Once in a while, I'll discuss something here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), that is of danger to people. I'm doing it, today.
Before I approach the discussion, I'd like to thank my daughter, P. She actually came across the article I'll be sharing with you, and shared it with me, on Facebook (FB). Thank you, P!
Here is the article by windsorstar.com entitled, Infection risk warning, 2 years after open-heart surgery, 'makes you worry': http://windsorstar.com/news/local-news/infection-risk-warning-2-years-after-open-heart-surgery-makes-you-worry?utm_medium=Social&utm_campaign=Echobox&utm_source=Facebook&utm_term=Autofeed#link_time=1484351720.
If you read the article, you'll know that the person involved in the article was warned about receiving infection, after having surgery.
There's a couple of things I need to say about the article. One, I'll discuss today. The other, tomorrow.
First, I need to say that the man who was interviewed regarding the problem and was talked about in the article, was a relative of mine. Sort of.
He's the brother of my now deceased husband, Gordon. So, he was my brother-in-law.
To be honest, it was shocking to find out about the issue. And, I feel really badly for him.
But, I have prayed for him... since I heard that he had heart surgery.
It's upsetting for anyone to receive information regarding receiving infection, after having surgery... of any kind. And, can make a person feel sad.
I'm grateful he hasn't had infection. And, I will continue praying for him. I pray God will prevent him from having any infection problem.
Why will I pray?
Prayer is needed. Especially, since we are praying and asking Him to help us.
Thinking of this, brought to mind 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."
It's so important to pray, for when we cast our care upon Him, He careth for us.
Yes, we need to love Him. Honour Him. And, glorify Him.
But, we also need to trust Him, to help us, when we ask Him for help.
Once we've become His family member, He will always care for us.
Have you become His family member?
I have.
All anyone needs to do, is to trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, and they shall be saved (Acts 16:31).
If you've gained salvation, then I'll be happy to some day see you in Heaven, after our lives here on earth end.
Until next time...
