Birthday Celebration!

Like normal, Sunday... here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) is a special day.

If you read LwL's blog entry on Sunday, you'll know that it was a special day, not just because of being a day to worship.  It was also the birthday of my grandson, D... and his girlfriend, W!

Knowing they weren't available on Sunday, to celebrate their birthdays, instead we got together on Monday!

Yes, their birthdays are on the same day.  But, a year apart.  :)

D's mom, my daughter, P... and K, made dinner for everyone who attended.  There was a lot of people!

In any case, it was a delicious meal!

After the meal, the birthday cake was shared.  :)

We all sang... Happy Birthday!

Of course, both D and W received gifts.  So, it was a fun time for them!  :)

But, for me, it was a a wonderful day that the Lord hath made.

Just as we read, in Psalm 118:24, "This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it."

After all, our Lord made that special day for both, D & W.

It was a special day, to celebrate their birth.

As we read, we will rejoice and be glad in it.

For sure, I am... whenever it is a special day for any of my family members.
