It's our day of worship!
In addition to worshipping in spirit and in truth, I enjoy worshipping through the use of music.
There is a hymn that I thought would be good to share, today.
The hymn is entitled, We've a Story to Tell to the Nations. Here is a link, for you to listen to and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZ7GNSgF7rE. The lyrics are below.
We've a Story to Tell to the Nations
We've a story to tell to the nations,
That shall turn their hearts to the right,
A story of truth and mercy,
A story of peace and light,
A story of peace and light.
For the darkness shall turn to dawning,
And the dawning to noonday bright;
And Christ's great kingdom shall come on earth,
The kingdom of love and light.
We've a song to be sung to the nations,
That shall lift their hearts to the Lord,
A song that shall conquer evil
And shatter the spear and sword,
And shatter the spear and sword.
For the darkness shall turn to dawning,
And the dawning to noonday bright;
And Christ's great kingdom shall come on earth,
The kingdom of love and light.
And the dawning to noonday bright;
And Christ's great kingdom shall come on earth,
The kingdom of love and light.
We've a message to give to the nations,
That the Lord who reigns up above
Has sent us His Son to save us,
And show us that God is love,
And show us that God is love.
For the darkness shall turn to dawning,
And the dawning to noonday bright;
And Christ's great kingdom shall come on earth,
The kingdom of love and light.
We've a Saviour to show to the nations,And the dawning to noonday bright;
And Christ's great kingdom shall come on earth,
The kingdom of love and light.
Who the path of sorrow has trod,
That all of the world's great peoples
May come to the truth of God,
May come to the truth of God.
For the darkness shall turn to dawning,
And the dawning to noonday bright;
And Christ's great kingdom shall come on earth,
The kingdom of love and light.
And the dawning to noonday bright;
And Christ's great kingdom shall come on earth,
The kingdom of love and light.
Yes, we've a story, a song, and a message to give to the nations. For God is love. And, we have a Saviour.
Just as we heard/saw in the lyrics.
Thinking of this, brought to mind, 1 John 4:9, "In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him."
God's love for us, was so special!
He loved us so very much, that He sent His only begotten Son, into the world, that we might live through Him.
Hallelujah!
All anyone needs to do, to gain salvation, is to trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ (Acts 16:11). Then, when their life ends here on earth, they will spend eternity in Heaven!
I've done this.
Have you?
If not, do it today.
Tomorrow, may be too late.
Until next time...
