Do Not Celebrate... Halloween!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll discuss something that I think everyone should think about.  What is it?

Halloween.

Why am I discussing Halloween?  Because I don't celebrate it.

In the past, when my children were young, I did.  :'(

Yes, thinking about this, makes me want to cry.  :'(

Why?

Well, at that point in my life, I loved our Lord.  But, I didn't read the whole Bible.

When I think of back then, I wish I did read the whole Bible.

If I had, I would have known that Halloween should not be celebrated by Christians.

Just as we read in many verses in God's Word, the Bible.

Thinking of this, brought to mind, Galatians 5:19-21, "Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God."

Do you think I'm confused?

I am not.  I know the truth.

Halloween represents witchcraft.  And Satanism.

God reveals it, in His Word, the Bible.

Plus, truth is revealed through various other ways.  Including this link I'm sharing with you, regarding... Satanic holidays:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satanic_holidays.

If you clicked on the link and read it, you'll have seen that (I copied/pasted) from Wikipedia:

Satanist portrayal of Satanic holidays[edit]
In The Satanic Bible, Satanist Anton LaVey writes that "after one's own birthday, the two major Satanic holidays are Walpurgisnacht and Halloween (or All Hallows' Eve)". Other holidays are the two solstices and the two equinoxes.

Hmmm...

Hopefully, you understand that Satanism is not to be supported by Christians.

After all, Satan is NOT our God.  But, he is god of many who are not Christian.

I pray in the name of Jesus, that you will not celebrate Halloween, ever again.  And, that you will teach others, including your family, the truth.

Thank You, Lord... for being supportive!

Thank You, for forgiving us, when we have sinned.

Thank You, for revealing truth!

Until next time...

H.B. D & W! & Let...

Before I begin today's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, I'd like to wish my grandson, D... and his girlfriend, W... Happy Birthday!  Yes... they both have today as their birthday!  I'll be happy to spend time with you, both.  Happy Birthday!

Today, is not just a special family day.  It's also a day of worship.

So, I'll share some music with you.

As I've said in the past, Keith Getty is from N. Ireland, where my grandmother and great-grandmother came from.  He may be a family member of many generations.

Even so, I'm sharing music by him, and Stuart Townend entitled, Speak O Lord; it's sung by Kristyn Getty.  If you'd like to listen and/or sing along, click on this link:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubRlJj8xkds

Speak O Lord

Speak, O Lord, as we come to You
To receive the food of Your Holy Word.
Take Your truth, plant it deep in us;
Shape and fashion us in Your likeness,
That the light of Christ might be seen today
In our acts of love and our deeds of faith.
Speak, O Lord, and fulfill in us
All Your purposes for Your glory.

Teach us, Lord, full obedience,
Holy reverence, true humility;
Test our thoughts and our attitudes
In the radiance of Your purity.
Cause our faith to rise; cause our eyes to see
Your majestic love and authority.
Words of pow’r that can never fail—
Let their truth prevail over unbelief.

Speak, O Lord, and renew our minds;
Help us grasp the heights of Your plans for us—
Truths unchanged from the dawn of time
That will echo down through eternity.
And by grace we’ll stand on Your promises,
And by faith we’ll walk as You walk with us.
Speak, O Lord, till Your church is built
And the earth is filled with Your glory.

This music truly touches my heart.

It speaks to our Lord.  And, asks Him to speak with us, and teach us.

He does.

Just as we read, in Colossians 3:16, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."

He teaches us, always.

As long as we read God's Word, the Bible.

I do.

Do you?

Not...

Today, is another day, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), when I will share with you stuff that I find important.

What is it?  It's something I've discussed before.  Movies!

Here are a few that I've watched:

Strait-Jacket, starring Joan Crawford, Leif Ericson and other actors.  If you'd like to check out this horror thriller film, please click here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strait-Jacket.  Did I like this film?  No... but, yes.  I didn't like the abuse and unloving attitude by some, but I did like the fact that the ending showed love.

End of the Game, starring Jon Voight, Jacqueline Bisset and other actors.  Want to check out this German political thriller drama film?  If so, click here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/End_of_the_Game.  To me, this was a heartbreaking movie in some ways.  But, the ending was wonderful because even though someone was truly hurt in life, truth came out.

Catch Me If You Can, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hanks, Martin Sheen and more actors.  To check out this biographical crime film, click here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catch_Me_If_You_Can.  Yes, I had seen this movie in the past.  However, there wasn't much available on television (TV), so I watched it again.  It touched my heart, knowing how much sin it contained.

The Stone Killer, starring Charles Bronson, Martin Balsam and other actors.  Check out this action thriller film, here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Stone_Killer.  Yes, there was a lot of action in this film.  Sinful, to be sure.  To me, it was a good movie, but it had a bad ending.

Heist, starring Robert De Niro, Kate Bosworth and many other actors.  Click here to check out this crime thriller film:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heist_(2015_film).  Even though this movie was filled with evilness, the ending was okay.

If you read about each of these movies, you'll know that I felt that each one was mainly sinful.

Sin has filled our world.  So, having it show up in films, isn't surprising.

The trouble with sin, is that it doesn't bring anything good to those who sin.  Not ever.

Just as we read, in Galatians 5:19-21, "Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God."

Yes, the works of the flesh showed up in every movie I discussed, here today.  Much like what is happening in our world.

The trouble is, that whoever has sin in their lives, like what is listed in today's Bible verse, will not inherit the kingdom of God.  Just as His Word, told us.

How can we inherit the kingdom of God?

Trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ and you shall be saved (Acts 16:31).

By becoming saved, our salvation gives us everlasting life, that we will spend in Heaven after our life here on earth ends.

It's so important.  And, can never be changed.

So, if you haven't yet come to Christ and gained salvation, please... do so, today.

Tomorrow, may be too late.

Until next time...

Murder?!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll discuss something that I believe happened to Zachariah Anani.  I believe he was murdered.

Do I know this to be a fact?  No.  But, I do believe what God revealed to me, after thinking and praying about knowing truth.

If you read LwL yesterday, you'll know that I was shocked.  Here's what I said (I copied/pasted it):

Zachariah had been found dead, in his car.

Zachariah's car had been parked in the airport parking lot for the Toronto airport... for two (2) weeks.

Two (2) weeks?!

His dead body had been in his car for two (2) weeks?!  Yet, no one found him, there?

To me, this was shocking.

However, I also thought about something else I had shared on LwL earlier this week.

A few days ago, I wrote this on LwL:

Here is a link by Cape Gazette entitled, Zachariah 'Zak' Anani, fearless Christianhttp://www.capegazette.com/article/zachariah-%E2%80%98zak%E2%80%99-anani-fearless-christian/114255.

If you read that article, you will have seen a photo of Zak, and read this information:  Zachariah "Zak" Anani, 57, was called home suddenly by his Lord Jesus Monday, ,July 4, 2016, at the Toronto Airport, Canada as he was preparing to fly to minister in Egypt. When his luggage arrived without Zak, his brother contacted missing persons and he was discovered in his car in the airport parking lot.

You may be wondering why this information was truly important to me.

Well, I believe that many people may not understand why I would be upset that Zak's luggage arrived on the airplane in Egypt... even though he was found dead in his car at the Toronto airport parking garage, two (2) weeks later.

I understand.  I understand, truth.

You see, in the past, when my now deceased husband, Gordon and I had travelled various ways, something happened on an air flight we took.

On an island in the Caribbean, our air flight take off was delayed a couple of hours.

Why?  Because someone had checked in for the flight and had given the airlines their luggage.

The person did not come onto the plane.

Thinking the person may have been delayed for some personal reason, our take off didn't happen at first.  Then, after the person never showed up, the airlines had to remove all the luggage from the airplane.  Once the person's luggage was found, all the rest of our luggage was replaced onto the airplane, and we took off.

Another friend told me a similar thing happened to her, in the past.

So, when I heard that Zak's luggage wasn't removed from the airplane, and instead arrived in Egypt... without him, I realized that something else must have happened.

I believe that Muslims who had previously threatened Zak, approached him after he checked in for the flight... and after he had gone through security.  After all, he had to go through security, to confirm his entry for his flight to Egypt.

I believe that Muslims, who may actually work there, took him out of the airport building.

I don't believe they would have taken Zak through the security, for if they had, then the airlines company could have found out that he had exited the building.  So, I believe Muslims probably took him out of the building, through an area where employees could go.

I also believe that a Muslim took Zak's copy of his ticket, and entered the plane to fly to Egypt.

Why would I think this?

Well, the person wouldn't have to show his passport to enter the airplane.  He only needed to provide Zak's ticket to the airlines employees, who allow people to enter the airplane for the flight.

By this happening, the airlines would think that Zak had flown to Egypt... and would not have removed his luggage from the airplane.

I believe that whoever the Muslims were that took Zak from the airport building, and returned him into his car, murdered him.

Maybe not in a tearing apart physical way.  But, in some way where his body would remain in one piece.  Meaning, I don't believe they cut off his head.

Why do I think this happened this way?

Well, if he hadn't entered the airplane for the flight, then the airlines would have had to remove his luggage from the plane.  Plus, they would have had it on file, that he had not taken the flight.

Did this happen the way I have described it?

I believe so.

Anyone who may have hurt Zak and/or participated in murdering him, would know.

Would anyone else know?

Only God.

I believe God revealed the truth to me, about what happened to Zachariah Anani.

And, I believe He wanted me to reveal what I believe is the truth about what happened to him.

Just as we read, in Ephesians 4:15, "But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:"

Even though I believe Zachariah Anani was murdered by Muslims, I believe God wants me to reveal the truth about why I think this.  So, I have revealed it, in a loving way.

What loving way?

Truth.  Truth about what probably happened.

If it wasn't truth, I don't believe God would have put it on my heart and mind, to recall what was wrong with what I read and heard, regarding Zak.

My friends, please pray.

Pray for Muslims.  Pray they will come to Christ.  Pray they will convert from Islam to Christianity.

Pray that Muslims will stop threatening people who speak truth about Islam.

Like they have done to me, in the past.

And, like they did to Zachariah Anani.

Thank you for praying.

May God bless you.

H.B. A! & Know...

Before I begin today's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, I would like to wish my grandson, A... Happy Birthday!  I'm so happy that you're growing... not just older, but taller!  Happy Birthday!

If you read LwL recently, you'll know that someone I knew, died.  Zachariah Anani.

Hopefully, you did read LwL, lately.  If you did, then you know that Zachariah Anani, was a Christian... who converted from Islam.

After I found out that Zachariah had died, I felt bad.  Later, I thought about my pastor from years ago, who had brought him into Canada... and wondered if he knew.

So, I called him.

When I spoke with him, I was surprised to hear that he knew Zachariah had died.

At that time, I felt like I was maybe the only person who had not known.  Even so, I probably was not.

During our conversation, he let me know that he had heard that Zachariah had been found dead, in his car.

Zachariah's car had been parked in the airport parking lot for the Toronto airport... for two (2) weeks.

Two (2) weeks?!

His dead body had been in his car for two (2) weeks?!  Yet, no one found him, there?

To me, this was shocking.

My previous pastor let me know that he had no idea what happened to Zachariah.  Or, how he died.

We also discussed the fact that since Zachariah's body had not been treated the way it might have been through a funeral home, it wasn't possible to determine what happened to him.

When our conversation ended, I took some time to think.  Then, I prayed.

No, I didn't pray for Zachariah.  It was too late to pray for him.

After all, He had become a born-again believer.  So, I knew that He would spend eternity in Heaven with our Lord.

But, I wanted to know about what happened to him.  And, believed God would reveal truth to me.

Thinking of this, brought to mind, John 8:32, "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

Isn't it wonderful that... ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free?  To me, it is.

Is it to you?

Will God reveal truth to everyone?

No.  But, He will reveal truth to those who belong to Him.

I do.  Zachariah did.

Do you?

Hopefully, so.  For if you have trusted in/believed upon our Lord, Jesus Christ... and became a born-again Christian, then God will reveal truth to you.

For this, I am thankful.  And, always will be.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

Martyr...

If you've read Life with Lynnie (LwL) over the last couple of days, you'll know that a Christian brother in the Lord, died.

If you've read LwL recently, you'll also know how my deceased husband Gordon, and I helped support him, when he first came to Canada.

Yes, it was shocking to me to read that he died.

While looking on the internet, I found a couple of YouTube videos that you may want to watch.  Both give information about Zachariah 'Zak' Anani.

Here is a YouTube link entitled, Muslim Militia Leader Islam Zachariah Anani Christian martyrhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqbIS23EIMw.

Here is another YouTube link entitled, The Terrorist Who Met God:  The True Story of Zachariah Ananihttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHwWv3Jrn18.

If you go onto YouTube, you'll probably see more videos regarding Zak.

Just so you know, I didn't just meet Zak.

His wife eventually came to Canada with their children.  I saw her at a worship service, along with his two (2) daughters.

Prior to their arrival into Canada, Zak had told us how one (1) of his daughters had been attacked by Muslims.  Yes, his wife and family were also Christians.

When I saw his daughter who had just become a teenager, I realized who she was.

How did I know?

We had been told that his daughter's face had been cut open by a Muslim terrorist.

Her face was cut open from one side of her face, up near her hairline.  The cut went down to the bottom of her face, like half an X.  Meaning the knife opening was on the other side of her face, near her chin.

This had broken my heart, when I first heard about what had happened to his daughter.  When I saw her, it was even more heartbreaking.

Even so, I was happy she hadn't died.  I praised God that He kept her alive, and was able to bring her with her other family members, to be with her dad.

After being here not too long, her mom returned to Lebanon.  She didn't want to stay in Canada.

Apparently, from what I heard, Zak's wife liked the fact that he had come to Canada to stop having his life at risk.

But, that wasn't the case.  Zak was being threatened by Muslims... even here in Windsor, Ontario.  This was what I heard was the reason Zak's wife left Canada.

This was truly upsetting to me when this happened.

However, I was grateful that God protected Zak.  And, Zak didn't seem to be afraid.

Just as we read, in Isaiah 41:10, "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."

We are to fear not, for He is with us: we need to be not dismayed, for He is our God: He will strengthen us; yes, He will help us and He will uphold us with the right hand of His righteousness.

For this, I am thankful.  Truly thankful.

Zak came across to me, my now deceased husband, and many other people, as a brother in the Lord, who was thankful to God for saving him.

I'm saved, too.

Are you?

Do you know that in order to become saved, you need to trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ?

If you haven't gained salvation yet, please read God's Word, the Bible... and begin in the New Testament.  There you'll come to realize that God has provided for you.

Hopefully, you'll gain salvation.

If you do, then some time in the future, I'll see you in Heaven, instead of you going to spend eternity in Hell, separated from God... with no chance of escape.

And, while you're in Heaven, you'll will see Zak.

Praise God!

Shocking!

If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday, you'll know that I discussed Zachariah Anani.  If you haven't read that LwL entry, please read yesterday's LwL entry.

Knowing I hadn't seen Zak in a very long time, I tried to make sure I could contact him.  And, searched on internet to try and find him.  I should let you know it was September 26th, 2016 when I did this.

I found out information about Zak.

He died.

I almost had heart failure when I read that he died July 4, 2016

This was time when I was truly ill, and had returned home from hospital.  At that time, I wasn't able to even write LwL blog entries, because I couldn't sit up at my computer.  So, it's no wonder that I didn't find out that Zak had died.

I also wasn't able to drive, so I even though I didn't know that a memorial service was held on July 30th, here in Windsor, I couldn't have gone, unless I got a ride by someone.

Knowing that Zak was on in the process of flying to minister in Egypt, tells us that he was definitely doing work for God.  For this, I praise him.

After all, it's important to do work for Him.

Just as we read, in 1 Corinthians 15:58, "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."

Yes, beloved brethren, we need to be stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

It's so important to do work for our Lord.

I do.

Do you?

Zak did.  Very much.

So, I know he's in Heaven, being blessed in a special way... since he loved our Lord.  And, was truly a Christian martyr.

Thank You, Lord... for having Zak as a friend and brother in the Lord, in part of my life.

Until next time...

Deceived?

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be sharing some links with you, today.

Why?  Because during a conversation with a couple of people I know, I was asked to e-mail them info.

So, I did.  And, decided to share that info with you, as well.

Before I share with you the links, I need to let you know that I had saved as favourites five (5) YouTube videos made by the man I am sharing information about, today.  However, when I went to share them with the people I was e-mailing, I found out that YouTube no longer allows those five (5) videos.  To check it out for yourself, click here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DbiCacuCiZM.

Yes, the man being discussed today, was originally... Muslim.  However, he later became Christian.

His name is Zachariah Anani.  He is church family, and has been a friend of mine.

When my now deceased husband and I first met him, it was because the pastor at the church where I used to worship, helped bring Zak to Canada.  And, some of us helped support him, until he was accepted here into Canada to live.

Searching on YouTube, later I found a couple of videos that are still allowed to be seen.  Here is a link to one of them entitled, Zak Anani, Former Muslim Terrorist's Journey to Christhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7VDxCicvXE.  If you look, there's a link on the right side of the screen, to another video concerning Zak.

While searching on the internet, I found another couple of links that I was surprised to see, concerning Zak.

Here is a link to an article by en.wikipedia.org entitled, Zachariah Ananihttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zachariah_Anani.  To be honest, I know a lot more about Zak, and his family, than what is quoted on that article.

The other link to an article is by montrealmuslimnews.net and is entitled, Claims made by Zachariah Ananihttp://www.montrealmuslimnews.net/anani.htm.  It was shocking to me, to come across this article.

Just so you know, I had trouble with the website.  However, when I 'google searched', here's what I read (I copied and pasted the info):

Montreal Muslim News - Because you have the right to know

www.montrealmuslimnews.net/
Provides information about and for the Muslim community, and provides links to groups working for social justice in Canada.

This was shocking to me.  Especially, since this website is not just telling Muslims about Zak, but may be doing so, that he could be found, hurt and/or killed.

Please pray for Zak.  Thank you!

However, I must admit... the information is very truthful.

Plus, the article has links to other articles and videos that I believe are important.

Please make sure you read about Zak, on that link.

Also, another man is mentioned on that article.  He also came to speak at my church years ago, during an event for Understanding Islam.

This man has become well known as well.  His name is... Walid Shoebat.

To me, understanding Islam is... very important.

Even so, it's difficult to be taught about Islam.  Especially, since some people don't want to face the truth.

So, as a result some people don't speak truthfully regarding Islam.

Thinking about that, brought to mind Matthew 24:11, "And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many."

Yes, many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

Those who are false prophets will rise up and try to tell people that Islam is truly a peaceful religion.  When truthfully, it is not... considering what I've learned.

I feel bad for anyone who thinks it is peaceful, because I believe they are being deceived.

In any case, we need to endure, through this life.

And, trust in God.  For He truly loves us.

For this, I am grateful.  And, always will be.

Thank You, Lord!

Dad... & Thanks...

Before I begin today's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, I'd like to say that today is the anniversary of my dad's death.  I must admit, I truly miss him.

Even though I have memory of this day, I realize that today is the day when we need to worship.

Of course, on a day like today, I share music with you.

Today, I'm sharing with you, There is a Redeemer.  If you click on this link, you'll be able to listen and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDgZ1v3l9go.  The lyrics are below.

There is a Redeemer

There is a redeemer,
Jesus, God's own Son,
Precious Lamb of God, Messiah,
Holy One.

Jesus my redeemer,
Name above all names,
Precious Lamb of God, Messiah,
Oh, for sinners slain.

Thank you oh my father,
For giving us Your Son,
And leaving Your Spirit,
'Til the work on Earth is done.

When I stand in Glory,
I will see His face,
And there I'll serve my King forever,
In that Holy Place.

Thank you oh my father,
For giving us Your Son,
And leaving Your Spirit,
'Til the work on Earth is done.

Thank you oh my father,
For giving us Your Son,
And leaving Your Spirit,
'Til the work on Earth is done.

Just as the lyrics say, we need to thank our Father.

Just as we read, in 2 Corinthians 9:15, "Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift."

Yes, thanks be unto God... for His unspeakable gift.

He gives us gifts.  Always.

Not just daily in our lives.

I'm grateful He gave us His Son... our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Are you grateful?

Until next time...

Un...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be discussing something with you, like I've done in the past.  And, will do at times, in the future, too!

Movies!

Here are some movies I've watched:

Hot Stuff, starring Dom DeLuise, Suzanne Pleshette and Jerry Reed.  If you'd like to check out this comedy film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hot_Stuff_(1979_film).  Even though this movie is supposed to be funny, I didn't always laugh.  There was sin in it.  Even so, I enjoyed the movie.

Absence of Malice, starring Paul Newman and Sally Field.  Check out this drama film, by clicking on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Absence_of_Malice.  I must admit that even though there seemed to be a relationship in the movie, there certainly was much drama and sinfulness.  Still, I enjoyed the film.

The Green Glove, starring Glenn Ford, Geraldine Brooks and Sir Cedric Hardwicke.  Click on this link, to check out this film noirhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Green_Glove.  This story takes place after WW2 is over.  I enjoyed the movie, even though there was sin in it.

*  Fighting Mad, starring Peter Fonda, Lynn Lowry and other actors.  Want to check out this film about corruption?  If so, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fighting_Mad.  Even though this movie was sad in some ways, with sin in it, I enjoyed it.

No Mercy, starring Richard Gere and Kim Basinger.  To check out this police story film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_Mercy_(film).  This movie was interesting, even though there was love and sin in it.  Watch it, if you can.

Sigh...

So many movies contain sin.  Even if there is a good story.

Sin isn't wonderful.

It can lead people unto death.

Just as we read, in 1 John 5:17, "All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death."

Yes, all unrighteousness is sin.  And, there is a sin not unto death.

How can we change this in our lives?

We need righteousness.

We people do not have any righteousness, until we trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.  Then, we gain salvation (Acts 16:31)... and righteousness... of God.

I've done this.

Have you?

Hopefully, you have.

If you haven't yet, then I believe you need to come to Christ, today.  This way, you can gain salvation.

If you don't... tomorrow, may be too late.

Until next time...

Michigan Church... and Music!

If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) over the past couple of days, you'll know that I went across the border, to Michigan, USA

As I mentioned previously, I did so to attend a two (2) evening event regarding:  Revealing:  The Jihad & Terrorism of Islam.

Hopefully, you read what I wrote.  This way, you'll understand truth.

However, there is something else I want to discuss.

Before the beginning of the speaking event on both evenings, music was played.

I didn't meet the singer on the Wednesday, October 5th evening.  However, I met him on the Thursday, October 6th evening.

After singing and playing the music with fellow musicians, he actually came and sat with his friend, in the row in front of me.

As he entered the pew, I let that brother in the Lord know that I felt he has a beautiful voice!

After the speaking event ended, both he and his friend spoke with me.  We discussed a few things.

We talked about the speaker and about Islam.  We also spoke about issues that were similar, regarding where our family backgrounds were from.

Plus, the singer gave me a business card, so I could have access to his website.

Click on this link, so you can access R.G. Dempster's website:  http://www.rgdempster.com/.

On the website, you will see that he wrote a song entitled, Blue Skies, Yellow Sun.

I must admit, I found the song to be lovely.

You see, even though the group played and sang American patriotic songs... Blue Skies, Yellow Sun was also sung for us.

It was a beautiful time, listening to the lovely music!  And, hearing Robert Dempster, sing.

Lovely music and singing isn't just nice for us.  It is honouring to God.

While those people I spoke with aren't aware that I sing for our God, you are probably aware I do.

Especially, if you know me, in life.  Or, if you've read the book I wrote:  Love Never Fails You... and/or read the blog entries I write here on Life with Lynnie!

Yes, I enjoy singing for the Lord.  With music.  And/or just a capella (without music).

I sing, because I feel God has blessed me.

Just like we read, in Psalm 13:6, "I will sing unto the Lord, because he hath dealt bountifully with me."

Hopefully, you will sing unto the Lord, also.  If you do, it will be because He has dealt bountifully with you.

Just as He has done with me.

And, just as He has done with Robert Dempster.

I pray you'll go and listen to his music.

Thank you.  Blessings...

Until next time...

Revealing Jihad & Terrorism of Islam...

Hopefully, you read yesterday's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry.  If you haven't, I would suggest you do, before you read today's entry.

As I mentioned yesterday, my friends, C & T took me over to a Michigan church on Wednesday, October 5th.  The church we went to, was where an event was being held regarding Islam.

T and C both felt bad that they could not join me to attend the Thursday, October 6th part of the event.  I felt badly for them, but was super happy that I was able to drive myself there, to attend!  :)

Both evenings, Usama Dakdok educated everyone who attended the church event, regarding Islam.

To be honest, I was truly glad that I was able to attend.

Did I learn anything new?  No.

As I mentioned in the past, I attended courses on Understanding Islam, 18 -20 years ago.  Plus, in the past, I met and got to know some Muslims, who converted to Christianity... becoming born-again Christians!

So, why was I truly glad that I attended?

Everything Usama Dakdok taught people during those evenings were exactly what I had learned years ago.  He showed me that everything I had learned... was correct.

However, I feel I need to tell you that in both English and another language, he showed and read to us verses from the Qur'an and other Muslim holy books.

While I could not write down all info regarding those Muslim verses, I should let you know that Usama Dakdok has written a book, regarding the Qur'an.  In it, he explains what the Qur'an teaches each and every Muslim.

He confirmed to all in attendance, that there is truly no such thing as a terrorist Muslim compared to a Muslim that anyone may have met.  Nor, is there radical Muslims.

Usama Dakdok confirmed to us, that each and every Muslim are taught the same thing.

The only difference between them, is whether or not they are doing what their god wants them to do.

So, those in ISIS and any/every other terrorist groups, are truly Muslims who are fully doing what their god wants.

Those who are not doing terrorism, are considered to be hypocrites of Islam... by those who are doing what their god wants them to do.

I must admit, I am truly thankful that Usama Dakdok spoke truth.  Truth that I had learned so many years ago.

Truth is so very important.

Just as we read, in Proverbs 12:22, "Lying lips are abomination to the Lord: but they that deal truly are his delight."

I'm so grateful that I met Usama Dakdok and listened to everything he was teaching others.  I'm so grateful that what I learned years ago, was honest truth.

After all, lying lips are an abomination to the Lord.  But, they that deal truly are His delight.

May God bless both Usama Dakdok, and my past-pastor, for teaching truth about Islam.

Hopefully, you'll understand that whenever I write and/or speak about Islam, I am also speaking truth.

May you become fully aware and educated.

If you'd like to have Usama Dakdok speak/teach you regarding:  Revealing:  The Jihad & Terrorism of Islam and/or any other teaching event regarding Islam, please click on this link for his website for The Straight Way of Grace Ministry:    http://www.thestraightway.org/.

May our God bless you... and lead you to know truth, regarding Islam.

Across The Border...

Every now and then, I let you know here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), that I went across the border to USA.  Today, I'll be telling you about what I did, when I crossed the border.

It was Wednesday, October 5th, when my friend, C... her boyfriend (who is my friend), T and I met at C's home.

T drove us across the border to USA.  We made our way to a church, where an event was being held.  Thank you, T!

The event was about Islam.

The pastor at that church had actually been my pastor many years ago.  However, he's been the pastor at the Michigan church for a few years, since.

About 18 -20 years ago, he taught me and everyone else who attended courses he taught about... Understanding Islam.

While he did speak for a few minutes at the evening event my friends and I attended in Michigan, he was not the main speaker.

The main speaker was... Usama Dakdok

Usama Dakdok, founded the Straightway of Grace Ministry, in 2001.  Here is a link to his website of The Straightway of Grace Ministry:  http://www.thestraightway.org/.

Usama Dakdok was born and raised Muslim, in Egypt.

However, he became Christian.  And, eventually immigrated to USA.

For this, I praise God!

After all, by becoming Christian, Usama Dakdok gained salvation.  He became a new person.

Just like we read, in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

Yes, Usama Dakdok's old part of life... being Muslim, passed away.  All things became new... including the fact that he's now a born-again Christian.

By trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, Usama Dakdok has gained salvation.  When his life ends here on earth, he'll spend eternity in Heaven... with our God!

For this, I am truly happy!  Hallelujah!

Have you gained salvation?

If not, please come to Christ.

Don't leave it.  Come to Christ, today.

Tomorrow, may be too late.

Until next time...

Mercy...

Believe it or not, today will be another day when I will discuss here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), something that happened when I was at that fund-raiser dinner event, on SONday, October 2nd.  Just so you know, today will the last time I discuss things from that day.

As I mentioned on LwL previously, I had met A's friends... G, and L.  As I also said, both A and L spoke with me regarding the book I authored and published Love Never Fails You... and let me know they both wanted a copy.

There was something else, L wanted to discuss with me.

L had heard that I haven't been well.  And, wanted to talk with me regarding my health problem.

Why?

Apparently, she works helping those who have health problems.

When we discussed what was ailing me, L was absolutely shocked.  In fact, she was so shocked that she said that she was surprised I am still alive.

Wow!

Most people do not know what is ailing me.

If they do, they are shocked.

However, when I told another friend during our telephone call later that evening, what L had said, my other friend was shocked, herself.  She let me know she didn't realize how dangerous it is, concerning what I am suffering with.

L, is correct.

What I am suffering with, is very dangerous.  But, God has not yet taken me home.

For this, I am truly thankful, for there are things that I want to do.  Not just for myself, but for Him.

Thinking of this, brought to mind Psalms 107:1, "O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever."

Yes, I give thanks to the Lord.  He is good.  And, His mercy endures forever.

Even though I have times when I feel upset, I always look to Him.  For He has mercy for me.

He loves me.  Plus, He helps me.

Not just physically.  But, also emotionally... and spiritually.

For this, I will always be thankful.

Thank You, Lord!

Glory...

If you've been reading Life with Lynnie (LwL), you'll know that our Canadian Thanksgiving weekend was busy for me.

Monday, October 10th, was our Canadian Thanksgiving Day.

However, it was also the day of the 7th anniversary of my husband, Gordon's death.

I had prayed about what to do on that day.

I must admit, I truly didn't want to be at home, alone.  I felt that maybe I wouldn't be able to be happy about it being our Thanksgiving Day.

After praying, I arranged to take a fairly 'new' friend, M to the Legion, for dinner.

You see, this lady was going to spend most, or possibly all of the weekend, alone.  So, in my heart, God provided for both of us.

Arriving at the Legion, we both thought that the dinner would be a turkey dinner.  But, it wasn't.

Instead, the dinner was a ham dinner.

To some this wasn't great.  But, to us... it was good.

And, it was absolutely, delicious!

While there, we listened to music.  And, talked.

Something happened that was a total surprise to me.

When I returned from the ladies' washroom, I saw another woman sitting next to, M.  They were talking.

It turned out that the lady sitting and talking with M, was her sister!  :)

A couple of times, M's sister came to speak with her.  Plus, her brother-in-law came and asked her to dance.  Although she didn't dance at that time, M did a bit later.

I didn't dance at all.  Especially, since I am not well physically, and have been experiencing pain.

However, the music man called me up to sing.  So, I did!

He fulfilled not just my heart's desire.  He also fulfilled some other people's desire, for I had been asked by some people to sing that day.

It seemed to me that God not only provided for me, but He also provided for, M.

Thinking about this, made me think of Philippians 4:20, "Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen."

Yes, now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever.  Amen.

Talk about glory!!

He provided for both M and my needs.

Plus, He opened the door for M, even more, regarding her family!

For this, I'll always be thankful.

Thank You, Lord!

H.B. T! & All Things...

Before I begin today's entry, here on Life with Lynnie, I'd like to wish my grandson, T... Happy Birthday!  It's wonderful being able to spend time with you!  Happy Birthday!

Like normal, here on LwL, I'll remind you that today is our Lord's Day.  Our day of worship.

We are to worship in spirit and in truth.

Of course, I also like to worship through music.  I'm sure you understand I do this.

Today, I'll share with you Bless His Holy Name.  Click on this link, and you will be able to listen to and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWCN8hBQuDY .  The lyrics are below.

Bless His Holy Name

Bless the Lord, O my soul
And all that is within me, bless His holy name.
Bless the Lord, O my soul
And all that is within me, bless His holy name.

He has done great things, He has done great things,
He has done great things, bless His holy name.

Bless the Lord, O my soul
And all that is within me, bless His holy name.
Bless the Lord, O my soul
And all that is within me, bless His holy name.

Bless the Lord, O my soul
And all that is within me, bless His holy name.

He has done great things, He has done great things,
He has done great things, bless His holy name.

Bless the Lord, O my soul
And all that is within me, bless His holy name.

Yes, we need to bless the Lord.

He has done great things.

Nothing is impossible for Him

Just as we read, in Mark 10:27, "And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible."

How wonderful it is that Jesus told us that with men, it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

Our God is truly in control.

Not us.

So, we need to look to Him, trust Him and rely upon Him, always.

I do.

Do you?

Hopefully, so.

Love...

It's been a while since I was able to tell you something, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).  But, today is a good day!

What did I want to tell you about?  Movies!

Here's some films I watched:

For Love or Money, starring Michael J. Fox, Gabrielle Anwar and other actors.  If you'd like to check out this romantic comedy film, please click here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/For_Love_or_Money_(1993_film).  Even though this is a comedy film, it had sin in it.  However, it was nice that the romantic part ended the movie, well.

Another Man, Another Chance, starring James Caan, Genevieve Bujold and Francis Huster. is considered a French film... even though it was rather romantic.  To check it out, please click here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Another_Man,_Another_Chance.  To be honest, part of the film was sad, but the ending was wonderful.

Movers & Shakers, starring Walter Matthau, Charles Grodin, Gilda Radner and other actors.  Click here, if you'd like to check out this comedy film:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Movers_%26_Shakers.  Even though this is known as a comedy film, knowing there were marital problems, I didn't find it funny.  Still, I enjoyed it.

Goodbye, Columbus, starring Richard Benjamin, Ali MacGraw, Jack Klugman and other actors.  Want to check out this romantic comedy drama film?  Click here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goodbye,_Columbus_(film).  Even though this is sort of a romantic drama film, I didn't really think comedy was included.  I don't recall laughing.  With the sin of the film, I felt badly.  Still, I enjoyed the movie.

The Quiet Man, starring John Wayne, Maureen O'Hara, Barry Fitzgerald and other actors.  Would you like to check out this romantic comedy-drama film?  If so, click here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Quiet_Man.  You may or may not realize that I adore this movie!  Yes, I've seen it before, and will always watch it, again.  Although I never have found it to be funny, I have enjoyed the romance of the film.  Plus, I love the fact that it took place in Ireland.

Each of these films claim to be romantic, in nature.  Some are drama and/or comedy quoted, as well.  But the important part to me concerning these movies, is the fact that they contain... love.

Love is important to me.

As you've read lately, I miss my deceased husband, Gordon.

After all, I loved him.  And, he loved me.

Love like that is... human in nature.  But, I believe the best love available... isn't human in nature.

The best love I have ever had, has been from God.

Thinking of how He loves us, brought to mind, John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Yes, God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

How wonderful is this love?!

It's the best love that could ever have been provided for us.

At least, for any/all those who are trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.  For then, by doing this, people can gain salvation.  Just as we read in today's Bible verse!

The love He's shown me, has been the best love of all.  Hopefully, you feel the same.

I must admit, I will always be thankful.

Thank You, Lord!

All...

Today, I'll be letting you know here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) about more that took place last SONday, on our Canadian Thanksgiving weekend.

After finishing up with my church family and my friends, C and T, I made my way across town.

I stopped at a retirement residence building where a friend of mine, L has been living.

Several months ago, she had heart surgery in London, Ontario.  Then, she spent time in a rehab centre here in Windsor.

Unfortunately, L wasn't able to move home, again.

L is a widow.  Knowing that she never had children, and most of her family lives elsewhere, I was happy that I could drop by and visit with her.

L was happy to see me.  I was happy to see her!

Later, I made my way further across town.

I arrived at my daughter, P's home.  She had a home filled with people.

P's sons were there, along with a nephew and some of their family members.

P and K had worked very hard to create the Thanksgiving turkey dinner.  I must admit, it was absolutely delicious!  Thank you, so much!

When dessert time came, another couple arrived at P's home.  More relatives of her!

Together, we all celebrated Thanksgiving.

We also all celebrated my great-grandson, E's first (1st) birthday!  You see, Sunday, October 9th was his actual birthday, even though his birthday party had been a day earlier.

This definitely made me happy.

I was truly thankful.  After all, it's not easy dealing with the fact that my husband Gordon, had died on Thanksgiving weekend.

God truly provided for me.

Thinking of this, brought to mind, Philippians 4:19, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

God did supply all my need, according to His riches in glory, by Christ Jesus!  Hallelujah!

For this, I will always be thankful.

Thank You, Lord!

Grace...

Now, I'm able to discuss some of my weekend, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).  After all, it was a special weekend.  Our Canadian Thanksgiving weekend!

For the first time, since earlier this year in May, I actually drove my vehicle so I could attend the worship service with my church family.

If you read LwL or knew me personally, you'd know that this was truly a different thing for me to do.  At least, this year.

My friends, C and her boyfriend, T were to meet me.  We were to worship, together.

It turned out that T showed up, and worshipped.  C arrived after the worship service.

At the end of our worship service, everyone was asked to comment on why they are thankful.

I did.  Just as I do every year.

Afterwards, we all went downstairs to share a pot-luck luncheon.  This is when my friend C, arrived.

The three (3) of us sat together.  And, ate... together.

To me, it was a truly blessed time.  After all, I not only had my friends with me, but my church family was there!

This truly touched my heart.

Especially, since our Canadian Thanksgiving weekend isn't just positive for me.  It's also the weekend when my husband, Gordon... died.

Knowing that I felt blessed, made me so very thankful to our Lord.

Thinking of this, brought to mind Philippians 4:23, "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen."

Amen!  The grace of our Lord, Jesus Christ is with us all!

Well, at least with those who have gained salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ (Acts 16:31).

I have.  So, I receive the grace of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Have you gained salvation?

If not, please come to Christ.  If you do, you'll gain salvation.

Once you've gained salvation, we'll see each other some day in Heaven!

Until next time...

Please!!!

I originally planned to write more about our Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).  But, after receiving an important e-mail, I decided to put it off, and let you know about the e-mail I received.

The e-mail message I received was from the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ).  Here is what the message said (I copied/pasted it):

Lynn,

Christian mom Asia Bibi could be hanged for her faith.

Her fate could be decided in 3 days. We’re taking direct action today.

This Christian mother of five was convicted under Pakistan’s brutal blasphemy laws and sentenced to death. For over 5 years and 11 months, she has suffered on death row.

Now the Supreme Court of Pakistan will hear her case in just 3 days. Her fate could literally be decided this week. This is her FINAL appeal.

We're expanding our global advocacy campaign for her freedom. Today we are sending an emergency letter to Pakistan's Ambassador to the U.S., demanding her freedom.

Add your name to more than 450,000 others who are joining our vital effort. Your voice could be the difference between life and death.

We need to hear from each and every one of you, before it’s too late.
Sign Our Petition: Save Christian Mom Asia Bibi from Death Now.

Jay Sekulow
ACLJ Chief Counsel

If you read the e-mail, you'll know that the Supreme Court of Pakistan will be hearing Asia Bibi's final appeal, within the next couple of days.

Please... sign the petition, if you haven't already.

And, please... pray for Asia Bibi!

Please, don't think that you don't need to pray for Asia Bibi, because you don't live in Pakistan, like she does.  Realize that no matter where we live, we need to pray for those who need prayer... and help those who need help.

Like Asia Bibi!

Just as we read, in 1 Timothy 2:8, "I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting."

Yes, God wills that people pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.

We need to pray, knowing in our hearts that we are not doubting what will happen.  After all, God is in control.  Not us.

Thank you, my friend.

I appreciate you praying for... and doing what you can for Asia Bibi... and for any/all other Christians who are imprisoned by Muslims.

May God bless you!

Until next time...

Good...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll tell you about this past weekend.  Our Canadian Thanksgiving weekend!

If you read LwL lately, or if you know me personally, you'll be aware that our Canadian Thanksgiving weekend isn't easy for me.

Yes, it is a time when we give thanks to God.  However, it is also a time of sorrow for me, as you're aware if you realize that my husband Gordon, died seven (7) years ago, on our Thanksgiving weekend.

Even so, God provided for me.

Not just this year.  But, also last year, when my great-grandson, E was born on October 9th, 2015.

With E being born, it made this year's Thanksgiving weekend easier for me to deal with.

On Saturday, E's parents had decided to have a special birthday party for E.  Yes, this was a special event, considering that E was only becoming one (1) year old!

They rented a room at a recreation centre, here in Windsor, Ontario.

I must admit, I was surprised at how many people attended E's birthday party.  Almost everyone there were relatives, including cousins for E.

It was truly a nice time.  And, I adored seeing E enjoying the celebration!

Of course, I enjoyed spending time with my daughter and the rest of her family, that's my family!

Even though it was E's 1st birthday party, I felt truly blessed.

Thinking of this, brought to mind Philippians 2:13, "For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure."

Yes, God works in us, both to will and to do of His good pleasure.

I believe this is why He allowed my great-grandson, E to be born on the weekend that was truly heart-breaking for me.

E, being born was truly a blessing.  And, seeing him is always a blessing to me.

Thank You, Lord!

G... & Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!

Before I begin today's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, I would like to say that even though today is a day of celebration, being our Canadian Thanksgiving, it is not just a happy day for me.

It is also a sad day for me.

Why?

Today, is the anniversary of my now deceased husband Gordon's death.

Even so, I would like to wish you... Happy Thanksgiving!

No matter what happens
in our lives,
we must be
thankful
to God!

Thinking of this,
brought to mind
Colossians 3:17,
"And whatsoever ye do in word or deed,
do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God and the Father by him."

Enjoy today.

And,
whatever you do
in word or deed,
do all in the name of our Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to
God and the Father by Him.

Just as I do...
even though the 10th of October
is a sad day
for me.

Until next time...

Forever...

Before I begin today's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, I would like to let you know that today is a special day.  And, it will always be special... forever.

Certainly, in a good way, since it is my great-grandson's first (1st) birthday!  Happy Birthday, E!

It's also a sad day for me.

Why?

It's the anniversary of when the hospital told my daughter and I that they wanted to end my husband Gordon's life.

Even though they agreed he was healing and getting better, they let us know that it was no longer our choice to keep Gordon alive.  They didn't want Gordon to live.

Why?

Because, they were afraid that when he was to wake up, he might be paralysed.  Unable to move.

So, they told us that they wanted his life to end.  And, made arrangements for it.

It didn't happen on October 9th, 2009... after all.  Instead, Gordon's life ended a half hour after midnight.  Meaning... 12:30 a.m. on the 10th of October.  :'(

With today being our Lord's Day, I'll be going to worship, just as I usually do.

As you know, I enjoy worshipping through music... in addition to worshipping in spirit and in truth.

Some music has resonated within me, lately.  So, I'm sharing it with you, today.

It's sung by Chris Tomlin, and is entitled, Forever.  Here's a link for you to listen to and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUH_NzfRmbs.  The lyrics are below.

Forever

Give thanks to the Lord our God and King
His love endures forever
For He is good, He is above all things
His love endures forever

Sing praise, sing praise

With a mighty hand and outstretched arm
His love endures forever
For the life that's been reborn
His love endures forever

Sing praise, sing praise

Sing praise, sing praise

Forever God is faithful
Forever God is strong
Forever God is with us
Forever

From the rising to the setting sun
His love endures forever
And by the grace of God we will carry on
His love endures forever

Sing praise, sing praise

Sing praise, sing praise

Forever God is faithful
Forever God is strong
Forever God is with us
Forever
Forever God is faithful
Forever God is strong
Forever God is with us
Forever

Sing praise, sing praise
Sing praise, sing praise
Sing praise, sing praise
Sing praise, sing praise

Forever God is faithful
Forever God is strong
Forever God is with us
Forever

Forever You are faithful
Forever You are strong
Forever You are with us
Forever

Just as the lyrics say, forever God is faithful, forever God is strong.  Forever God is with us.  Forever.

For this, I am truly thankful.

After all, He has helped me and been with me, throughout my life.  In good times, and in not so good times.

Thinking about how thankful I am, brought to mind, 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."

In everything, I will always give thanks... for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus... concerning me... and you.

I have and will always give thanks to Him... for being with me, even though the horrible times of my life.

Of course, I will always give thanks for the good times of my life.

Thank You, Lord!

Love Never Fails You...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be discussing something else that happened at that fund-raising event that I attended, last SONday.

To me, it was truly a wonderful event.

Not just because I had received a gift of the dinner ticket from my friend, C.  And, not just because everyone there was helping the family in need... although I was glad everyone did.

Something happened that had never happened to me, in the past.  But, made me very happy.

My friend, C's friend, A... who was seated at our table, along with her friends G, and L, said something that shocked me.

You should know that it had been a long time, since I had seen A, in the past.  So, I didn't think she even recalled what she discussed.

A told her friends, G and L... that I had authored and published a book, entitled... Love Never Fails You...

Something happened then, that I never expected to happen.

A told me that she wanted to purchase a copy of Love Never Fails You...

Afterwards, she told her friends more information.  Then, A's friend, L asked me about what I had written.

Later, L told me that she also wanted to purchase a copy of Love Never Fails You...

Wow!

How amazing this was.  What a wonderful gift it was, that I was receiving these requests of these women who wanted to purchase copies of Love Never Fails You...

Even though I didn't speak out, I silently thanked God.

After all, He touched the hearts of those women who sat with us, at the fund-raiser event.  Not to just be supportive of the family in need, who arranged the fund-raiser.

They also wanted to help me.  Even though they wanted to help themselves having something Christian to read.

For this, I gave thanks to Him... not just at the fund-raiser.  But, also at home.

This made me think of Ephesians 5:20, "Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;"

Yes, we need to give thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

And, I do give thanks.  Basically, all the time.  Every day.

I praise Him, always.  For He always shows me how He loves me.

For this, feel blessed... and truly thankful to Him.  And, always will be.

Thank You, Lord!

Gift!

If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday, you'll know that I attended a fund-raiser dinner on SONday.

As I mentioned yesterday, my friend, C treated me by paying for my dinner ticket.  Thank you, C!

If you read LwL yesterday, you'll also know that both C and I purchased some tickets for a 50/50 draw.  However, now I'll let you know that everyone at our table also purchased tickets for draws for various items offered to be won.

Did I win anything?  No.

Did anyone else at our table win anything?  Yes.

My friend, C won two (2) items.  Plus, her friend, A also won two (2) items!

Even though I never won anything, and found out there was some screw up over my tickets, I was truly happy that I had purchased those tickets.

To me, I did so not truly to win.  After all, I rarely ever win a draw of any kind.

To me, it was a gift I gave to the family who held the fund-raiser.

You see, the family holding the fund-raiser did not purchase those gifts to be given in draws.  Apparently, people donated those gifts so that the draws could raise funds.

My friend, C turned out to be one of those people who donated something to be won by whoever used their ticket for the draw of what she had given.

Wow!

Until that afternoon, I had not known that information.

I must admit, it truly touched my heart.

After all, my friend, C... had given the family a gift.  And, had given me a gift (the dinner ticket).

Thinking about how wonderful my friend, C was for giving gifts, made me happy.  But, also made me think about how God used her, to help others.

This brought to mind, James 1:17, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning."

Yes, every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning!

It was obvious that God touched my friend, C's heart and helped her to do what she did.  He literally made her a wonderful gift to others, to whom she gave love.

Like the family in need.  And, me.

For this, I praise God.  Thank You, Lord!

Giving...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll let you know about something that happened last SONday.

In the afternoon, I had a call from my friend, C.

C let me know that she wanted me to attend a fund-raiser dinner.

It was being held for a friend of hers, whose husband has had terrible physical problems.  Apparently, he's not well, at this time.  And, his life may end.

My friend, C picked me up and drove me to the Legion in Tecumseh, Ontario, where the fund-raiser dinner was being held.

C insisted that I did not need to give her money for the dinner ticket she had for me.  She insisted that it was her treat to me.  I have to say, I was truly thankful to my friend, C.  Thank you, dear sis!

On our way into the Legion, we both purchased some tickets for a 50/50 draw that was being held.

When we entered the Legion, C's boyfriend, T waived at us.  He had a table for us.

Not just for the three (3) of us!

C's friend, A also arrived.  She didn't arrive alone.

A's friends L, and G joined us as well!

I must admit, I enjoyed my time with everyone.  And, enjoyed the meal, also!  Thank you, C!

Many other people also attended the fund-raiser event.

While the family who held the event were happy, so were we.  We thanked God!

After all, it was our Lord's Day, and there were many people who were there to help the family in need.

Thinking of this, brought to mind, Psalms 92:1, "It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High:"

It's wonderful that there were people there, who gave thanks unto the Lord.  We even spoke about singing praises unto His name!

While there, my friend C took me and introduced her friend and her husband, who has been battling to keep his life.

It was wonderful to meet them.  Especially, since I had already been praying for them.

My friend, please pray for this couple.

Yes, the husband's life is at risk.  Plus, the wife is suffering BIG time.

Thank you, dear friend.

May God bless you for praying for them.

Jesus Said...

Yesterday, I addressed the topic I'll be discussing today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

What's the topic?

Islam.

There's an article that to me, is upsetting.

It's by dailymail.co.uk and is entitled, Muslim teacher is suing a school for 'race discrimination' after she was sacked for objecting to a video of 9/11 being shown to 11 year oldshttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3806551/Muslim-teacher-suing-school-race-discrimination-sacked-objecting-video-9-11-shown-11-year-olds.html?ito=social-facebook.

I must admit that to me, it is totally disgusting that the Muslim teacher would be suing a school.  After all, they only were teaching truth.

Was she trying to claim that Muslims are different, today?

In the past, I've commented that we cannot trust those who claim to be 'refugees'.

Don't believe me?

Here is a link by madworldnews.com entitled, Police Pull Over 'Islamic Refugee', Horrified To See What Was In The Carhttp://madworldnews.com/police-islamic-refugee/

If you read that article, you'll have read this:  Judicial Watch indicates that a deputy sheriff in Luna County, New Mexico pulled over an unidentified “Islamic refugee” for an undisclosed reason. Luckily for everyone involved, the minor traffic infraction turned into so much more when the officer found plans for a gas pipeline in her possession.

Sigh...

Here's another article that is upsetting to me.  It's by jewsnews.co.il and is entitled, This picture shows a sex slave auction - in Saudi Arabiahttp://www.jewsnews.co.il/2016/09/25/this-picture-shows-a-sex-slave-auction-in-saudi-arabia.html.

If you read that article, you will have read:  The photo was found on a cell phone belonging to a jihadist who was killed in the Iraqi city of Al-Ahirqat, which IS took over in 2014. The woman is believed to be Iraqi, according to the British authorities.

Members of the Iraqi army found the picture on the deceased jihadist’s phone as they liberated the town. They now claim that it is a picture of one of the sex slave auctions held in Saudi Arabia.

Sigh...

Am I the only person who feels heartbroken understanding the truth about Islam?

Am I the only person who realizes that Islamic people, hate infidels (people who are not believers in Islam)?

Am I the only person who wonders if we should consider Muslims dangerous to us who are infidels?

Hopefully, not.

Is it okay to be upset?  Yes.

Even so, should we hate those people?  No.

Just as we read, in Matthew 5:44, "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;"

Yes, Jesus told us to love our enemies, bless them that curse us, do good to those who hate us, and pray for them which despitefully use us and persecute us.

Since Muslims are attacking, raping, kidnapping, murdering and trying to change our lives here in my country, and other countries in the world, we must realize that even though we may consider them to be enemies, we need to love them, bless them, do good to them, and pray for them.

Just as I do.

Do you?

Hopefully, so.  For if you do, you will be blessed.

Believe Me?

If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday, you'll know that I mentioned that I didn't really know if the leader of our country is Christian.

To be honest, in my opinion, I don't believe he is.  Even though he may claim to be.

Why do I feel this way?

Because if our Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau was truly a saved/born-again Christian, he'd be reading God's word, the Bible.

I also believe he would understand the truth about Islam.  But, I don't believe he does.

On Monday, March 14th, something terrible happened in Toronto

A Muslim terrorist stabbed a couple of soldiers at the Canadian Armed Forces recruitment office.  He said he did it in the name of Allah... his god.

I praise my God those soldiers weren't killed.  But, I truly feel badly they were injured.

Our Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's senior advisor... Gerald Butts, thought it would be funny to publish a joke about stabbing.

Check out this link by therebel.media entitled, SICK:  Trudeau's top advisor Gerald Butts tweeted "stabbing" joke after Islamic attack on Canadian Soldiers:  http://www.therebel.media/sick_trudeau_s_top_advisor_gerald_butts?utm_campaign=geraldbuttsstab&utm_medium=email&utm_source=therebel.

If you checked it out, and watched the video attached, you'll know that Justin Trudeau tweeted: "Canadians - and the @CanadianForces - will not be intimidated by terror & hate.  May the CAF members injured yesterday make a full recovery."

In my opinion, this proves that Justin Trudeau is truly sick-minded.  And, is in need of learning truth.

I believe this proves it is true what I've said in the past about how Justin Trudeau is obviously in support of Islam and doesn't care that Muslims are truly taught in Islam to kill infidels... just as the Muslim terrorist tried to do, while claiming he did it for Allah... his god.

His god?

His god is not my God!

There is truly only one God.

Just as we read, in Isaiah 44:6, "Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God."

Yes, He is the first, and He is the last; beside Him, there is NO God.

Muslims claim that we have the same God.  But, that is not the case.

Their god didn't tell them to do what our God did.

Our God told us to preach the gospel to all the creatures of the earth.

Allah, the Islamic god told Muslims to convert everyone in the world to Islam... peaceably, if possible.  If not, they shall cut off our heads.

Meaning, they can kill us if we do not agree to become Muslim.

Just as they are doing, even though many people don't believe it.

Please pray for our Prime Minister.  I believe he needs to become saved.  Plus, I believe he needs to understand that he should not be supporting Islam.

Thank you, dear friend.

May God bless you.
