The Hardest...

I'll be discussing something, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) today, that has been important to me for quite a while.

While I won't discuss an issue, I can say that I'm referring to some music/lyrics that have been in my heart and mind, for several weeks now.

Yes, I've had it resonating within me when I wake up.  Plus, it has been so much on my heart and mind, that I've not just thought of it, through the day.

I've actually been singing it, over and over... and over, again.

It's by Elton John, and is entitled, Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word.  Here is a link for you to click on, to be able to hear it and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5w142CaROC0.  The lyrics are below.

Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word

What have I got to do to make you love me
What have I got to do to make you care
What do I do when lightning strikes me
And I wake to find that you're not there

What do I do to make you want me
What have I got to do to be heard
What do I say when it's all over
Sorry seems to be the hardest word

It's sad, so sad
It's a sad, sad situation
And it's getting more and more absurd
It's sad, so sad
Why can't we talk it over
Oh it seems to me
That sorry seems to be the hardest word

It's sad, so sad
It's a sad, sad situation
And it's getting more and more absurd
It's sad, so sad
Why can't we talk it over
Oh it seems to me
That sorry seems to be the hardest word

What do I do to make you love me
What have I got to do to be heard
What do I do when lightning strikes me
What have I got to do
What have I got to do
When sorry seems to be the hardest word

Yes, when there's a problem, sorry seems to be the hardest word.  At least, for some people.

By not saying they are sorry, makes life hard.  And, by any of us not saying we are sorry, means that we have sinned.

Some people don't really believe that all have sinned.  But, it is true.

Just as we read, in Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"

All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

God doesn't want us to be sinners.

He wants us to gain salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, so that we become a child of His.

Then, in addition, He wants us to repent.

We need to repent.  And, stop sinning.

By doing this, we are then cleaned out... totally.

Have you done this?

I have.

Hopefully, you have.  If so, then someday after our lives end here on earth, we'll see each other in Heaven.  And, spend eternity there, with Him.

If you haven't yet done this, please do so, today.  Tomorrow, may be too late.

Until next time...
