Please...

Today, I am sharing something with you, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

While I don't always repeatedly post about e-mails I've received, I am sort of doing so, today.

The e-mail I received was from American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ).  It isn't referring to the same e-mail I shared with you last week, so I am sharing it with you, today.  After all, it's very important.

Here's the e-mail message I received (I copied/pasted it):

Lynn,

Young girls and Christian attorneys face new dangers in Kenya.

In the next 24 hours, we're taking direct action to defend them.

Recently, a Christian human rights attorney, his client, and their taxi driver were kidnapped coming out of court in Kenya. Their bodies were found in a river days later.

Christian attorneys in Kenya face corrupt killings as they defend human rights.

Our attorneys on the ground in Kenya are defending defenseless girls - as young as 10 - who are forced into child marriages, mutilated, and sexually enslaved. We're in court battling corrupt politicians who threaten them.

As our Christian attorneys in Kenya face new dangers, we're working with the judiciary, police, and community leaders to protect the persecuted.

Today, we're sending a critical legal letter to Kenya's Ambassador to protect Christian attorneys, laying out the international laws and obligations that must be met.

We urgently need you to add your name now.

Sign Our Petition: Defend Christian Attorneys from Death.

Jordan Sekulow
ACLJ Executive Director

Having read this e-mail, I clicked on the link and signed the petition.  Our brothers and sisters in the Lord, are needing help.

It's truly upsetting to me, that people are being murdered.

Should they be?  Absolutely, not.  NO!

We read this, in Deuteronomy 5:17, "Thou shalt not kill."

Thou shalt not kill!

God's Word tells us this, in the list of the Ten Commandments.  Just as we read, in today's Bible verse.

So, why do people murder others?

Well, there's probably several reasons.  But, one (1) reason I believe is important, is because the murderer probably hasn't gained salvation and become a child of God.

Why do I think this?

I believe this, because those who are not a child of God, have a different god.  Satan.

Anyone who hasn't trusted in/believed upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, has not become family of Him.

When they are not part of His family, they don't read His Word, the Bible.  They don't learn what God will do for them.  And, they don't have a change of heart.  They don't become different, the way the Bible tells us we will.

Instead, they live in Satan's world, and do what they feel they want to do.

What do I do when I think of this?

Well, I do what I can to plant seeds for Christ.  I preach the gospel to all the creatures of the world, just as He would have us do.

Plus... I pray.

Please, join me in prayer for all unbelievers.

Thank you.  May God bless you.

Until next time...
