Happy Father's Day!

Today, is a special day!

Yes, it is
our Lord's Day!
A day of
worship!

Plus,
it is
Father's Day!
Well,
at least,
here in Canada,
and in some
other countries!

I wish each
and every one of you
dad's...
Happy Father's Day!

This is an important day, when we can let our dad know he is
very important to us.  After all, unless he proceeded to do what
God
would have
him do,
by
creating us,
with mom...
we
wouldn't
be here.

Knowing
God
provided
a way
for us
to be born,
is
absolutely
wonderful...
in my mind.

Thank You,
Lord!

Of course, we
need
to honour
our parents.

Thinking of this,
brought to mind,
Ephesians 6:2, "Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;"

How I praise Him!
He knows who will be saved.
And, who won't.
He knows us,
even before we are born.

For this, I praise Him.

And, always will!

Happy Father's Day!

Until next time...

Only Time, Will Tell...

Every now and then, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I discuss things that were posted on Facebook (FB).  Like now!

My FB friend posted a YouTube video that I found to be very special.

It was so very special that it actually brought tears to my eyes.  And, touched my heart.

The video is entitled, An Unexpected Letter.  Here is a link for you to listen to and/or read it:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_mJcWcnvIs.

Hopefully, it touched your heart, also.

Thinking of what was said in the video, made me think of John 1:14, "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

Yes, the Word was made flesh... our Lord, Jesus Christ.

He dwelt among us.  And, we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father... full of grace and truth.

How wonderful this is.

If our Lord, Jesus Christ did not come to earth, He would not have fulfilled God the Father's plan of redemption for us.  And, we would not have had a way to become saved.

How do we gain salvation?  How are we saved?

We become saved, when we trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Of course, we need to repent of our sin.

By doing so, Jesus pays the price for our sin.

For this, I will always praise God.  For without Him, I wouldn't have salvation.

Do you?

Are you saved?

If not, I feel badly for you, for you won't be in Heaven for eternity.  Instead, you will be in Hell, separated from God, with no chance of escape.

But, if you're also saved, like I am... then I'll look forward to seeing you, in Heaven after our lives here on earth, end.

Only time, will tell.

Until next time...

Can!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) today is the last time I'll discuss being sick.

Just so you know, on the evening before I posted here on LwL about being sick and suffering, a Facebook (FB) friend of mine messaged me.  To me, it was surprising.

Because my FB friend let me know that they thought I wasn't well and needed prayer.

This truly touched my heart.

Why?

I knew God had to be involved.  Otherwise, my FB friend wouldn't have had any idea I truly needed prayer.

When I responded, I let this FB friend know that I was truly sick.  And, needed prayer.

I thanked my FB friend.

After this friend read the LwL entry that I posted a few hours later, I was messaged, again.

I was told that while not everyone knows how awful it is to be not well, for a long time.  My friend let me know that they understood the suffering, for it's been common in my friend's life.

Sigh...  I felt badly for my friend.  Just so you know, I've prayed for my friend, for a long time.

Here is something else my friend said (I copied/pasted):

...it's just so inspiring to know that even with the situation you are in, your faith in JESUS only gets stronger, that your belief that your friends and I are praying for you gets more powerful, and that your determination to still spread The WORD gets more solid. You are awesome, kidd-o, and have always been an inspiration to me and so many others, and thank you so much for that---and thank YOU, LORD JESUS for my wonderful sister Lynn.

Why did reading this make me feel blessed... and encourage me?

No one had said anything like this to me, before.

Well, as I've said... I've been sick, in pain, suffering and truly haven't had much strength.  But, our Lord, has helped me... each and every day.

Just as we read, in Philippians 4:13, " I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."

It seems He gives me enough strength daily, to do what I do here on LwL.  Just as my FB friend said, to encourage me.

Please know that if you don't see entries on LwL for a while, it means I went to hospital.

Hopefully, this will not happen.  For God is our healer.

But, prayer is still needed.

Not just for me.  Also, for my FB friend.

Thank you, my friend... for praying.

Until next time...

A Kiss...

If you've been reading Life with Lynnie (LwL), you'll know I haven't been feeling well.

When I felt the worst, I found myself thinking negatively, in a human way.

Hey, I'm not perfect.  But then, God told us no one is.

At that time, I found myself so physically in pain, etc. that I actually asked God if He loved me enough to heal me.  :(

Why?  Because He hadn't yet... even though I had asked Him to do so, in the name of Jesus, several hundred times.

I apologized, to Him.... immediately!

I actually let Him know that I knew He loves me.  And, reminded Him that I love Him.

But, I was feeling worse... and worse... and worse... physically.

I was glad I had apologized to Him.  I knew in my heart, I should not have asked Him, what I did.

When I woke up the next morning, a song was on my heart and mind.  It resonated within me.  After a couple hours, of this happening, I realized it had to be God speaking to me.

So, I checked it out.   It is called... Tiny Bubbles.  Here is a link for you to listen and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlCiDEXuxxA.  The lyrics are below.

Tiny Bubbles

Tiny bubbles (tiny bubbles)
In the wine (in the wine)
Make me happy (make me happy)
Make me feel fine (make me feel fine)

Tiny bubbles (tiny bubbles)
Make me warm all over
With a feeling that I'm gonna
Love you till the end of time

So here's to the golden moon
And here's to the silver sea
And mostly here's a toast
To you and me

Tiny bubbles (tiny bubbles)
In the wine (in the wine)
Make me happy (make me happy)
Make me feel fine (make me feel fine)

Tiny bubbles (tiny bubbles)
Make me warm all over
With a feeling that I'm gonna
Love you till the end of time

Tiny bubbles (tiny bubbles)
In the wine (in the wine)
Make me happy (make me happy)
Make me feel fine (make me feel fine)

Tiny bubbles (tiny bubbles)
Make me warm all over
With a feeling that I'm gonna
Love you till the end of time

(This wasn't recorded:
So here's to the ginger lei
I give to you today
And here's a kiss
That will not fade away)

Once I checked out the music a couple of hours later, it no longer resonated within me.  So, I knew God had put that music on my heart and mind.

After reading the lyrics, I realized that He did this to tell me... that He's gonna love me... till the end of time.  And, He gave me a kiss... that will not fade away.

Love from and to Him, is so very important.

Just as we read, in 1 John 4:19, "We love him, because he first loved us."

Yes, I love Him.  But, He loved me first.

Just as He loves you.

Have you loved Him enough to gain salvation?

God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

He loves you.  Even if you haven't yet gained salvation.

But, please... come to Christ, today... to gain your salvation, by trusting in/believing upon Him.

Do it today.  Tomorrow, may be too late.

Until next time...
