Ye Shall...

It's been a while since I shared some special info with you, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).  Today, I'll do it, again.

Even though I receive e-mail from this group on a fairly regular basis, I don't always share it with you.  But, I will, now.

The e-mail was from Jay Sekulow, ACLJ (American Center for Law and Justice) Chief Council.  I copied and pasted it, so you can read it:

Lynn,

The evil gets more unspeakable each day.

The latest reports reveal ISIS (the Islamic State) is using exploding necklaces to barbarically blow up alleged spies.

They've been committing these atrocities against Christians for years. Enough is enough.

Somewhere between 1 and 2 million Christians have been slaughtered or displaced in the cradle of Christianity - abducted, raped, beheaded, crucified, and worse.

We successfully pressured the Obama Administration to recognize this "genocide against Christians."

Now we have an obligation to act under the Genocide Convention.

We've launched a multi-pronged legal advocacy campaign. We're mobilizing our global offices in the most expansive campaign for the persecuted Church we've ever undertaken, preparing numerous legal memoranda, advocacy letters, and policy proposals to Congress, President Obama, the U.N., and genocide agencies.

Be heard for your persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ today.

Sign Our New Petition: Stop the Genocide. Protect Christians.

Jay Sekulow
ACLJ Chief Counsel

Reading this, and thinking about it, makes me pray.

Every day, I pray for those who are being persecuted for their faith.

After all, God has revealed the truth about what is happening throughout the world.  About how Christians are being persecuted.  Just as you read in today's letter from ACLJ.

Whenever I think of the persecution brothers and sisters in the Lord are experiencing, makes me think of many Bible verses, including Matthew 10:22, "And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved."

My friend, if you truly stand up for Christ, you shall be hated of all men for His name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

The end?

The end, is usually... death.

Life isn't easy.  But, God is good.

He helps everyone through the troubles they experience in life.  As long as they belong to Him.

Do you?

Are you trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ?

If not, then you may not suffer through this life, here on earth, as much as those who have gained salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.  But, when your life here on earth ends, you will suffer for eternity... in Hell... separated from God, with no chance of escape.

If you have truly gained salvation, then you belong to Him.  You may suffer here on earth.  But, once your life here on earth ends, you'll spend eternity with God... in Heaven.  Yes, forever.

My friend, if you haven't yet gained salvation, please come to Christ, today.  Tomorrow, may be too late.

Until next time...

Strength...

If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) recently, you'll know that I attended a funeral/memorial service for my friend, P's son, M.

P's husband was not well enough to attend his son's funeral/memorial service.  And, he died three (3) days, later.

This past Tuesday, April 26, 2016, I attended my friend P's husband K's funeral/memorial service.

There was a huge number of people who attended P's son M's funeral/memorial service, as I mentioned when I discussed it, here on LwL.  But, it wasn't the same for P's husband, K's funeral/memorial service.

In fact, I was the only friend who was allowed to attend K's funeral/memorial service, other than family members.

To me, it was very supportive that all the family members attended the service.

Even so, I felt truly sad for my friend, P.  After all, it's not easy having your son die.  But, to have your husband die within a few days afterwards, is difficult.  So very difficult that I am surprised P could deal with it.

Before the service, P and I spoke by phone several times, and I visited with her.  I found myself crying for her, for I felt broken-hearted... for her. :'(

During the service, I was asked if I wanted to speak and say anything.  I did a few words, in support of K and P.

Then, I sang.

Afterwards, I gave a few more words, mentioning our Lord.

I praise God for helping me to be supportive during the service that was small in size, and in time.  I praised Him for providing time for me to sing.  I must admit, I truly had hoped to do that.

I also praised Him for helping my friend, P... and her family members.

There seemed to be only a few tears.  I believe this was mainly due to the shock my friend P and her family, were experiencing.

Thinking about the severity of the grief they were experiencing, along with the shock, made me feel a lot of sadness, for everyone.

However, I was grateful that God gave my friend, P... her family... and me, the strength to deal with what was necessary to happen, at the funeral/memorial service.  Thank You, Lord...

Thinking of this, made me think of Psalm 73:26, "My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever."

As human beings, our flesh and hearts faileth during some of the difficult things that happen in our lives.

But, God... is the strength of our hearts... and our portion... forever.

I believe He gave everyone there strength to deal with the loss of both loved ones, not just me.  And, for this, I am truly thankful.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

All These Things!

Oops... there's something I haven't mentioned on Life with Lynnie (LwL), regarding last weekend.  I'll tell you, now!

On Saturday, April 23rd I drove to attend a seminar where I worship with my church family.

The seminar was to begin at 10:00 a.m.  I got there early, and found my friends, C and S had gotten there early, also!  :)

My elder, brother W presented the seminar.  It was truly enjoyable!

Lots of church family members were with us.  As well as our pastor, of course.  :)

After the seminar finished, we all spent time together talking and enjoying lunch, together.  To me, it was so very nice.

Once I was on my way home, I stopped at a new marketplace building.  Groups of people were selling items and tickets, doing fundraising.

I should let you know that I had stopped there, because a FB friend, who I know here in Windsor, had invited me.

At first, I couldn't find her.  Yes, I thought I had seen a table that may have been hers, but she wasn't located at it.

Then, I saw her rolling along in her wheelchair.  Sure enough, that table I thought might be hers, was.

We talked.  To support her, I purchased some items from her.

Then, I decided to go get some shopping done.  After all, I wasn't going to have to stop at a grocery store, since there were fruit, veggies, baked goods, gifts and more being sold there!

Thinking of this, made me think about how happy He makes me.  And, about how God provides.

He does everything for us.

Much like we read, in Isaiah 45:7, "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things."

He made last Saturday a true blessing to me.  He provided for my needs.

Yes, He does everything for us.  That is, if we belong to Him.

Do you?

Have you gained salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ (Acts 16:31)?

If not, you do not belong to Him.  And, once your life here on earth ends, you will spend eternity in Hell, separated from God, with no chance of escape.

However, if you have gained salvation, you'll spend eternity with Him, in Heaven.

If this is true for you, I praise God!  And, will look forward to seeing you, in Heaven.

Hallelujah!

There's something I didn't tell you about on Life with Lynnie (LwL), yesterday.  But, I'll tell you, today!  :)

After finding out that my daughter, B and my granddaughter, A were going to worship at Walkerville Evangelical Baptist Church (WEBC), with my church family, I let you know I was going to meet them, there.  And, I did... just as you know, if you read yesterday's LwL entry.

However, there was something else that was going to happen on SONday, that I feel I need to mention.  We had a pot-luck luncheon!

Prior to worshipping with both church groups, I had prepared two (2) types of dessert items and brought them with me.  This was to participate in the pot-luck luncheon.

My granddaughter, A absolutely adores eating at those luncheons!

I'm sure there are other reasons, but she definitely likes eating the type of rice that is made every time.  It's a type of rice that she doesn't get served at home, so she is so happy when she can enjoy lunch, with my church family, who are mostly Pilipino, Indonesian, or Chinese... and of course, Canadian!

A absolutely adores the children she participates with, in Sunday school, also.

However, this past Sunday, when my daughter, B spoke with a friend of hers who doesn't live too far from WEBC, apparently her friend's son, D wanted to come with my granddaughter, A... to Sunday school.  To me, this was shocking, but it made me very happy, also!

Both A and D enjoyed Sunday school.  And, also... their lunch!  Of course, so did B, and I, also.  :)

To me, this was so wonderful.  I felt like my heart would burst from feeling so blessed and loved by our Lord!

Something happened that didn't just make me happy, but also made an elder of my church family, happy.

D... told us that he wants to come again, for Sunday school!  He was so happy!  :)

Knowing that this was what we had called Mission Sunday, with our church family, when my elder, W heard that, it made him happy, too.  Then, he turned to me, and said... that I was a great missionary, even though I am at home here, in Canada.

Why did he say this?  I believe it was because as Christians who are evangelical, we plant seeds for Christ, in all ways we can.

Thinking of this, brought to mind, Psalms 96:3, "Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people."

Yes, we as Christians are supposed to declare His glory among unbelievers, and His wonders among all people.  Even children, like D... who have not yet come to know about Jesus.

This made me happy.

To be honest, I laughed.  And, thanked that elder.

Why?

Well, when my deceased husband, Gordon was alive, we had both gotten certificates to teach English as a Second Language (ESL).  We had hoped to go somewhere in the world, and do work as missionaries, while teaching ESL.

After thanking him, and thinking about what I just told you, I almost wanted to cry.  But then, God placed something on my mind.

It wasn't me, who invited, D to join us in worshipping.  It was my granddaughter, A... and her mom, B.

Now, I must say that I pray God will bless my daughter, B... along with my granddaughter, A... her friend, D... and all who have the door opened to come to know, love, and grow in faith, with our Lord.

Hallelujah!  Thank You, Lord!

Fulfilled...

If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday, you'll know that I wasn't able to go have coffee with my friend, C... and other friends.

Why couldn't I do that?

Well, something happened that truly shocked me.

You see, last week my daughter, B told me that even though I liked taking my granddaughter, A to Sunday school, she was going to do it, herself.  And, she did!

B took A to a church near where they live.  It was a church I let her know about.

However, on this past Saturday, my daughter B texted me, and let me know that my granddaughter, A wanted to go to Sunday school, where I worship!

This made me feel really good, I must say.  However, because I had planned to worship at my friend, C's church family, I felt I couldn't change what I was doing.

C's church group meets at an earlier time, than my church family does, where I normally worship.  So, I had told my daughter, B that I would go to meet them at Walkerville Evangelical Baptist Church (WEBC), where I am a member... after I finished worshipping with my friend, C!

By doing this, I arrived in time to be able to attend part of the worship service, at WEBC, where I normally worship.  Yes, I sat with my daughter, B!  :)

This made me truly happy, I must admit!  :)

You see, in the past, B didn't really worship all the time.  Rarely, with me.

Even so, I had prayed and asked God to open the door, so that my granddaughter, A would have her mom to take her to worship.  And, God did this!

He didn't just answer my prayer in that way, even though I wanted this to happen.

He also provided me with joy... of having my granddaughter wanting to attend Sunday school at WEBC, where I worship!  Even though I never prayed for that to happen!

Thinking of this, brought to mind Philippians 2:1-2, "If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,
Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind."

I praise God for providing for all my needs.  And, for my family's needs.  Always.

I praise God for answering my prayer requests... in ways that are so loving.

I praise God for giving me joy.  And, for being likeminded, having the same love, and being of one accord, of one mind.

Thank You, dear God!

Tempted!

As I said on yesterday's entry of Life with Lynnie (LwL), it was a day of worship, being... SONday!

Normally, I worship with my own church family.  However, I had promised my friend C, that I would go worship with her at her church... since she had actually come and worshipped at mine, a few times!

This was something I had never done, before.  Although, I had attended evening events, in the past.

When I arrived where my friend C worships, she wasn't there, yet.

As I walked into the sanctuary, I was seen by a couple I hadn't seen in a long time.  We used to worship together at another part of our city.

It was so nice to see them, and talk with them!  :)

As I was seated waiting for the service to begin, someone arrived that I had gotten to know over the past three and a half (3 1/2) years.  This was a lady who became a friend of mine, and who made sure the church's prayer team would pray for me, because I truly needed healing.  We had actually met when I attended a friendship group meeting there, and she had added me to their prayer list.

Yes, I'm sure you can tell that we were happy to see each other!  :)

When the worship service began, I noticed someone sitting up close to where the pastor was located.  I realized she was also someone I used to worship with, at the same church as the other couple I ran into when I first entered!  When she arose and walked near where I was seated, she came over and we spoke for a minute.  :)

As we were singing, C's and my friend, S came walking by where I was standing.  She let me know that C was actually around the corner, from where I was located.  We hadn't seen each other!  :( :)

Knowing that I knew others worshipping, it seemed to me that they might think I would be joining them to worship, on a regular basis.  And, I must admit, I actually felt temped.

The temptation seemed to affect me for a few minutes.  But, after praying about it, I realized it was not something I could do.  After all, I love my normal church family!

Thinking of this brought to mind, 1 Corinthians 10:13, "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."

Just as we read in today's Bible verse, there is no temptation given to us, other than such as is common to man; but, God is faithful, and will not let us be tempted above that we are able, but will make a way of escape, that we may be able to bear it.

This helped me to remember that even though I truly enjoyed being with so many people I knew and/or had worshipped with in the past, I could not worship with them on a regular basis, for I adore my church family, where I normally worship.

After the service ended, we got together.  C hoped I would go for coffee with her.  Unfortunately, I had to refuse.

Why?

Well, it was because something happened that I hadn't expected.  It's something I will tell you about another time.

It meant that I had to leave right away.

So, off I went... after saying 'hi' to several other friends who had been sitting with my friend, C!

I must admit, worshipping there, was truly a blessing to me.  Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

Great!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I am again letting you know today is... SONday!  :)

It's our Lord's Day!  The day, when I worship!

Yes, I'll worship in spirit and in truth.  But, as you're probably aware, I also am very happy to worship through music!

To be honest, I was surprised I had not yet shared with you a hymn I, and most people adore.  It's been around for quite a while, but I am sharing what was recorded by Chris Rice entitled, Great Is Thy Faithfulness.  Here is a link for you to listen and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0k1WhFtVp0o.  The lyrics are below.

Great Is Thy Faithfulness

Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father;
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not;
As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be.

Great is Thy faithfulness!
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see.
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided;
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

Summer and winter and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.

Great is Thy faithfulness!
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see.
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided;
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!

Great is Thy faithfulness!
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see.
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided;
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

Yes, God's faithfulness to us is so... great!

Just as we read, in 1 Corinthians 1:9, "God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord."

God is faithful to us, whom He called unto the fellowship of His Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ!

He gives us mercy... every day, just as we read in today's hymn lyrics.

And, He provides for all our needs.

For this, I know I'll always be thankful!

Thank You, dear God!

Until next time...

My Heart...

Much like other times, I will be discussing movies, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).  However, some people may realize it is for a different reason, once they've read today's entry.

Why?

These films have truly struck my heart.

Here's some of those heart-felt movies I've watched:

Saving Private Ryan, starring Tom Hanks, Edward Burns, Matt Damon and Tom Sizemore.  If you'd like to check out this epic war drama film, click here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saving_Private_Ryan.  I've seen this film more than once, and will watch it again.  Why?  Well, even though my dad wasn't American, and even though this is an American film, it shows what it was like to participate in WW2, during the Normandy Invasion.

My Canadian dad participated in it.  I've been to Courseulles sur Mer, in Normandy, France, and have been on Juno Beach several times.  Seeing what happened in this movie on the beach, reminded me of what I saw on Juno Beach, because it was only a short distance away from where the American's landed at Omaha Beach.

The Diary of Anne Frank, starring Millie Perkins, Joseph Schildkraut, Shelley Winters, and more actors.  If you'd like to check out this film about a true story, please click here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Diary_of_Anne_Frank_(1959_film).  Much like some other films, I've seen this several times.  And, will watch it again.  After all, I have been to the museum in Amsterdam, where Anne Frank, her family and fellow Jews were hidden, until they were found.

The Hiding Place, starring Julie Harris, Jeannette Clift, Arthur O'Connell and Robert Rieti.  If you'd like to check out this autobiographical movie, click here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hiding_Place_(film).  You're probably aware I've watched this film before.  And, will again many times.  Especially, since I've been to the museum in Haarlem, Netherlands, where the beginning of this movie's story took place.

Titanic, starring Clifton Webb, Barbara Stanwyck, Robert Wagner, Audrey Dalton, and many other actors.  To check out this American drama film, please click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Titanic_(1953_film).  I'll be discussing this, in more detail than I do other movies.

This film truly touches my heart.  After all, just as I mentioned before, my granny was supposed to have travelled overseas on the RMS Titanic, but had arrived too late to board the ship.

While I've watched the newer version and enjoyed it, the older version truly affects me.

Why?

The ending of this older version of the movie Titanic, includes musicians playing and people still aboard the sinking ship, singing a hymn that actually brought tears to my eyes.

The hymn was a Christian hymn by Sarah Flower Adams and is entitled, Nearer, My God, to Thee

Movies can truly touch our hearts.  For they can bring into our hearts and minds, truth about circumstances in life.

But, when we can relate to films due to them being information about the truth in life, they seem even more important.

After all, people can relate to the truth about God.  And, how He choses His children, and provides for them in so many ways.

Just as we read, in Isaiah 41:9-10, "Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.
10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."

Just as we read in today's Bible verses, God let us know that He calls us, and lets us know He has chosen us.

He also tells us to fear not, for He is with us.  He strengthens us, helps us, and upholds us with the right hand of His righteousness.

At least, when we belong to Him.

Just as we saw in those films.  And, just as He did to many, who faced the possibility of death, during stressful times in their lives.

All His children whose lives ended, are spending eternity with God, in Heaven.

I will.

Will you?

My friend, please understand, that if you haven't yet gained salvation, you need to do so, today.  Do so, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved (Acts 16:31).

Please... do so, today.  Tomorrow, may be too late.

Until next time...

Do You?

I'm going to discuss something, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) that I did, last Saturday.

On Saturday, April 16th, my church family offered anyone/everyone a FREE movie night!  Yes, FREE!

Some churches either charge if/when they show a movie.  Or, some ask for a donation of a pre-planned amount.

But, my church family offered the movie being shown that night... FREE!  (We also received snack items and bottles of water... FREE!)

If you are a Facebook (FB) friend, you may be aware of that event.  After all, I created a FB event, that I shared several times... and invited people.

Of course, if you don't live anywhere near where I live, there was no way you could have joined us in watching the movie.  However, if you lived anywhere near where the movie was taking place, you could have joined our group, and enjoyed the film.

Even so, not many people showed up.

I didn't count the number of those who came to enjoy the film.  But, in my mind, I guessed there was about 35 people, or maybe a few more.

On my way to the FREE movie night event, I picked up a friend who doesn't drive.  We arrived, and found that my friend C, who doesn't worship with my church family, was there.  She brought four (4) people with her.

So, between me and my friends, we were seven (7) people.  Meaning about 20% of those in attendance!

Wow!  I was amazed!

How come?

I thought there would be many more people there, to see the movie.

All I can say, is that anyone who didn't join us, missed out on seeing one of the best films I believe I have ever seen!  :( :)

What was the movie's title?  Do You Believe?

Have you seen... Do You Believe?

During some discussions, I realized that some of my church family were like me.  They had also seen the movie, before they joined in that evening.

Yes, I have a copy of it, at home!

In my mind, it is one of the best movies I have ever seen.

Of course, because the Lord is discussed!  But, also due to the way they not just wrote the movie, but how it was actually filmed.

Do You Believe? truly touches my heart.  Especially, since some people gained salvation, in the film!

Why?  Because, gaining salvation is very important... to... everyone!

Just like God's Word, the Bible, tells us in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Yes, all anyone has to do to gain salvation, is to trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ (Acts 3:16).

Have you gained salvation?

If not, and if your life ends here on earth, you'll spend eternity in Hell, separated from God, with no chance of escape.

If you have gained salvation, you'll spend eternity in Heaven, with God!  And, with me...

Hopefully, I'll see you there, some day.

Until next time...

As Long As I Have You...

Hopefully, you read the posting I made here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), on Saturday, April 16th.  If not, you may want to click here, and check it out:  http://www.lifewithlynnie.com/2016/04/as-long.html.

If you did, you'll know that there was a song on the Elvis Presley movie, King Creole entitled, As Long As I Have You.  Here is a link for you to listen to and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPsEQnRziPk.  The lyrics are below.

As Long As I Have You

Let the stars fade and fall
And I won't care at all
As long as I have you

Every kiss brings a thrill
And I know that it will
As long as I have you

Let's think of the future
Forget the past
You're not my first love
But you're my last
Take the love that I bring
Then I'll have everything
As long as I have you

Let's think of the future
Forget the past
You're not my first love
But you're my last
Take the love that I bring
Then I'll have everything
As long as I have you

As long, as long as I have you

When I heard this song in the movie, my heart was truly touched.

No.  Not because I have someone to love, who loves me.  I am a widow.  I don't have anyone in my life.

However, the lyrics made me think of Jesus.

He wasn't my first love, even though I began loving him when I was about four and a half (4 1/2) years old.  But, He's my last love.

Love that will always be with me.

You see, I will always love Him.  And, I know He will always love me.

Thinking of this brought to mind, Psalm 18:1, "I will love thee, O Lord, my strength."

Yes, I love Him.  He is my strength.

He helps me every day of my life.  And, through every trial in my life.

Hopefully, He is this to you, also.

If so, when you love Him, He'll be your strength.

Until next time...

Wondering? Please, Pray...

If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday, you'll know that I shared with you the song by Kansas entitled, Dust In The Wind.  If you didn't see that entry you may want to do so.

You may be wondering why that song has been on my mind.

Yes, it is secular.  However, it's been resonating within me for several days, now.

Ever since I attended the memorial service for my friend P's son, M.

I believe God kept it on my heart and mind, within me... because, he wanted me to share it with you.  And, discuss it, along with M's funeral/memorial service.

M was a very good man, in many ways.  He worked for one of Canada's car companies, here in Windsor, Ontario; he was an electrician.  Plus, until he got sick, he also had a solar business.

I knew that M loved to ride a motorcycle.  However, until he died, I never knew he was a member of a motorcycle group.

The leader of the motorcycle group, and his wife led the group to the cemetery... by driving on M's motorcycle.  I never counted the number of motorcycles and/or people, but it seemed like about 100.

M had been cremated.  The urn and a picture of him, were on a table in front of where a man was going to speak.

My friend, P and her family members sat across from me, in the hall of the building where M's urn and picture was located during the service.

The man who spoke, someone had called a 'minister'.  He claimed to have met M, while he was alive.  And, apparently knew some of the bikers.

He was the person who played that song I shared, yesterday:  Dust In The Wind.  He spoke nicely about M... and his family.  But, he also told everyone that we were all... dust in the wind.

I kept praying and hoping that he would actually give a gospel message.  But, he didn't.

The only time he mentioned Jesus, was when he asked everyone to join together in quoting The Lord's Prayer.

Other than that, Jesus was never mentioned.

This broke my heart.  I was sad.

Why?

Certainly not because we won't become dust, after we die.  Because, our body will become dust.

But, he never gave a gospel message.

To me, this meant that this 'minister' knew that the majority of people in attendance were not saved people.  But, didn't they need to hear about how they could gain salvation?

Meaning, that some would become only dust and suffer.  While some might be saved, and spend eternity in Heaven, with God... even if their bodies became dust.

Thinking of this, brought to mind, Daniel 12:2, "And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt."

Yes, many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Shame and everlasting contempt?  If they are not to experience everlasting life, they will suffer for their shame and everlasting contempt... and suffer in Hell for it, with no chance of escape.

Afterwards, I asked the 'minister' if he was a pastor.  He said he was.  And, let me know he was from another city, that I won't mention, being about a dozen hour drive, where his church group was located.

This truly broke my heart, even more.

After all, everyone needs to come to realize they need a Saviour.  Our Lord, Jesus Christ.  And, now to gain salvation, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

But, none of those people heard that.

Please, pray for not just my friend P and her family.  And, not just for those who attended the memorial service and dinner afterwards.

Pray, for that Pastor, who hurt those people by not preaching a gospel message.  Does He ever?  Anywhere?

Only God knows.

Thank you for praying.

By the way, my friend P told me that her son, M... loved Jesus.

For this, I am thankful!  Praise God!  Thank You, Jesus.

Dust...

From time to time, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) I share with you music and lyrics.  Just as I will do, today.

The song that has been resonating within me lately, is by Kansas and is entitled, Dust In The Wind.  Here is a link for you to listen to it, and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12DeNdF0KPA .  The lyrics are below.

Dust In The Wind

I close my eyes only for a moment, and the moment's gone
All my dreams pass before my eyes, a curiosity

Dust in the wind, all they are is dust in the wind

Same old song, just a drop of water in an endless sea
All we do crumbles to the ground, though we refuse to see

Dust in the wind, all we are is dust in the wind

Now, don't hang on, nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky
It slips away, and all your money won't another minute buy

Dust in the wind, all we are is dust in the wind (all we are is dust in the wind)
Dust in the wind (everything is dust in the wind), everything is dust in the wind (the wind)

This song sometimes makes people think that we are all dust.  Dust that will live, until we return to dust... when our life ends.

Just as we read, in Genesis 3:19, "In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return."  And, in some other Bible verses.

Being in the Old Testament, Jesus had not yet come to earth.

So, many people who were not considered God's children at that time, were considered to be just as it says.  Dust.

I praise God that our Lord, Jesus Christ came to earth, to die for the sin of the world, of all who would believe upon Him.

Hallelujah!

He did this, and anyone who trusts in/believes upon Jesus, gains salvation.  And, will spend eternity with Him, in Heaven!

Thank You, Lord!

Have you gained salvation?  I hope so.

For, if you have not gained salvation, you will spend eternity in Hell, separated from God, with no chance of escape.

However, if you've gained salvation, I'll be happy to see you, in Heaven!

Until next time...

A Need...

You're probably aware, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), that I went to worship yesterday, with my church family.

Although I wasn't bringing my granddaughter, A with me, I was happy that her mom, my daughter, B was taking A to church.  Not where I worship, but to another church group.  :) :(

After our worship service was over, I called a friend of mine, P.  I couldn't reach her.

Even so, I went to the retirement home where she's been staying.  You see, sometimes her phone isn't ringing, so she isn't aware people are calling.

P was there!

We spent some time talking about how upset she is over her husband being so sick.  He's staying in a nursing home.  And, may not live long.

We also talked about how awful it is that her son died.  And, how touching his funeral was.  Yes, I'll discuss it, another day.

Grief isn't easy.

And, love never seems to die.  But, pain lives on.

Even so, God is there for her.  And, will bless her.

For this, I am truly happy.  Even though I also feel sad.

After all, Jesus told us in Matthew 5:4, " Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted."

I truly praise Him for this.

For all who mourn, truly need to be comforted.  Just as He told us we would be.

My friend, please pray for, P.  She truly needs to be encouraged, healed, and comforted.

It isn't easy losing a child.  Especially, when your spouse is on the verge of dying, as well.

Thank you.

May God bless you.

Nearer...

Today, is a day of worship.  Just like I mention every SONday, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

Even though I go to worship in spirit and in truth.  I usually let you know I worship through music, as well.

As I mentioned in yesterday's LwL entry, a hymn truly touched my heart.  And, brought tears to my eyes.

Why?

Because it was the last piece of music played by musicians and sung by people aboard the RMS Titanic, that sunk on April 15, 1912.

Titanic was a ship that my Irish granny was supposed to come overseas on, from Ireland.  But, she missed the Titanic and had to come later, on a different ship.

The hymn was a Christian hymn by Sarah Flower Adams and is entitled, Nearer, My God, to Thee.  Here is a link for you to listen to and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJd4923hUB0.  The lyrics are below.

Nearer, My God, to Thee

Nearer, My God to Thee,
Nearer to Thee,
Even though it be a cross,
That raiseth me...

Still, all my song shall be,
Nearer, My God to Thee,
Nearer, My God to Thee,
Nearer to Thee...

Though like the wanderer,
The sun gone down,
Darkness be over me,
My rest a stone...

Yet in my dreams I'll be,
Nearer, My God to Thee,
Nearer, My God to Thee,
Nearer to Thee...

There let the way appear,
Steps unto Heaven,
All that thou sendest me,
In mercy given!

Angels to beckon me,
Nearer, My God to Thee,
Nearer, My God to Thee,
Nearer to Thee...

Or, if on joyful wing,
Cleaving the sky,
Sun, moon and stars forgot,
Upwards I fly.

Still all my song shall be,
Nearer, My God to Thee,
Nearer, My God to Thee,
Nearer God to Thee...

Not only did this touch my heart for the reason I just told you about.  But, there's also another reason.

You see, I feel that had my Irish granny died, I would not be alive.  I believe this is why God allowed my granny to miss the ship and not sink with it.

He has His plans.  He knows who He wants to live.  And, I believe He wanted me to live.

Why?

Mainly due to the work I do for Him.  Always.

After all, He wants us to do what He has commanded us to do.

Just as we read, in Mark 16:15, "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."

Yes, we are to preach the gospel to all the creatures of the world.

Just as I try to do, through my blog entries, here on Life with Lynnie.  Plus, what I do on Facebook (FB).  And, what I do whenever the door opens for me to speak with people.

My friend, if you belong to Him, please do as He commands you to do.  You'll be blessed.

Until next time...

As Long...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), every once in a while I share with you movies I've watched.  Today is a day like that!

As I said before, during the month of March 2016, they showed many, many movies that Elvis Presley, was in!  Of course, some of his movies were also on other stations.

Today, I'll be listing several of them, for you.  It's actually the last list of Elvis' movies I watched.

Jailhouse Rock, starring Elvis Presley, Judy Tyler, and Micky Shaughnessy.  Want to check out this musical drama film?  Click here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jailhouse_Rock_(film).  While it is upsetting to see that a murder had taken place and Elvis paid the price, I enjoyed the movie.

Wild in the Country, starring Elvis Presley, Hope Lange and more actors.  To check out this American drama film, please click here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wild_in_the_Country.  In some ways, this was a heart-breaking movie, since Elvis was a truly troubled young man.  But, I enjoyed the film.

Girls! Girls! Girls!, starring Elvis Presley, Stella Stevens, and Laurel Goodwin.  If you'd like to check out this musical comedy film, please click here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Girls!_Girls!_Girls!  Although I don't always adore musical comedy films, I enjoyed this one.

Spinout, starring Elvis Presley, and Shelley Fabares.  To check out this musical comedy film, click here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spinout.  Even though I'm not crazy about movies with car racing, I enjoyed this film.

King Creole, starring Elvis Presley, Carolyn Jones and Walter Matthau.  Click here, to check out this American musical drama film:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_Creole.  This movie had a song in it, that I absolutely adored, called... As Long As I Have You (I'll address this, another day.)

As you've probably realized from in the past, I adore music.

Elvis' music in these films were lovely.  But, the music I adore the most, is music that is sung unto the Lord.

Just as we read, in Psalm 95:1, "O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation."

Yes, let us sing unto the Lord!  Let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

Is Jesus Christ, the rock of your salvation?

He is, for me.

How come?  I trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

By doing this, I gained salvation.

Have you?

Hopefully, you have.

If not yet, please do so today.  Tomorrow may be too late.

Until next time...

Titanic... 1912

As I mentioned yesterday, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I shared with you information on something that I normally would have shared, today.

While today is the anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombing, it is also the anniversary of something else.  Something that has affected my life.

It's the anniversary of when the RMS Titanic sunk.

To read about the Titanic ship, please click on this Wikipedia link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RMS_Titanic

If you read about it on this link, you'll know that the RMS Titanic hit the iceberg at 11:40 p.m. on April 14th, 1912... and sunk at about 2:20 a.m. on April 15th, 1912.

Why was this important to me?

My Irish granny was only 18 years old.  And, she was coming to North America... alone.

Apparently, she arrived at the port too late.

She wasn't able to board the Titanic.  I was told she sat on her storage chest/trunk... and cried, being extremely sad as she watched the ship sail away.

Later, she came to Canada.

While it was upsetting for her to have missed being able to cross the ocean on the Titanic, I'm sure that later, she was happy she had missed the ship.

For sure, I am.

After all, not everyone survived the sinking of the Titanic.  If my granny had been aboard, she probably would have died when it sunk.

If so, my dad would not have later been born, here in Canada.  Nor, would I.  Or, my children, and other family members.

Thinking of this, amazes me.  It totally confirms that God is truthful in His Word... the Bible.

Like we read, in Ecclesiastes 3:1-2, "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;"

Just as we read in today's verses, to everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the Heaven.  A time to be born and a time to die...

Not everyone who was on the Titanic, survived.  Many people, died.

It breaks my heart that so many died.  However, it was God's timing for their lives to end.

It struck my heart watching the end of that movie.

Why?

The musicians played that Christian hymn, Nearer, My God, to Thee...  And, many of those still aboard the Titanic sang the hymn.

Those who knew the hymn were obviously those who worshipped our God, and trusted in our Lord, Jesus Christ.  The Holy Spirit, provided for them, giving them strength to face their death.

In other words, many of those people had gained salvation, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Have you?

If not, and your life here on earth ends, then you will spend eternity in Hell, separated from God.  With NO chance of escape.

Hopefully, you have gained salvation.  If so, I'll be happy to some day, be with you in Heaven.

Until next time...

Remembrance... of Marathon Bombing & More...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I will be writing about the Boston Marathon bombing that took place a April 15th, 2013 even though today is April 14th.  Tomorrow, you'll understand why.

If you'd like to read about it, please click on this posting by en.wikipedia.org regarding the Boston Marathon bombinghttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boston_Marathon_bombing.

By now, I believe most people have watched videos of the bombing, but in case you have not yet seen what happened, here is a Youtube link:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=046MuD1pYJg&feature=player_embedded

One reason I decided to delay writing about the bombing at first, was because I wondered if it was terrorist activity.  However, it turned out that it was done by Muslims, as a terrorist activity.  I'm sure you read about or heard about that on news broadcasts.

It didn't take long before I read Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah celebrate Boston terror attackhttp://www.israelnewsagency.com/bostonmarathonterrorattackpalestiniansdancingcandygazaobamahamasislamicjihadhezbollahiran48041513.html

If you would like to read the full article, just click on the link above.  I must say that after reading the first few lines:

By Israel News Agency Staff
Jerusalem, Israel --- April 15, 2013 … Shortly after terror bombs exploded and murdered over 12 people at the Boston Marathon, members of Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Hezbollah were reported to be dancing in the streets of Gaza, handing out candies to passerbys.
A number of Palestinians had danced in the street in celebration of the 9/11 attacks in 2001 on the World Trade Center and Washington resulting in the deaths of thousands of Americans.
The head of an Islamic terror organization in Jordan - the Muslim Salafi group says he’s “happy to see the horror in America” after the bombing attacks in Boston.

I realized that Islamic people, were celebrating the bombing issue that happened in Boston, MA, USA.

The fact is, we need to be praying for all unbelievers.  Especially, those who want to rid the world of Christians and other groups, like Muslim believers in Islam do.

Some Muslims have actually come to Christ, and gained salvation.  For this, I praise God!

This next article is one that I am happy about.  It's from Charisma News and is entitled, Muslim Woman Receives Jesus Revelation Through Visionhttp://www.charismanews.com/world/40892-muslim-woman-receives-jesus-revelation-through-vision.

Why am I happy some Muslims have come to Christ?

It's not just because they will no longer attack Christians, Jews and other infidels (non-believer of Islam).  It's mainly due to the fact that I pray that all who are non-Christian, will gain salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Thinking of this, brought to mind Acts 16:31, "And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house."

Yes, those who believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, shall be saved.

However, this does not mean that those who believe Jesus existed, become saved.  Even Muslims believe He existed.  And, He's written in their holy books, like the Qur'an (Koran).

Believing upon Him, also means that you need to trust in Him.  And, that you need to be committed to Him.

My friend, I pray you have committed yourself to Jesus Christ.  For if you have, I'll be glad to see you in Heaven, some day!

Response to E-mail Re: Islam Pt. 3... of 3.

Today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be addressing another part of the e-mail I received, recently.

This will address the issue of Islam trying to take over the world.  Almost like Hitler tried to do, during WW2, as I discussed here on LwL, yesterday.

Here is a YouTube video entitled, Muslims will take over the Worldhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVVY-3K5u88&nohtml5=False

Hopefully, you watched that video, that asks us Christians at the end of it, to "Never give up Never surrender Supporting the counter jihad Do your part, spread the word!"

If you watched that video, you'll know that it was published on YouTube on Sept. 21, 2014.  Not recently.  Yet, you'll have seen Muslims in various countries talking about taking over those countries, and some speaking about Islam taking over the world.

You'll also know, it is not ISIS info being shared.  It's simply... Islamic teachings, being discussed... by many types of Muslims, including Imams.

Imams are Muslim leaders who teach at mosques what the Qur'an tells Muslims they are to do.

When my now deceased husband was alive, we were in Europe for a while.  In London, England we went to visit Churchill War Rooms.  Outside that entrance, is an open road area.  That was where we saw an Islamic Imam and Muslims yelling about how they hated Britain, and how Islam was going to take over the world.

When was this?  Hmmm... if I recall correctly, it was about 2007.

It upsets me to hear from people that they think that ISIS is not what general Muslims are.  But, it is true.

How do I know this?

Anyone who has read LwL for quite a while, will know that I took courses in UNDERSTANDING ISLAM.

Who taught it?

A Christian who was my pastor at the time, taught us.  He had not only studied Islam, but he had also confirmed information that he and others heard and found out from Muslims who converted to Christianity, plus by information given to him by Imams from Mosques, in our area.

Yes!  Surprised?  Some Imams had lunch with my pastor, or met for coffee, etc. and confirmed the information to him.

Not all Muslims participate with what their god wants them to do.  But then, not all Christians are truly dedicated to our God, either.

As I just mentioned, we have some Christians here in my area, who were born and raised Muslim.  A man who lives in the city where I live, has been interviewed and the interviews were posted on YouTube.  Plus, he told us about how he was raised as a child, to hate infidels (non-believers of Islam), and how as a young teenager, he even killed people, because that is what they were taught they needed to do.

Where I worship now, there is a couple who were Muslim, and who became Christians many years ago.  I praise God for this!

Does this mean that everyone in Canada knows the truth about Islam?

Absolutely, not.

But, everyone needs to come to know the truth about Islam.

How?  Become educated.  Just as I have done.

Here's some things I have learned; things that every non-Muslim needs to learn:

*  The Quran's Verses of Violencehttp://www.thereligionofpeace.com/pages/quran/violence.aspx.

Taqiyya:  Meaning... lying.  Muslims are taught that they should not lie to fellow Muslims.  However, they are taught that they can and should lie to infidels (unbelievers of Islam).

Should we believe anything Muslims say?

I don't believe we should.  Just as I've said in the past.

After all, they feel it is not just okay, but sometimes important to not tell us infidels, truth... of any kind.

Are all Muslims part of ISIS.  No.

Some Muslims are, because they want to fulfill their teachings.  Just as I said, previously.

Some Muslims are not, because they aren't ready to do so.  Or, are what many people might call 'moderate' Muslims.

Even so, our Canadian government has caught Muslims, like in Ontario, when they were going to attack trains.  I'm sure there are other issues.  Some of which we might not even know about.

But, Islam is trying to take over the world, just as I've said in the past.

Here is a link by msn.com entitled, IS 'spreading like a cancer': UN chief:  http://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/world/is-spreading-like-a-cancer-un-chief/ar-BBrwYJN?ocid=spartandhp.

Hopefully, anyone reading this LwL entry, will understand that what is being discussed is truth.  And, is not hateful.

If anyone checks on the internet, they will see links for articles and/or videos showing what Muslims are doing in various places.

In the past, and even now currently, various countries in Africa are being attacked.

Of course, everyone should realize that Europe is now being attacked.

Something that upsets me, is that the refugees being accepted here in Canada, are ONLY Muslims, lately.  Even though fellow Christians are being attacked, raped, kidnapped, murdered and imprisoned, in various places in the Middle East... by Muslims.

It's obvious to me, that our government leader doesn't care.  If he did, I'm sure Justin Trudeau would have accepted Christians, as refugees, since they truly are.

Especially, since some of the Muslims being accepted as refugees, should be at home in their country, fighting to gain back their lives in their countries.  Just as people had to do, in WW1 and WW2, plus in other times, in civil wars in their countries, many decades/centuries ago.

Instead, some of the Muslims being allowed to obtain refugee status here in Canada, are Muslims who may be terrorists... like some in Europe were found to be.  Time will tell.

Doing my work for the Lord, is special to me.  And, I am special to Him.

Just as we read, in John 17:14-17, when Jesus said... " I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth."

Speaking God's truth, is so very important.  Not just His Word, as was just read, here today.

I realize that being Christian, and doing what God would have me do, I am hated by some people.

Why?  Because I am not of the world, just as Jesus wasn't.

Jesus prayed that God would not take we His children, out of the world, but that we would be kept from evil.

After all, we who belong to our Lord, are not of the world.  Just as Jesus wasn't.

Jesus wants us sanctified through God the Father's truth... His Word... the Bible.

As I've said in the past, the only people who will be saved, and spend eternity in Heaven with Him, are His children, who have gained salvation.

This means that Muslims, and other groups of people who either have a religion other than Christianity, or who don't believe in God at all, will suffer... forever.

Those who are non-Christians and unsaved Christians, will spend eternity in Hell, separated from God, with no chance of escape.  Why is this?  Because, many will stand before Christ in the day of Judgement, and He will say... get away from me, I never knew you (Matthew 7:21-23).

Is this what you want for people?

Not, me.

If my heart's desire was to be fulfilled, everyone would become born-again Christians and gain salvation (John 3:3).  And, I'd see everyone then, in Heaven.

My friend, do what God wants us to do.  Be obedient.

Preach the gospel to all the creatures of the earth... to everyone who has not yet gained salvation.  Yes, this includes Muslims, and all unbelievers in our Lord, Jesus Christ.

May God bless you for doing what He would have you do.

And, to the female who e-mailed me, so that I needed to respond... thank you.  Because of what you did, I was able to educate people somewhat.

Please know, I forgive you for your nastiness originally towards me.  I'm praying for you.  Blessings...

Until next time...

Response to E-mail Re: Islam Pt. 2... of 3

If you read yesterday's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, you'll know that I began to address an issue regarding e-mail I received.

Today, I'll be providing information that hopefully will help that female that e-mailed me, understand what I have said.  And, why.

The first part, is regarding how Muslims worked with Nazi's during WW2.

Here's a link by en.wikipedia.org, who posted online information regarding Hitler and Muslims during WW2 entitled, Relations between Nazi Germany and the Arab worldhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Relations_between_Nazi_Germany_and_the_Arab_world

If you read that article, you'll know it said (yup, I copied/pasted):  "Prior to the Second World War, all of North Africa and the Middle-East were under the control of European powers. Despite the Nazi racial theories which denigrated Arabs as members of an "inferior Semitic race"[citation needed], many Germans made exceptions for some Arabs who assisted the Reich in fighting the British for possession of the Middle East. Mufti Haj Amin al-Husseini, for example, "was granted honorary Aryan" status by the Nazis for his close collaboration with Hitler and the Third Reich.[10][11][page needed]
The German government developed a cordial association and cooperated with some Arab nationalist leaders based on their common anti-colonial and anti-Zionist interests. The most notable examples of these common-cause fights were the 1936–1939 Arab revolt in Palestine and other actions led by Grand Mufti Haj Amin al-Husseini, and the Anglo-Iraqi War, when the Golden Square (four generals led by Rashid Ali al-Gaylani) overthrew the pro-British 'Abd al-Ilah regency in Iraq and installed a pro-Axis government.[12][13][14]
In response to the Rashid Ali coup, Hitler issued Führer Directive No. 30 on 23 May 1941 to support their cause. This order began: "The Arab Freedom Movement in the Middle East is our natural ally against England."[14] "

Another article is by billionbibles.org and is entitled, Muslim Brotherhood Hitler (Adolph Hitler & Muslim Brotherhood):  "http://www.billionbibles.org/sharia/hitler-muslim-brotherhood.html.

It's really important to read that article.  It's also important to see that the article has a photo I'm sharing with you:
This pic shows that Muslims wanted their god (not ours) to bless Hitler.

Here's another pic you hopefully saw on that article:
Arabs saluting Hitler, like the Nazi's did.

Here's YouTube videos that everyone needs to watch/listen to:

I must admit, not everyone realizes that Muslims worked along with Hitler, during WW2.  In fact, I didn't know years ago.

However, when my now deceased husband Gordon and I visited Morocco many years ago, we saw Marrakesh, Casablanca and Tangier.

When we were in Tangier, we hired an individual person to show us the city.  We must admit, we did appreciate the person's work.

In fact, this was when we first (1st) heard that Muslims were involved in WW2, with Hitler.

We were shown a building that Hitler built.  It was vacant at the time.  Apparently, Hitler only finished building it, just before the war ended, so he and his Nazi's didn't use it.

Hitler's plan was to use it as a radio station, so that he could have allies or anyone trying to get through the Gibraltar area, would be able to hear the Nazi's and Muslims tell them information.  The reasons we were told, was so that they could get people to commit to working with them, or else they would be attacked.

Hmmm... this was very interesting.

Our tour guide told us more and more.  This opened the door for us to do research on the internet, and found out that Muslims did work with Hitler.  Not just in Morocco, but in various countries, as you just saw links for information.

Just so you know.  I heard that the building we were told that Hitler built and didn't get to use, is now used by a Christian organization, who is able to us it as work for our Lord, through radio.  For this, I praise God!

After all, God did not send Jesus into the world to condemn it.

Just as we read, in John 3:17, "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."

God sent Jesus, so that the world, through Him... might be saved.

As I said previously, we are to preach the gospel to all the creatures of the earth.  And, we are to speak truth.

Of course, not all Christians do this.

Muslims, don't do what we Christians who love and want to be obedient to our God, do.

They all don't do what their god would have them do, either.

As I said previously, Muslims are to convert the world, peaceably if possible, and if not... they should cut off our heads.

Some Muslims are doing exactly what their god (not our God) would have them do.  Unfortunately, some people are not aware that those who are doing what their god would have them do, are calling themselves group names.  Like ISIS, ISIL, Al-Qaeda, Al-Shabaab, Boko Haram, Taliban and other names.

Does this mean they are different than every other Muslim we see living in various countries?

Yes... and no.

In one way, they are not different.  For those, what are called terrorist groups, are basically Muslims who are committed to doing what their god would have them do.  What they all are taught in their Mosques, by their Imams.

Yes, they are different in another way.  After all, not all Muslims have committed their lives to do what their god wants them to do, yet.

But, as I said previously, all Muslims have been taught what they need to be doing for their god.

And, in countries around the world, Muslims have only committed to doing what their god wants them to do, when they have a large number of Muslims, there!

Here in Canada, we have Muslims.  But, I believe we do not yet have as many as they feel they require to do a lot of work for their god, here.

Still, in the past, our government stopped some Muslims from attacking.  I pray this will continue to happen, but am doubtful, since our new Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, is in support of Muslims.  And, promised them, before being elected, that he would give them more rights.

Please... pray.

Response to E-mail Re: Islam Pt. 1... of 3

Today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be discussing an e-mail I received April 6th, 2016, instead of writing about other things, like I normally do at the beginning of every week.

Before I address the issue, I want to remind you that I do not check my LwL e-mail every day.  Nor, do I usually copy and paste messages e-mailed to me.  But, today, I am doing that.

I won't say who sent the e-mail message to me, but I will share it with you; I copied and pasted it here:  "Nazi's and Christians murdered Jews in WWII, not Muslims.  I think you are wrong to categorically state that Muslims are taking over the world.  Your opinion can incite hate toward a whole group of people this way.  Please be accurate about what you are saying.  And A LOT of people and governments care about what happened to those poor people in the park.  Extremists who use  'religion' as their motive to terrorize should be identified as such and not clumped in with all people of their faith."

The female who sent me that e-mail message sent me another; here is the message I copied and pasted here:  "On what basis do you claim that Islam is teaching Muslims "the same thing" and what is that 'thing'? If you quote the Scriptures for your position, what evidence do you have to support what you are saying?"

Knowing that I haven't been well, and do not check my e-mail every day, I responded saying (yes, I copied/pasted, again):  "Thank you for your questions, ____. Unfortunately, I've been busy, but I will reply to you, next week. Blessings..."

It seemed the female who e-mailed me, wasn't happy with my response.  Here's what she e-mailed me, again (copied/pasted, again):  "You seem to want to talk to me through
Your blog.  It is not truthful to depict all Islam through the narrow perspective of ISIS.  But that is your choice. I believe you are quoting Holy Scriptures to use as your rally to incite hate towards a large group rather than focus on the warping being done by brutes and radicals in the name of Islam.  Your arguments against Islam infer that all Muslims want to instill their beliefs and practices on non-Muslims and that is simply undefendable.   Too bad you didn't want to spend a little time addressing me directly."

Please know that my original idea was to e-mail this female back again.  However, after receiving her message about me responding by my blog entry, I thought it may be a better idea.

Why?  Because if there is anyone else reading LwL, who thinks along the same lines as this female does, they need to be able to read what I have to say.  Plus, it would take me less time to respond to anyone else, having to personally type an e-mail message.

So, I truly thank this woman for e-mailing me, suggesting I would respond in a LwL entry!

I must admit, I truly feel badly that she has falsely accused me of being hateful.

If you know me, or if you have read LwL for a very long time, you'll be aware that my reason for writing about Islam the way I do, is to educate people.  Educate them, by telling the truth about Islam.

Truth that I learned when I took courses in UNDERSTANDING ISLAM.

Has she taken courses in UNDERSTANDING ISLAM?  Probably not.  Have you?

If not, you should do so.

This way, you'll learn that what I've been saying is truthful.  After all, God told us to speak truth.

I want people to realize what will happen here in Canada, in the future.

Why?

Well, first of all, every person needs to gain salvation, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

By doing so, they will know that even if their lives end sooner than expected by any Muslim attacks, they will know where they will spend eternity... in Heaven, with our Lord.

By doing so, they will also come to realize that they need to help their friends and family members also gain salvation.  And, if they are truly saved, they will plant those seeds for Christ.  Especially, since God told us to preach the gospel to all the creatures of the earth.

Of course, Islam is different.

Muslims are taught to convert the world, peaceably if possible.  If conversions are not made, they should cut off our heads.

There's something else I need to mention.

This female also let me know, in another e-mail message that some of her family members were not treated well, when they immigrated into Canada.

I believe this is probably a reason why she feels we need to only love Muslims, and not ever know the truth about what they are expected to do, through Islam.

She needs to know that I mentioned in the past, here on LwL, that after my grandfather came to Canada from Bukovina, which today is partly in Ukraine, he was taken from Montreal where he was a pro-chef at a hotel.

Why?  Because in that era, it was difficult to know if someone was honest and living correctly here in Canada... or, if they were spies during WW1.

Due to my grandfather being able to speak about a half dozen languages, some people thought he must be a spy.  Even though he wasn't.

He spent time, along with many other Ukrainian people, in an internment camp outside Montreal, Quebec.  He had no choice.  Nor, did others.

Here's a link by en.wikipedia.org entitled, Ukrainian Canadian internment:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ukrainian_Canadian_internment.

During WW2, many Japanese people had to do the same in both Canada, and in USA.

Hopefully, her family members didn't have to do what my grandfather and others did.

At first, I was rather upset that she thought I was being hateful.  Especially, since I haven't been.

I also felt she was being hateful to me.  But then, who would care about that.  Possibly, only God.

Thinking about all of this hatefulness that was spoken to me in her e-mails, brought to mind Matthew 10:16-22, "Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
18 And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.
19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.
21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved."

Yes, I write LwL and go forth, to encourage people to understand God and what He would have us do.

He has sent me forth as a sheep, in the midst of wolves.  Just as others have been.  So, we need to therefore be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

We need to beware of men:  for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues.  Yes, in this era, people want to consider I speak lies in hatefulness, instead of realizing I speak truth, in support of our Lord.

We shall also be brought before governors and kings, for His sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.  Meaning, that in this era, we may be brought before governors, prime ministers/kings due to us working for God, by giving a truthful testimony regarding others, when people don't want to believe the truth.

However, if/when this happens, it won't be us speaking.  Just as it isn't me speaking, now.  It will be the Spirit of God our Father, which speaks.

The brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father, the child, and the children shall rise up against their parents and cause them to be put to death.  Isn't this what is happening, when people who claim to be Christian or even non-Christians, speak up against those of us who do work for God?  Not, just our family members.

Ye shall be hated of all men, for my name's sake; but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.  How wonderful is this?!

Humanly, I don't like being hated of all men/people, for my name's sake.  However, I realize that even if people do not want to accept what I do for God, I will be hated.  And, I'm grateful that because I shall endure/endureth to the end, I shall be saved!

Hopefully, this female who e-mailed me, is truly born-again... and not just someone who thinks she's Christian, even though she has not gained true salvation.  After all, there are many church groups out there who only speak of Jesus as LOVE... and do not learn or accept anything else taught in the Bible, including God's Wrath.

I apologize for the length of this entry.  Especially, since I have not yet dealt with any of the other information needed.

Still, there's something I need to say, today.

Without knowing anything about that e-mail message I received, a Facebook (FB) friend of mine, T posted a remark I agree with.  Here it is: Don’t be a half-Christian. There are too many of such in the world. The world has a profound respect for people who are sincere in their faith.”

No One...

Being our Lord's Day, I'm reminding you here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) that I'll be going to worship with my church family.  And, with my granddaughter, A!

After having some stressful things happening in my life, I thought about some music I absolutely adore.

I am not sure who wrote it, but I'm sharing a link sung by Billy Gaines entitled, No One Ever Cared For Me Like Jesushttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GCA5UsL41ME&nohtml5=False.  The lyrics are below.

No One Ever Cared For Me Like Jesus

I would love to tell you what I think of Jesus,
Since I found in Him a friend so strong and true;
I would tell you how He changed my life completely,
He did something that no other friend could do.

No one ever cared for me like Jesus,
There's no other friend so kind as He;
No one else could take the sin and darkness from me,
O how much He cares for me.

O how much He cares for me.

All my life was full of sin when Jesus found me,
All my heart was full of misery and woe;
Jesus placed His strong and loving arms around me,
And He led me in the way I should go.

No one ever cared for me like Jesus,
There's no other friend so kind as He;
No one else could take the sin and darkness from me,
O how much He cares for me.

O how much He cares
O how much He cares for me.

(This verse wasn't recorded:
Ev'ry day He comes to me with new assurance,
More and more I understand His words of love;
But I'll never know just why He came to save me,
Till some day I see His blessed face above.

No one ever cared for me like Jesus,
There's no other friend so kind as He;
No one else could take the sin and darkness from me,
O how much He cares for me.)

O how much He cares for me!

God loved me so much, that He sent Jesus to earth.

Just as we read, in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Yes, God our Father, loved the world so much, that He gave His only begotten Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ, so that whoever would believe upon Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life!

Wow!  Talk about love...

He loves me.

I love Him.

Do you?
