Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), there were a some things I forgot to mention, yesterday.
You probably know that I'll mention that at the end of our worship service on SONday, we had communion. After all, it was the first Sunday of May!
As I've said in the past, I adore taking communion.
We do this, in remembrance of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Plus, of course, we've cleansed ourselves by confessing any/all sin we have had in our lives, since the last time we took communion.
Later, I drove to the retirement centre where my friend, P has been staying since she had her hip replacement surgery. Her walking has improved, but she is still in need of more healing.
Plus, of course, as you probably are aware, she needs healing from the stress of grief. Especially, since both her son, and her husband died, within the past few weeks.
It wasn't a long visit with P.
You see, another friend had shown up and planned to take her out for a while. This actually made me happy for, P... even though she didn't seem happy about the idea of going out.
When I arrived home, I enjoyed the rest of my afternoon.
I took a short nap. 40 winks, to be sure!
Isn't it amazing how God provides?
Just as we read, in Luke 12:28-31, "If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?
29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you."
He clothes us, and we do not have to worry about what we shall eat and/or drink. We don't need to have a doubtful mind.
He knows our needs.
And, when we seek the kingdom of God, all these things shall be added unto us.
Praise God! Hallelujah!
For this, I'll always be thankful! After all, He provides not just for me, but for all who belong to Him.
Do you belong to Him?
Have you gained salvation, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ? After all, He came to earth, to fulfill God the Father's plan of redemption for us. For all who would believe upon Him.
Hopefully, you have gained salvation.
If not, please do so, today... for tomorrow may be too late.
Until next time...
