When...

Today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be letting you know I'm going to worship with my church family.  Just as I normally, do!

Hmmm... hopefully, you read Tuesday, March 22nd's entry here on LwL.  If not, here is a link for you to check it out:  The Passion....

Yes, it was about the live musical in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, entitled, The Passion

And, it ended with everyone joining in singing... When The Saints Go Marching In.  Here is a link sung by, The Weavers... for you to listen to and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xv2ldEFvQiw.  The lyrics are below.  After all, on SONdays, I enjoy worshipping in spirit and in truth, plus through music!

When The Saints Go Marching In

We are traveling in the footsteps
Of those who've gone before
But we'll all be reunited (but if we stand reunited)
On a new and sunlit shore (then a new world is in store)

O when the saints go marching in
When the saints go marching in
O Lord I want to be in that number
When the saints go marching in

And when the sun begins to shine
And when the sun begins to shine
O Lord I want to be in that number
When the sun begins to shine

O when the trumpet sounds the call
O when the trumpet sounds the call
O Lord I want to be in that number
When the trumpet sounds the call

Some say this world of trouble
Is the only one we need
But I'm waiting for that morning
When the new world is revealed

Oh, when the new world is revealed
Oh, when the new world is revealed
Oh, Lord I want to be in that number
When the new world is revealed

Yes, when the saints go marching in
When the saints go marching in
O Lord I want to be in that number
When the saints go marching in

When this was being sung, it also touched my heart.

You see, when I was a child, living in Detroit, Michigan, USA... I came to know Jesus while attending Sunday school.  It was there, when I came to love Him.

And, I recall this music being played by a musical group at our church.  Plus, I even learned to sing it.

I was a young child.  Only about four (4) or five (5) years old, at the time.

Thinking about how Jesus loves children, brought to mind, Matthew 19:14, "But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven."

Yes, we know that Jesus said, suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me:  for of such is the kingdom of Heaven.

Jesus wants little children to come unto Him.  When we do, we become... saints!

Does this mean that only children become saved?

No.

People of any age can gain salvation, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ (Acts 16:31).  But, even people of other ages, are usually like little children, when they gain salvation.

For, it is then, when we all come to know Jesus, and learn about Him.

My friend, are you saved?

If not, I won't see you in Heaven, for you will spend eternity in Hell, separated from God, with no escape.

However, if you have gained salvation, you will spend eternity in Heaven, with God!  Just as I will.

I hope to see you, there!

Until next time...
