If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday, you're probably aware that I'll discuss what happened on SONday.
Just as I was able to do at times in the past, I went and picked up my granddaughter, A.
Together, we entered our church building. Yes, we went into the sanctuary.
When it was time, A went to be with her Sunday school teachers. And, of course, with other children.
A absolutely adores this.
I must admit, I'm truly happy. Not just that she likes to spend time with other children.
I'm even happier that she enjoys learning more and more about Jesus!
While she was in Sunday school, we adults worshipped. We worshipped in spirit and in truth. And, through music!
Then, we did something I absolutely love.
You see, yesterday was the first SONday of the month. So, we had communion!
For this, I praise God. Hallelujah!
It truly touches my heart to take communion.
Why? Because whenever we have communion, we are remembering our Lord. And, His death.
Just as we read, in 1 Corinthians 11:26, "For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come."
Why is it important to remember His death?
He's our Lord. Our Lord, who gave His life and paid the price of the sin of the world... for all who believe upon Him.
He paid for my sin. For this, I'm thankful.
Did He pay for yours?
He did. But, if you haven't accepted him as your Saviour, you need to do so. For this is when your sin will be paid for... by Jesus.
My friend, if you haven't already gained salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ... then please, do so today. Tomorrow may be too late.
Until next time...
