There is something I haven't gotten to share with you, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL). Why? Because it's been a busy time for me.
Last week was truly busy. It was filled with things to do.
On Wednesday, December 7th, I attended a meeting for a women's group I am a member of. It was also a pot-luck dinner, and a celebration of CHRISTmas.
In the past, a meeting of this nature was held in Windsor. But, this year it wasn't.
It was held in LaSalle, which is nearby the west side of Windsor.
I have to admit, I had trouble locating where the meeting was being held. In fact, when I was across the street from the building where I was to attend, it was so dark that I couldn't see any address.
There were people in this area, so I asked them if they knew where the address was located, where I needed to go. Anyone I spoke to, let me know they had no idea where it was.
I prayed.
Then, I made my way into the parking lot across the street, I still couldn't see the address, but decided to go into the building, even though there was only one (1) vehicle parked there.
My goodness! It was where I was supposed to attend.
For this, I praised God, for helping me find the location!
Seriously, it touched my heart, because it took me so long to find the location, that I was a half-hour late to attend. Yet, the only person there, was the person who organized the meeting! :( :)
Women began to join us. Many remarked about not being able to find this location.
A friend of mine that I hadn't seen in a while, was supposed to attend. But, she didn't show up.
I phoned her and found out she wasn't feeling well enough to join us in attendance.
After hanging up from the telephone call, I silently prayed for her. And, for all the women who were there, and/or who should have joined us.
You see, not everyone who attended the meeting are Christian.
This means that unless they gain salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, they will suffer for eternity.
Just as we read, in Mark 16:16, "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."
My heart's desire is for people to gain salvation, so they will spend eternity in Heaven with Him, after their lives here on earth, end. I pray they shall not be damned, for if they are... it will be because they never gained salvation.
Have you gained salvation?
If so, I'll see you in Heaven some day.
If you haven't yet gained salvation, do so today.
Tomorrow, may be too late.
Until next time...
