Fort McMurray...

Today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be discussing something that I am praising God for.

Fort McMurray.

It was terrible reading, seeing and listening to news regarding the fire that overtook Fort McMurray.  Not just for me.

A neighbour friend of mine let me know that his granddaughter, her husband and child (his great-grandson), live in Fort McMurray.  Well, at least... they did.  But, aren't able to, now.

When we discussed it, I mentioned to him that my friend, I... who I've known since we were both 13 years old, also had two (2) relatives, and their family members, who lived in Fort McMurray.  Yes, I know them.

This meant that between us, we knew three (3) families, who lived there.  And, were affected by the fire that wiped out Fort McMurray.

Online, I found a link by edmontonjournal.com entitled, Biggest victory was getting everyone safely out of Fort McMurray:  Premier Rachel Notleyhttp://edmontonjournal.com/news/local-news/first-damage-assessment-says-80-per-cent-of-homes-destroyed-in-beacon-hill-in-fort-mcmurray.

Hopefully, you read the article, and watched the video.

If so, you'll know that no one has been injured or killed by the fire that destroyed Fort McMurray.  For this, I praise God!

Apparently, the roadway... even south towards Edmonton, is open and people are able to make their way to other cities.  Hallelujah!

While this whole issue was upsetting to me, and many other people, God sure took care of everyone.  His Grace helped absolutely everyone.   Thank You, Lord!

Thinking of this, brought to mind Hebrews 4:16, "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."

Although many of us Christians, weren't there in Fort McMurray, I believe our thoughts and prayer was fulfilled.  Yes, I believe He fully answered prayer that was done by all who belong to God.

Everyone who prayed, came boldly unto the throne of grace, that we and all involved obtained mercy, and grace to help in time of need.

It makes me want to cry thinking of this.  Not being upset.  Being happy.

Happy that God answered prayer, in a more unusual way, then I have seen in a very long time.

Everyone in Fort McMurray, may have lost their homes, and personal belongings.  However, they and their families lives are still here on earth!

For this, I will always praise God.  Thank Him.  And, be grateful for His grace and mercy.

Hallelujah!

Until next time...
