To many people who read, Life with Lynnie (LwL), Easter was wonderful.
Hopefully, it was for you. And, for your family.
It wasn't for everyone. Even though some people were/are fellow Christians.
On the evening of Resurrection Sunday... Easter Sunday, something happened that I feel I need to tell you about here on LwL.
I read an article posted on Facebook (FB). It is by allenbwest.com and is entitled, BREAKING: At least 65 dead, hundreds injured in Easter suicide blast at park...: http://www.allenbwest.com/2016/03/breaking-at-least-65-dead-hundreds-injured-in-easter-suicide-blast-at-park/.
How disgusting is this?!
If you read the article, you'll know that the beginning of the article stated, "On this Easter Sunday, we have horrific news to report from Lahore, Pakistan. More than 65 people have been killed and more than 300 injured — mostly women and children — in a suicide bombing at a park today.
While the Islamic State is top of mind this week after a string of attacks, this attack is being claimed by a Pakistani Taliban faction which said it had targeted Christians celebrating this holy day."
I need to ask... how would you feel if you were with fellow Christians and family, and were attacked by people who hate you and want to kill you?
Would you feel happy? I know, I wouldn't.
Just as most people there in Pakistan, aren't.
Some people seem to think that we are not at war. But, we truly are.
Instead of being countries against countries, it is truly spiritual. At least, partially. Even though death is physically happening.
Muslims are trying to take over the world. And, are killing off Christians, and other infidels (unbelievers of Islam), anywhere/everywhere they can.
Yet, so many people and/or governments don't seem to care. And, won't stand up to help those who are being attacked.
Am I referring to revenge?
After all, God told us, in Romans 12:19, "Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord."
We need to not avenge ourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written... Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
For this, I praise God.
He will repay with His own vengeance, at some point in time. We should not avenge, in any way.
However, protecting ourselves, and protecting others, is not vengeance. It is not a way of giving revenge for what Muslims are doing.
Protecting ourselves and others, is basically what happened when allies worked together against Hitler during WW2. And, God helped us.
If we had not looked to Him, He would not have helped the allies overcome what Hitler and his Nazi's and Muslims were doing... not just to Jews, but also to anyone against them.
Yet, today, I'm being put down, suggesting that we need to stand up. And, do what needs to be done.
For, we are truly at war.
Until next time...
