If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday, you'll know that over Labour Day weekend, I watched the Downton Abbey Marathon that was shown on the Detroit Public Broadcasting Service (PBS).
Hopefully, you realize that I have adored that six (6) year series that I previously watched... and watched again on the Labour Day weekend.
By this being shown, I felt like God knew that I needed support. His support.
I felt like He provided this series for me to watch, so that I could feel relaxed and blessed.
Yes, I truly felt blessed. Much like all the participants in the series were, when their lives were all restored by the end of the series.
Just so you know, a wedding took place on New Year's Eve.
On that same day, a Downton Abbey worker gave birth to a child. Her husband on the series was also a worker at Downton Abbey.
Well, I won't say anything more. Hopefully, if the series is shown again, you'll watch it.
Again, I will say that I am trusting God to restore me... and my life.
Thinking of this, brought to mind, Joel 2:25-26, "And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed."
Yes, God allowed my life to fall apart. But, He shall provide for me, always. When my life is fully restored, I will be satisfied. And, I'll praise the name of the Lord my God. Plus, I'll never be ashamed.
At the end of the Downton Abbey series, the workers all sang a song that touched my heart. Auld Lang Syne.
As I said before, I am truly thankful that God provided for me, by being able to not just feel heart broken over the Labour Day weekend, but that He allowed me to feel loved by Him... in many ways.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...
