Once again, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be stating that today is a day when we need to worship God.
It is just a day, of many days, like every day when we need to worship. But today, is a day when many people worship together.
In addition to worshipping in spirit and in truth, music is important. For we can worship Him, through it.
I'm sharing with you music entitled, Great And Mighty Is The Lord Our God. Click on this link, if you'd like to listen and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qWkt4OIff7c. The lyrics are below.
Great And Mighty Is The Lord Our God
Great and mighty is the Lord our God
Great and mighty is He
Great and mighty is the Lord our God
Great and mighty is He
Lift up your banner, let the anthems rise
To Christ our king.
Great and mighty is the Lord our God
Great and mighty is HeYou are the words and the music
You are the song that I sing
You are the melody
You are the harmony
Praises to Your name I will sing
You are the mighty God
You are the Lord of Lords
You are the King of all Kings
Now I return to You
The song that You gave to me
You are the song that I sing
Great and mighty is the Lord our God
Great and mighty is He
Great and mighty is the Lord our God
Great and mighty is He
Lift up your banner, let the anthems rise
To Christ our king.
Great and mighty is the Lord our God
Great and mighty is He
The lyrics tell us that Jesus Christ is the Lord of Lords. And, our great God.
Thinking of this, brought to mind, Deuteronomy 10:17, "For the Lord your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:"
The Lord your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty and terrible, which regardeth not persons nor taketh reward.
This tells us that He loves us all.
He doesn't like some of us, more than others.
He loved us all, that He came to earth to fulfill God the Father's plan of redemption for us... to give us salvation by trusting in/believing upon Him.
For this, I will always be thankful.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...
