If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) a week ago, you'll know that last Wednesday, May 11th, was my granddaughter, A's birthday.  This is when she became six (6) years old!  Praise God!

Even though I wasn't feeling fabulous that day, I was glad I was feeling well enough to see A, and our family members.  Thank You, Lord!

Earlier in the day, there was something I needed to do.  And, was able to do.

Even though I've been off work as a realtor, for about 3 1/2 years, due to repeated surgeries, and even though I actually did a listing and sale for a friend, in March, I still pay monthly fees to my real estate board.  And, try to attend each and every meeting scheduled.

Yes, I keep hoping that some day soon, I'll be physically able to even lift my sign frames.  And, be able physically to do work, again.

I'm actually praying that God will provide me with someone to work with as a team.

This way, I can do what I can do, that a partnership would need for me to do.  That way, I would have a work partner would be able to do things I can't physically do.

Anyway, going back to last Wednesday, I want to let you know I attended a membership meeting.

Being lunchtime, we enjoyed a delicious meal, together.  And, addressed issues that needed to be dealt with.  Just, as we normally do.

There was a special reason I was happy to be there.

A realtor friend of mine, L... asked me to save a seat for her.  I did.

Before she arrived, a realtor I hadn't seen in a while, came by and said 'hello' to me.  I thought this was very nice of him.  Later, God blessed him when his name was called, during a gift draw!

When L arrived, I was truly happy to see her!

Not because we normally sit together at meetings.  But, because she was alive... and well.

For this, I praised God!

Talk about answered prayer!

You see, L is Canadian now.  And, has been for many years.

However, she and her friend D, were both born in Taiwan.  Every couple of years, they go there, to visit family.

Because they like Japan, they have gone there a couple of times, during their trip across the ocean.

On this trip, they spent time in the southern part of Japan.  The area where the earthquake happened.

While L was away, I prayed that she and D, had finished their visit to that area, before the earthquake happened.  For quite a while, I did not know.

Eventually, I found out that three (3) days after they left that part of Japan, was when the earthquake happened.

Sigh...  Aww...

It is so upsetting to know that the earthquake happened, there... at all.  What a tragedy!

It's upsetting to know that people suffer and some die, during difficult situations like that.  Please know I pray for them.

I have to admit, I was so very happy that L and D, were not there, when it happened.

Yes, God not only protected them, but I realized that my prayer had been answered.  Positively!

Thank You, Lord!

Thinking of this, brought to mind 1 John 5:14, "And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:"

Yes, I have confidence in Him.  I realize that because I ask according to His will, He hears me.

Thank You, Lord, that you answered my prayer for L and D, even though they are not Christians.

Yes, I pray that they will come to Christ.  Just as L's daughter, has.

I'm trusting God to provide salvation for L, D, and everyone else I know and come across... including Muslims.  People, who have not yet gained salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

That's how easy it is.

Hopefully, you have gained salvation.  If so, I'll look forward to seeing you in Heaven, some day.

Until next time...
