I'll be letting you know, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) about something shocking that happened to me, on Thursday, March 17th.
I must admit, we've had a much nicer winter, during this El Nino year.
Yes, I realize that my friends and family who live in the south western part of USA, don't agree. After all, they have had a colder and less nice, winter. But, we've enjoyed our warmer and less snowy winter that we've had, in my area.
With the temperature being warm, like spring weather, I decided to open my balcony sliding door.
Yes, I've done it before. Especially, since we've had nice days.
I unlocked the door. And, went to slide it open.
Instead of that happening, the handle exited the upper and lower parts that are screwed into the door. :'(
At first, I felt truly shocked.
I prayed. Lord, help me!
He did help me.
Just as we read, in Hebrews 4:16, "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."
By praying, it was like I came boldly unto the throne of grace. I obtained mercy. And, grace to help me in my time of need.
For this, I was truly thankful! Thank You, Lord!
How did He help me? He let me know what I needed to do, to repair the problem!
And, He let me feel that I could repair the problem, without having to hire someone to do it.
You see, I looked at the upper and lower parts that are screwed into the door, again. I noticed that the lower part, wasn't in place. It was slightly turned.
I got out the screwdriver that was needed.
Then, I placed the handle that goes between the upper and lower screwed in parts, back into place. And, I tightened the screw on that lower portion that had not been secure.
Thank You, Lord!
You helped me repair what needed repairing. Even though I am not a strong, nor talented person who can do repair work.
I'll be forever grateful.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...
