heaven.
Because I am trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, I have gained salvation and will spend eternity with Him, in Heaven.
Will you?
If you haven't yet gained salvation, do it now. This way, you'll be with Him in Heaven, like I will be.
Don't put it off. Do it, today.
Tomorrow may be too late.
Until next time...

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'd like to share something with you. It relates to the Republic of Ireland.
On the day of New Year's Eve, 2016... some music touched my heart and mind. I couldn't stop thinking and singing it.
Knowing that my granny came from Northern Ireland, I doubt if she would have sung this. However, if she were alive today, and understood that the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland were far more peaceful than in the past, she may have.
So, I decided to share it with you on the day when the Republic of Ireland celebrates St. Patrick's Day.
The song is by James Royce Shannon and is entitled, Too-Ra-Loo-Ra-Loo-Ra. Here is a link for you to listen to and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aw9B49epS_M. The lyrics are below.
Too-Ra-Loo-Ra-Loo-Ra
Too ra loo ra loo ra
Too ra loo ra li
Too ra loo ra loo ra
Hush now, don't you cry
Too ra loo ra loo ra
Too ra loo ra li
Too ra loo ra loo ra
That's an Irish lullaby
These lyrics show it is an Irish way of loving family... and others.
Thinking of this, made me think of 1 John 4:7, "Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God."
Just as we read in today's Bible verse, we need to love one another, for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
So, let us all love each other.
Knowing that in the past, there wasn't love and/or peace between the Republic of Ireland, and Northern Ireland, I am truly happy that today's lifestyle and environment is different.
Yes, I've been in both the Republic and Northern Ireland. And, I must admit, I truly love the whole island... of Ireland (at least, all of which I've seen!).
So, now I will wish all from the Republic of Ireland... Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Until next time...

In The Past...
Today, I'll be discussing something here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).
It's something that many people would not really be focusing on. But, I am.
What is it?
On Monday, March 13th, I heard on the news that Scotland is hoping to remain as part of Europe, even though the United Kingdom (UK) has not. Just as I heard about last year.
Here is a link to an article by cnn.com entitled, Brexit: Bill sent back to House of Lords: http://www.cnn.com/2017/03/13/europe/brexit-article-50-parliament/.
If you read it, you'll have seen this (I copied/pasted):
"It will be Scotland's choice and I trust the people of Scotland to make that choice."
Sturgeon said she wanted the referendum to take place between late 2018 and early 2019, before Brexit negotiations are completed. That would enable her to argue that Scotland should stay in the EU as the rest of the UK left.
This may not affect many of you who read about this. But, it does upset me.
I'm sure you think it is funny that it upsets me, since I am Canadian. But, it does.
UK is three-quarters (3/4) of my heritage. Yes, I don't live there, but I do have relatives who do.
My mom's parents were both from England. My dad's mom was from Northern Ireland and his dad (my grandpa) was from Bukovina which is known today as Ukraine (and Romania).
My granny from Northern Ireland's dad was from Glasgow, Scotland. Even though I haven't met relatives there, I know there are some.
Of course, there's another person in my life that is very important.
My friend, I... was from Glasgow, Scotland. After her parents died, he older sister and brother-in-law who were newly married, brought her to Canada.
How long ago? 50 years ago!
They all became Canadian citizens. However, like me, our heritage was mainly from the UK.
Things are truly changing in this world.
What am I referring to?
Well, it breaks my heart that Scotland wants to separate from being part of the UK.
Just as my heart has felt broken over and over again in the past, that our Canadian Province of Quebec, has wanted to separate from Canada. Voting has almost made it happen in the past. And, now that our Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau is hurting Canada badly, I believe he's doing so to help make Quebec separate from Canada, just as he wanted it to, in the past.
What I can I do about any of this?
All I can do, is speak truth, pray, and seek God to help.
By speaking truth, being humble and praying, I am doing what God would have me do. For He has told us to do this, in various Bible verses.
Just as we read, in 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
Yes, He wants us... His people, which are called by His name to humble ourselves, pray and seek His face and turn from our wicked ways; then, He will hear from heaven and will forgive our sin, and will heal our land.
My friend, please do this, for Canada, Scotland/UK, and your country if it isn't them.
We all need to do what God wants us to.
I will.
Will you?
Hopefully, so. Please, pray.
For if we all do, He will our lands.
For this I'll always be thankful!
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...

Are You?
Today, I'll be telling you about something, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).
It isn't about me. Nor, is it about anything going on in the world at this time.
My aunt, N telephoned me last Tuesday, March 7th, 2017. We hadn't spoken for just over a month, before that.
It was nice to hear from my aunt. I was glad to hear she was feeling okay.
She was glad to hear about me being healed from the abscess surgery. And, let me know that she's praying for my family, and me.
This is really heartwarming to hear from my aunt. She was actually my God-mother, from when I was christened as an infant.
Of course, I let her know that I pray for her. And, for her family members.
Something was discussed that was upsetting to me.
My aunt told me that my cousin, C... died on February 10th. Hearing this, took my breathe away for a moment.
Sigh...
Aunt N let me know this because she knew that I hadn't heard about C's death. So, she explained what happened.
I must admit, it made me sad, hearing about my cousin C's death.
The only thing I can say, is that I hope my cousin had been trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ. For, if my cousin did, she would now be in Heaven, with our Lord.
Yes, I realize that there are many people who consider themselves to be Christian, even though they may not truly be.
Some people feel their family is Christian. But, they don't worship, don't read God's Word, the Bible and don't commit themselves to our Lord.
Did my cousin? Only God knows.
It had been several years since I had seen her. And, at the time, she didn't seem like a born again Christian, even though she considered herself to be Christian. Hopefully, she was.
Why do I think that there is a possibility that my cousin C, isn't in Heaven? As I said, I don't know that she was born again.
We need to be born again. Just as our Lord told us.
Thinking of this brought to mind, John 3:3, "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
Yes, Jesus said that except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. When the word 'man' is used, it refers to people in general.
So, anyone who wants to see the kingdom of God, or be in it, needs to be born again. And, must be. Just as Jesus told us.
What is it that needs to be done, to be born again?
A person needs to gain salvation, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.
So many people today, don't even read God's Word, the Bible, or do what is needed to become saved.
This means they don't gain salvation. And, won't spend eternity with Him, in the kingdom of God... Heaven.
I've done this. I'm born again.
Are you?
If you haven't yet come to Christ to gain salvation, please... do so today.
Tomorrow may be too late.
Until next time...

Prayer Request...
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be discussing something I received by mail, last week.
Before I explain, I should let you know that I receive mail, and prayer requests from various Christian groups. Each group does work for God, in various places in the world.
The mail I received last week, was from Far East Broadcasting Co. of Canada (FEBC), which is a non-profit ministry and a member of Evangelical Council of Financial Accountability. Here is a link for you to check it out: http://www.febcanada.org/international/index.html.
If you looked at the link, you'll know it says at the beginning (I copied/pasted):
Through radio and internet broadcasts, the international radio ministry overcomes all natural and man-made barriers of isolation, persecution, and distance ... over 100 languages, from more than 40 transmitters around the world.
In the past, before I had all the surgeries over the past few years, I had been invited to attend a dinner held to introduce FEBC and to incline people to support the group. Which, I did.
Since then, I receive information by mail.
The mail I received last week was entitled: FEBC Russian Ministries UPDATE Saving lives in Ukraine.
I praise God for the work FEBC does around the world. And, for what they do in Russia, and in Ukraine.
Please know that people in Russia, and in Ukraine are important to me. Much like everyone else in the world. fam
Not just because my grandfather originally came from Bukovina, which became part of Romania (where some family lived) and Ukraine (where it showed my grandfather came from). But, also because people from everywhere in the world are important to me.
There's another reason that people from Russia and Ukraine are important to me.
Even though I only have 49 followers listed here on LwL, in my back office where I write and schedule each blog posting, the google system shows me how many people read LwL each day. While it doesn't tell me who the people are, and I don't have any links to them, the system shows me the number of people who read it. It shows several hundred on somedays; more or less, on other days. But, it tells me people are from the top 10 countries.
Usually, USA is the top country, then Canada. However, many other countries are actually leaders in who reads LwL, from time to time.
Many people who read LwL are from Russia. Many are from Ukraine. And, many are from other countries, as well.
Please know that I pray for everyone who reads LwL. And, I thank each of you.
So, I'll ask you to please pray for everyone around the world, who reads LwL. Not to help me. I don't get paid for doing this work for my Lord.
Pray, to help each person reading, who may or may not need support in being encouraged. Or, who may need to gain salvation, by coming to understand to come to know and love Jesus; by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ (Acts 16:31).
As I said previously, I pray for everyone. Everywhere.
Much like we read in 1 Timothy 2:1, "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;"
Just as we read in today's Bible verse, it is exhorted that supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks, be made for all men. When it says men, it is referring to all people, not just males.
I give thanks to each and every person who reads LwL. And, who e-mails me and lets me know that they are being encouraged, etc.
For those I don't hear from, I pray, also. And, always will.
Please, join me in prayer.
People in various countries need to be prayed for.
Thank you for praying.
May God bless you.
Until next time...

The Door's Open...
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be sharing something you need to know about.
If you've been reading LwL lately, you'll be aware that our Ontario provincial government has removed some of our Freedom. Our Freedom of Speech.
This was done recently, and now our Federal Canadian government is moving on to do the same thing. Just as I was told by Rona Ambrose, the leader of our Conservative Party for our nation; I shared what she said, on Friday, March 10th. So, if you want to see what she said, please read it.
Hopefully, you read it, for if you did, you'll see that our country is being changed. Truly changed.
By the Freedom of Speech being removed from anyone who isn't Islamic, I have believed it would open the door for Muslims to begin major efforts here in Canada to convert everyone to Islam.
Did it take long for me to see that what I thought was revealed to me by God? No. It has truly begun.
Anyone in the world can read my LwL blog entries, since it is posted online. Being on Facebook (FB) and sharing my LwL entries, opens the door for anyone to comment without e-mailing me.
Before our Freedom of Speech was removed, I hadn't been approached by Muslims on my wall/timeline.
However, now that our Freedom of Speech was removed, I have now begun to be approached by Muslims.
Why do I think this?
Because a Muslim, who was not a FB friend of mine, posted a comment on my link to LwL on FB.
Here's what was said and done by both of us (I copied/pasted):

Surrender...
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'm letting you know about today. It's our Lord's Day!
We need to worship Him. And, honour Him, in various ways.
As I'm sure you know, I enjoy using music to worship and honour Him.
The hymn I'm sharing with you is entitled, All To Jesus I Surrender. Here is a link for you to listen to it and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7x2IpLSfqp8. The lyrics are below.
All To Jesus I Surrender
All to Jesus I surrender
All to Him I freely give
I will ever love and trust Him
In His presence daily live
I surrender all
I surrender all
All to Thee my Blessed Savior
I surrender all
All to Jesus I surrender
Make me Savior wholly thine
Let me feel the Holy Spirit
Truly know that Thou art mine
I surrender all
I surrender all
All to Thee my Blessed Savior
I surrender all
All to Jesus I surrender
Lord, I give myself to Thee
Fill me with Thy love and power
Let Thy blessings fall on me
I surrender all
I surrender all
All to Thee my Blessed Savior
I surrender all
Yes, I surrender all. And, have for a very long time.
Just as God has told us to do.
Normally, I use the King James Version (KJV) for Bible verses, but today I am using God's Word translation (GW), for part of Psalm 37:7, "Surrender yourself to the Lord, and wait patiently for him...", because it actually uses the word... surrender.
Each of us need to surrender to our Blessed Savior. To our Lord, Jesus Christ.
By trusting in/believing upon Him, we gain salvation (Acts 16:31) and will spend eternity in Heaven with God.
I am thankful He loved us so much that He provided this for us. And, I always will be thankful.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...

Forever...
Once again, I'll be sharing things with you, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).
What is it I'm sharing?
Movies!
Here are some I've watched:
* The Whistle Blower, starring Michael Caine, James Fox and many other actors. Click on this link, to check out this spy thriller film: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Whistle_Blower. Even thought this movie involved death, I enjoyed it.
* In Like Flint, starring James Coburn, Lee J. Cobb and other actors. If you'd like to check out this spy film, click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_Like_Flint. Even though this is a spy film, I enjoyed it.
* ...And Justice For All, starring Al Pacino, Jack Warden and other actors. Click on this link, if you'd like to check out this courtroom drama film: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...And_Justice_for_All_(film). This movie contained a lot of stress, but I was happy to see it.
* Dillinger, starring Lawrence Tierney, Anne Jeffreys and other actors. Want to check out this gangster film? If so, click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dillinger_(1945_film). This movie sure involved a lot of sin, but it was good to watch.
* Warning Shot, starring David Janssen, Joan Collins and other actors. To check out this film about a killing, click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warning_Shot, Even though this movie involved a death, I found it to be good, since truth had to be proven.
Since there was evilness in each of these movies, they made me think about how life isn't easy and can sometimes be evil.
But, God is good.
Thinking of this brought to mind, John 3:36, "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."
Yes, God is so good, that He provided for us, by letting us know that he that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
As I've said in the past, in order to be able to have eternal life with God in Heaven, we need to gain salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.
However, if you haven't gained salvation, it won't happen.
You won't spend eternity with God, in Heaven.
Instead, you'll experience the wrath of God. And, will spend eternity in Hell, separated from God, with no chance of escape.
What have you done?
What will you do?
Decide today to come to Christ and gain salvation.
Hopefully, I'll see you some day, in Heaven.
Until next time...

Perilous!
Hopefully, you read Life with Lynnie (LwL), yesterday.
If you did, you'll know that I've had trouble sleeping due to being stressed. Stressed by what my Province of Ontario government did, to take away some of our Freedom, by taking away some of our Freedom of Speech.
In the past, I wrote a couple LwL entries asking fellow Canadians to contact government representatives before the M-103 amendment was to be done, in late February.
Hopefully, some people did what I did. But, even if they did, nothing was done to support us.
In my opinion, not even by our Federal government representatives, as well as by our Provincial government reps.
Why do I think this?
Well, as you've probably read, I am not in support of our Canadian Prime Minister, Liberal Justin Trudeau. Nor, am I in support of our Provincial Liberal Premier Kathleen Wynne. I believe that both are hurting not only us residents, but are hurting our future in both our province and our country.
Especially since they are working together to remove some of our Freedom, by removing our Freedom of Speech.
Okay. You probably think I'm referring to what our provincial government did in February, 2017. But, I'm also referring to what's happening and hasn't yet completed, through our federal government.
How do I know this?
As I previously suggested that people needed to e-mail and/or contact in any way and speak up against us losing our Freedom of Speech, I did.
From Justin Trudeau's office, I only received an e-mail response that they received my message.
However, I also received an e-mail from the group Leader of the Official Opposition of Justin Trudeau's group.
Yes, the response was in regards to our Federal Government. Not, our Provincial Government.
Rona Ambrose, leader of the Conservative party, responded to me by e-mail. She let me know that she was also in support of M - 103... which would remove some of our Freedom of Speech... but... only if there were a few changes made before the voting was done.
How do I know this? I'll share with you what she e-mailed me (I copied/pasted):
I realize that M-103 is a divisive motion, and I have indicated that I would be open to supporting it if amendments were introduced. If not, I will be voting against M-103 as it is currently worded. For the rest of the Conservative Caucus, this motion will be a free vote.
Sigh...
Even though after stating this, she thanked me for taking the time to share my thoughts on this important matter, I truly felt sick in my heart.
Why?
This means that M - 103 will eventually remove Freedom, by removing Freedom of Speech for not just us in the province of Ontario... but, for... EVERYONE living in Canada!
To be honest, I was truly shocked reading this.
After all, the Conservatives are not usually thinking along with what the Liberals think. But, Rona Ambrose let me know that she actually does.
This was shocking to me. After all, I've voted for the Conservative party in the past.
Now, I'm going to ask you to pray. After all, this is truly dangerous for us Canadians.
Thinking of this, brought to mind 2 Timothy 3:1, "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come."
Yes, we need to know also, that in the last days, perilous times shall come.
Perilous... is dangerous.
I believe we are definitely in last days. In what is also called... end times.
Prayer is so very important.
Thank you for praying.
May God bless you.
Until next time...
