Mercy...

Hopefully, you read Life with Lynnie (LwL), yesterday.

If you didn't, I suggest you do.  This way, you will understand what happened to me, being placed on two (2) types of insulin.

Even though I was able to stop taking the 24 hour type insulin and had my vision problem healed, I still had to take the type of insulin, before each and every meal I ate.  Always.  :'(

Yes, it made me cry even thinking about being placed on insulin.

After all, I wasn't happy about having to take that medication.  Plus, I absolutely hated the idea of having to give myself needle injections, every day... before every meal.

As I mentioned, my sugar level decreased.  It actually went down to a level that was on the verge of being too low.

So, instead of approaching the diabetes doctor, who never helped me, I approached someone else.  My brother in the Lord, who originally placed me on both types of insulin.

I wrote a letter, copied the information on my sugar levels before each meal, and faxed it to him.  I did this on a Saturday.

A couple days later, on Monday morning, his office called me.  I was told he wanted to see me in the afternoon of that same day.

Why?

I had asked him to remove me from the meal type insulin.  And, had suggested I be placed on Januvia, instead.

Arriving at his office, I was told I needed to see a nurse.

The nurse and I discussed all the information.  She checked out my sugar level.  Plus, she checked out the tester I used, regularly.

After about an hour, she let me know that she would recommend to my brother in the Lord physician, that I be removed from the insulin and be placed on Januvia.

When I saw my brother in the Lord physician, he at first teased me.  He suggested I stay on the insulin.  Then, after seeing me feel awful, he let me know I was being removed from the insulin and placed on the Januvia pill.

I was so very happy!  And, thankful!

Thankful to the nurse, my brother in the Lord, and of course... even more importantly... to my Lord!

Again, I blessed our Lord!

Just as we are told to do, in Psalm 103:2-4, "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;"

I bless my Lord with all my soul.  I forget not all His benefits.  He forgives all my iniquities, and He heals all my diseases.  He redeemeth my life from destruction, and crowneth me with loving kindness and tender mercies.

For this, I will always be thankful.

Thankful to Him, for the loving kindness He has shown me by helping me, even though I am not yet fully healed.  And, for the tender mercies He has shown me.

Thank You, Lord!

Thank You, for loving me, and providing for me.

Please know that I love You!  And, always will.  Always...

Until next time...
