Life...

Like normal, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'm saying that I'll be going to worship, today.

I praise God... that I can do this!

I also praise God that He helps me to share hymns with you!

The hymn I am sharing with you today, is by Frances R. Havergal and Philip P. Bliss.  It is entitled, I Gave My Life for Thee.  Here's a link for you to listen to and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1TjUsi7X28U.  The lyrics are below.

I Gave My Life for Thee

I gave My life for thee, My precious blood I shed,
That thou might ransomed be, and raised up from the dead
I gave, I gave My life for thee, what hast thou given for Me?
I gave, I gave My life for thee, what hast thou given for Me?

My Father’s house of light, My glory circled throne
I left for earthly night, for wanderings sad and lone;
I left, I left it all for thee, hast thou left aught for Me?
I left, I left it all for thee, hast thou left aught for Me?

I suffered much for thee, more than thy tongue can tell,
Of bitterest agony, to rescue thee from hell.
I’ve borne, I’ve borne it all for thee, what hast thou borne for Me?
I’ve borne, I’ve borne it all for thee, what hast thou borne for Me?

And I have brought to thee, down from My home above,
Salvation full and free, My pardon and My love;
I bring, I bring rich gifts to thee, what hast thou brought to Me?
I bring, I bring rich gifts to thee, what hast thou brought to Me?

Yes, our Lord, Jesus Christ gave His life for me.  For this, I am truly thankful!

Just as we read, in Romans 5:8, " But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

God commendeth His love towards us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

How awesome is this?!

Jesus came to earth, to fulfill God the Father's plan of redemption for us.  So we could be saved!

Talk about love!

Could there ever be anything of more love than this?

Hopefully, you agree.

Hopefully, you have given yourself to Jesus, and have repented. After all, He gave his life for anyone/everyone who will do that.

Hopefully, so.  By doing this, you'll have gained salvation, and will have become blessed, my friend.

What a blessing!

Until next time...
