Happy C. H.!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL),
whenever it is a special day, I try to celebrate it.
Like, today!
While today is not a holiday for anyone
who lives in various countries and/or cities,
we who live in Ontario, Canada
along with some other areas
celebrate our
Civic Holiday
on August 1st of each year.
Happy Civic Holiday!
If you'd like to know more
about our
Civic Holiday,
click on this link:
While August 1st
is what some people would call
a pagan holiday,
our government has given us
a Monday holiday,
giving most people a
long weekend.
No matter what, we need to not
address this issue, since
we have time off.
Thinking of this
brought to mind,
Colossians 2:16,
"Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink,
or in respect of an holyday,
or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:"
Our Lord knows
that even though we look to Him,
we also need to deal with
what some people would call...
an everyday life
controlled by our government.
Even though our Civic Holiday
is not a Christian holy day,
enjoy your time
on this long weekend
with family and friends.

Until next time...
