Hopefully, you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday. If not, I would suggest you do.
Why? Because then, you'll be aware about why I feel today's entry is important.
I want to let people know that we used to have an injured workers group, here in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. That group is gone.
However, there is a new group here, now.
For this, I am thankful. Thank You, Lord!
The group that began in the spring of this year (2016) is called, Unifor Local 195, Injured Worker Support Group. Here is a link for you to see about it: https://windsoressex.cioc.ca/record/WIN0833.
If you don't live here in Windsor, you won't need to click on the link and check it out. But, you may want to check online to see if there is a group available in the city where you live.
Especially, if you are an injured worker. Or, if you are in support of injured workers.
Truthfully, if you are not an injured worker, I do believe it would be good if you supported injured workers. The easiest way of doing so, is to attend meetings for injured workers.
After all, injured workers need to feel that there are people who support them, to help with their burden.
Thinking of this, brought to mind Galatians 6:2, "Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ."
By bearing another person's burdens, you are fulfilling the law of Christ. Just as we read.
I'm not referring to help people financially, when I think of people's burdens. But, if it is in your heart to do so, God will bless you.
I'm referring to being in support of people.
People everywhere suffer through trials in their lives. So, if you support someone who is in need of support, you can lift them up, encourage them, and help them focus on our Lord.
If you do this, may God bless you.
Until next time...
