I Love Him...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll once again be addressing the issue of our Lord Jesus' birth.

Worshipping is so very important.  As you know, I enjoy worshipping through music.

Even though I am Canadian, when I first came to know Jesus as a young child, I was living in Detroit, Michigan, USA.

I recall hearing and learning to sing Away In A Manger.  Here is a link for you to listen to and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2ULTkNmIEY .  The lyrics are below.

Away In A Manger

Away in a manger
No crib for His bed
The little Lord Jesus
Laid down His sweet head
The stars in the sky
Look down where He lay
The little Lord Jesus
Asleep on the hay

The cattle are lowing
The poor baby wakes
But little Lord Jesus
No crying He makes
I love Thee, Lord Jesus
Look down from the sky
And stay by my side
'Til morning is night

Be near me, Lord Jesus
I ask Thee to stay
Close by me forever
And love me I pray
Bless all the dear children
In Thy tender care
And take us to Heaven
To live with Thee there

And take us to Heaven
To live with Thee there

Just as the lyrics say, I came to love Thee, Lord Jesus.

This brought to mind, Matthew 22:37, "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind."

Yes, I did love God with all my heart, soul and mind.  Just as this Bible verse says.

Coming to know Jesus was so very important.

I was grateful to have come to know Him, even though I was living in a different country than where I was from.

And, I became grateful that Jesus was born.

For this, I praise God.  And, always will.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
