Just as I mentioned here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), Monday was a special day.
I should let you know that a few months ago, a friend and I went to the Legion on Howard Ave, here in Windsor. Unfortunately, we didn't stay there for dinner.
Why? They were serving some food I was allergic to. And, my friend, S didn't like what they were serving.
So, we left there and visited with each other at a nearby Tim Hortons!
However, a couple weeks ago, S called me and suggested we go to the Senior Dinner, at the Legion on Monday, May 23, 2016. So, we did!
We enjoyed so much time talking, with each other.
Just so you know, I had Christian wallet calendars with me. I normally give them out in the New Year, But, I hadn't been there, so I hadn't done it.
Knowing that another couple friends of mine, C and T, were going to join S and I closer to meal time, I piled some of those wallet calendars on two (2) table spots in front of seats, beside me.
A lady looked at them, when she and her husband were returning to their table after doing some dancing. She asked if she could have some. I told her, yes. Plus, I let her know that I will distribute them while everyone's eating dinner.
In fact, that's what I did.
I like to do whatever I can for Christ. After all, the calendars have the gospel message on it.
Just as we read, in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
In the past, I've never had anyone not accept a wallet calendar from me. But, on Monday, a man refused one.
I let him know it was okay. And, went on giving some to everyone else at his table.
Many tables, had many people who were happy to receive those calendars. Many admitted they were Christian.
For this, I praise God!
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...
