Before you begin reading today's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, I'd like to wish you... Happy Groundhog Day!
If you read LwL yesterday, you'll know that I told you about the song that was on my heart and mind. If you recall it, you'll know it was... Vive La Compagnie.
When I awoke with that song on my heart and mind, I knew almost immediately why it was there.
I believe God was letting me know that I needed to try and have a friendship renewed. A friendship that seemed to fall apart over the last few months.
On the same day that Vive La Compagnie was on my heart and mind, something happened. A relative of mine, and I both went to a Tim Hortons coffee shop, many hours later... in the evening of that day.
While there, I saw my friend's boyfriend. Knowing the problem I have had was with both my friend and this fellow, I decided to go over and say 'hi' to him.
So, I did.
We spoke for a couple minutes. However, nothing was truly said that I felt would help re-open the friend-relationship. Still, I felt there was no hatred, there... from either of us.
For that, I praise God.
After all, God is in control. And, loves us.
I believe He will re-open the friendship that was virtually destroyed. Yes, I am trusting Him for this.
After all, in my heart, I would like to have the friendship, again.
Why? Because, I truly loved my friend.
Just as God told us we should, in 1 John 4:11, "Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another."
Yes, since God loves us, we ought also to love one another.
And, I must admit, that even if I am upset about anything in my life, I do what I can to love others. Including my friend who doesn't seem to love me, anymore.
Love is so important. Even with a friend.
Please know that even though I don't know you, I consider you a friend for reading and/or following LwL.
So, please know that I pray for you, because I love what you do. And, love you as my friend.
May God bless you.
Until next time...
