Forgiven!

Before I begin today's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, I'd like to say that if my mom were alive, today would be her birthday.  I truly miss her... and love her.  I always will.

Yesterday, I was blessed once again by a sister in the Lord.  She drove me to church, just as she had a week ago.

For this, I was truly thankful.  Thank you, dear sis!

Once again, I was able to worship with my church family.  For this, I was also thankful!

Like last week, not everyone spoke with me.  But, some did.

After our church service, a brother in the Lord, spoke with me.  He's a retired pastor.  And, a true blessing.

He asked me how I was.  I responded that I am truly in need of healing.

He laughed and asked me why.

I told him I didn't want to discuss it with him, but I did let him know that I have had continuous problems since my past surgeries.  Plus, I told him that I was being referred to surgeons in London, Ontario, because I had been told I need two (2) more surgeries.

He laughed, again.

I wondered if he didn't really think I needed healing.  After all, he'd been like this with me, in the past.

However, this time he told me to give it to God.  I let him know, I already have!

Why he would think I haven't done so, is beyond me.

Why do some people think I do not need healing?  If they knew my physical situation, they would know I truly do!

To be honest, I must admit... I felt insulted.  And, rather sad that a church family member would treat me this way.

In any case, I silently forgave him.

Why?

Because Jesus told us that we need to forgive.

Just as we read, in Matthew 6:14, "For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:"

If we forgive people's trespasses, our heavenly Father will also forgive us.

Forgiveness, is absolutely necessary!

Do you forgive?

Have you forgiven anyone/everyone who has hurt you?

Hopefully, so.  I pray you have.

For if you have, you will also be forgiven.

Plus, at some point in time, we'll spend time together with our Lord... for this will mean that we both have forgiven... anyone/everyone.

Praise God!  Hallelujah!

Until next time...
