Dad & M. CHRISTmas, Again!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'm letting you know that today is a very special day.

To me, for a couple of reasons.  To others, just for one (1) reason.

My heart realizes this is a special day, because if my dad were alive, today would be his birthday.  I must admit, I miss him.  And, I feel sad that there's no reason to celebrate his birth, even though I love him.

My other reason for today being special, is the same for some other people.

Some people celebrate CHRISTmas, today!

If you read LwL yesterday, you'll know that I discussed how some people celebrate Jesus' birth, on January 6th.

However, some people celebrate January 6th as being CHRISTmas Eve!  Then, celebrate CHRISTmas Day, on January 7th.  Today!

Many people who celebrate Jesus' birthday today, are also from eastern Europe, or from part of Asia.

Plus there's another date in January when some people celebrate His birth!  If you read the article  I posted on yesterday's LwL entry, you'll know that there was information about this.

No matter when Jesus was born, it touches my heart that people want to celebrate His birth.  Hallelujah!

Yes, it's important Jesus came to earth to fulfill God the Father's plan of redemption for us!

By this happening, it also confirmed what the Old Testament of the Bible showed us.  It fulfilled, prophecy.

Just as we read, in Isaiah 9:6, "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."

Yes, Jesus' birth was so very important.  Just as we read in today's Bible verse.

As you're probably aware, I celebrate Jesus' birth on December 25th, like many people in the world do.  However, on a personal level, I celebrate His birth... every day.

After all, He is important.  To me.  To you.  To everyone... who gains salvation, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

But, to those who are celebrating Jesus' birthday today, I wish you...
Merry CHRISTmas!

Until next time...
