Today, we'll discuss something here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) that some people enjoy. And, others... do not.
What is it?
April Fool's Day!
In the morning time, some people decide to celebrate April Fool's Day. By lying, creating situations they hope will make other laugh, and/or by doing things that others don't normally think happen.
Like when my children were young, and I made them cheese sandwiches for their school lunches.
Instead of taking the over off the slices of cheese, I buttered the bread, and left the cheese slices covered. This way, when they would go to take a bite, they couldn't bite through it, until the cheese slice covers were removed.
Yes, I know. I probably shouldn't have done that.
However, since at that time in my life, God wasn't first and foremost, always... it made sense to me to do something to tease my children.
Even though God was not yet first and foremost in my life, He was important to me.
I never said there was no God. Nor, did I ever say anything like that to others.
So, I truly wasn't totally foolish,
Even so, there are people that ARE foolish.
They are those, who don't believe God even exists. Sometimes, called by some to be... unbelievers.
Just as we read, in Psalm 14:1, "The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good."
Yes, there are some people who say they believe there is no God. How foolish they, are.
Especially, since they sometimes then do abominable works. And, there is none that doeth good.
Of course, those of us who have gained salvation by believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, understand that God truly loves us... His children.
Do you believe God loves you?
Have you become a child of His?
Hopefully, you have. For, if you have, then some day, I'll see you either here on earth, or in Heaven!
That is... as long as you aren't being foolish... and refusing to trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Until next time...
