Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I want to thank people who know me personally. Or, those who are friends of mine, on Facebook (FB).
Why?
Well, if you are aware of what happened that affected me and other family members, you'll know that my oldest daughter, B... had become a missing person around noon of Saturday, January 14th, 2017.
I wasn't aware of this, until Sunday, January 15th, 2017. And, felt rather stressed.
Why am I happy for friends of mine?
I contacted personal friends. Then, I posted on FB to let people know about how my daughter, B was missing.
What did I post about?
It wasn't that I wanted people to know that my daughter, B was missing. I wanted people to support her and I, and pray for her to be found.
I must admit, it was such a blessing that so many people prayed.
It was even more of a blessing, to realize that people truly were concerned, and shared my postings. Plus, some people shared postings of some other people who were requesting prayer, also.
Prayer is so very important.
God already knows our needs. Even before we pray.
But, He wants us to speak up, to Him and pray.
Just as we read, in Mark 11:24, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."
As you can see/read, we need to not just pray. We need to believe that when we pray, we will receive what we are praying for, and shall have it.
Just as what happened for all the prayer requests done on FB for my daughter, B.
You see, two and a half days later... about midnight on Monday, January 16th, 2017 (within a couple minutes of becoming Tuesday, January 17th, 2017), my daughter, B was not just found.
B was picked up and brought home.
Just so you know, I received a phone call, where I learned this was happening. Then, within a couple minutes later, the police phoned me, and told me the same thing that I had just heard from a family member.
For this, I must say that I am truly thankful.
And, always will be.
Definitely, to you, and anyone else who shared the prayer requests, and to all who prayed. May God bless each of you!
But, of course, I am truly thankful to our Lord... who answered the prayer, in a positive way.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...
