Answered Prayer on R & E Sunday!

I must admit, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), that Resurrection Sunday... Easter Sunday, was quite a day!

After receiving zero (0) amount of sleep, I managed to go join my church family for our Sunrise Easter service, that took place at 6:00 a.m.  I must admit, it was wonderful!

Afterwards, we enjoyed breakfast, together.

I made it home early enough to have one (1) hour of sleep.  For this, I praised God!

Since my granddaughter, A was staying home and not joining me as she had in the past, I went alone to our 11:00 a.m. worship service.  I praise God I was able to worship with my church family, again.

Wow!  It was truly wonderful worshipping in spirit and in truth, once again!

Later, we enjoyed together our pot-luck luncheon, that had been previously scheduled.

Then, after dropping by to see a couple of friends for a few minutes, I made my way to see my daughter, B... and our family.

My granddaughter, A was there.  So was all her brothers, except my grandson, N.

We had a nice visit, even though it wasn't very long in time.

Then, I had to make my way to my daughter, P's.  She had invited me for a mid-day dinner.

When I spoke with her, she let me know that dinner was going to be delayed for a while.

I smiled, and asked if it was okay if I returned a little later.  She agreed!  Praise God!

Driving home, I was exhausted.  And, after arriving, slept for 40 minutes.

Then, I made my way back to my daughter P's home.

While there, I got to see all our family members belonging to P.  Including my great-grandson, E!!!

Plus, my daughter B's son, N... who hadn't been at his mom's home earlier, was there at P's for a while, also!

Someone else I hadn't seen in a while, was there.  It was, my step-grandson, J!  He had been not well.  But, God answered my prayer and provided for him.  Not just to improve his health, but also for something else.

You see, I prayed that God would provide for J to be with us, for our Easter dinner and time together.

Yes.  He answered my prayer!

I praise God!  Hallelujah!

This meant that I was able to see each and every relative, here in Windsor!

Thank You, Lord!

At P's, we all enjoyed a wonderful, delicious dinner, together!  Thank You, P and K (P's boyfriend)!

I praise God that He did all I asked of Him!  Thank You, Lord!

Just as we read, in John 15:7, "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you."

Yes, I praise God that He provided for me, all that I had prayed for.

My friend, I pray you had a wonderful and blessed Resurrection Sunday... Easter Sunday.

I pray God answered your prayers.  Just as He did, mine.

After all, just as we read in today's Bible verse, God did for me... what He said He would do, if we abide in Him... and if His words abide in us.

Hopefully, you read God's Word, the Bible.  Hopefully, you accept Him and His Word.

My friend, may God bless you.  Just as He does, me... in not all ways.  But, in some ways.

Died...

You're probably aware that I'll be discussing our Holy weekend of Easter, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

Last Friday March 25th, being Good Friday, I went to worship with my church family.  Hopefully, you did, also.

We had a lovely worship service.

We honoured God!  And, worshipped in spirit, in truth... and through music.

Plus... we prayed and had communion.  For this, I praise God!

Our Lord, Jesus Christ, is so very important to us.

He loved us so very much, that He came to earth to fulfill God the Father's plan of redemption for us.

Us.

We weren't yet born, yet He died for the sin of all the world... of all who will believe upon Him.

Knowing we weren't born yet, and realizing that there were very few people considered to have gained salvation, at that time, it means people were without strength.  And, were basically ungodly.

Just as we read, in Romans 5:6, "For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly."

Even now, here on earth... the majority of people are not saved.  For they haven't gained salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

He died for the ungodly.

For those of us... who had not yet come to Christ and gained salvation.

My friend, if you haven't yet come to Christ, please... do so, today.

Tomorrow may be too late.

Until next time...

Another Special Day...

As I mentioned last Saturday, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), my deceased husband, Gordon and I were married on Easter weekend.

Today, Easter weekend is now over.

However, today is another special day for me.

You see, March 29th, was when Gordon and I were married.

If he were alive, today would be our wedding anniversary.  And, this would be another time when we would celebrate having gotten married.

But, we can't.  And, there's no point in even trying to say to him... Happy Anniversary!

He's dead.

As you may have read on last Saturday's LwL entry, I mourn.  Even though it has been six and a half (6 1/2) years, since Gordon died.

Why?

Love never dies.  Even though our loved ones die, here on earth.

I miss loving him, and being loved by him, here on earth.

Is it unacceptable to mourn?  To grieve?  To cry?

Absolutely, not.

Our Lord, Jesus did, also.

Just as we read, in John 11:35, "Jesus wept."

Yes, Jesus wept.  He cried.

When?

Jesus wept, when He saw Mary weeping.

Why was she weeping?

Mary and Martha's brother Lazarus had died.

Some people think that no one should mourn.  Or, grieve the loss of a loved one.

But, Jesus showed us, that it is normal for those who are breathing in this world, to weep.  And, to mourn.

I praise God that He has provided so that our loved ones, who have gained salvation, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, are people we will see in Heaven, after our life ends.  And, will spend eternity in Heaven with Him.

Of course, this only happens to people who have gained salvation.

Have you?

If not, you will spend eternity in Hell, separated from God.  With NO chance of escape.

Hopefully, you have gained salvation.

If so, I'll look forward to seeing you either here on earth, or in Heaven.

Until next time...

Easter Monday!

On Life with Lynnie (LwL) today, I want to discuss more about our Lord.

A Facebook (FB) friend of mine, Mark Grosse lives in the same city I do, and makes a lot of postings on FB.  Including on a group page I created called, Jesus Loves You!

Here is a link to a YouTube video he made entitled, Thirty Nine Lasheshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJulbeRuWqQ#t=410.

If you watched this, you'll know that not only was there discussion about the 39 lashes.  But, you will also be able to read about the torture our Lord, Jesus Christ went through, when he was on the cross during his crucifixion.

Being Easter Monday, many people don't think of Jesus in today's environment.  But, my brothers and sisters in Christ, do.

When I think of our Lord, Jesus Christ, I am so grateful that I love Him.

After all, He loves me.

And, has provided a place for me in Heaven.

Just as we read, in John 14:2-3, "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."

See!  Jesus told us that in God the Father's house there are many mansions.  He let us know that if it were not so, He would have told us.  But, Jesus let us know that He was going to prepare a place for us.

Jesus let us know that if He goes and prepares a place for us, He will come again, and receive us unto Him, that where He is, there we may be also.

Yes, He did it for me.  For, I am trusting in/believing upon my Lord, Jesus Christ.

Are you?

If you have gained salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ... then, you also have a place in Heaven waiting for you.

My friend, if you haven't yet come to Christ, then please... do so, today.  Tomorrow, may be too late.

Until next time...

Happy Resurrection Day! Happy Easter!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL),
today is a very special day.

The majority of people call it...
Easter Sunday!
After all, it is...
Easter Sunday.

However,
it is also...
Resurrection Day!

Today,
is the day
we celebrate
that our Lord,
Jesus Christ
rose from the dead,
and ascended
into Heaven
to be with
God,
the Father.

Just as we read, in John 20:17, "Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God."

Yes, Jesus was resurrected.  And, He let us know how important His resurrection was, just as we read, in John 11:25, "Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:"

How grateful I am
that our Lord,
Jesus Christ
fulfilled
God,
 the Father's
plan of
redemption
for us.
For if
Jesus
hadn't done
 this,
we would
 not
have a way
to spend
eternity
in
Heaven
with
Him
and with
God,
the
Father!

Yes,
I will
wish
you
Happy Easter!

However,
I also
wish
you
Happy Resurrection Sunday!

Until next time...

Blessed...

I have to admit, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), that today is a special day.

It was after Jesus died on the cross.  And, had not yet been risen from the dead.

He was missed by the apostles.  And, by those who loved Him.

In my life, this Saturday on Easter weekend, today... is difficult for me.

You see, my deceased husband, Gordon and I got married on the Saturday of Easter weekend.

If Gordon was alive, we would celebrate our wedding anniversary... even though we would celebrate our wedding anniversary again on the correct calendar date.

No, this wasn't the date.  But, it was the day of our Holy weekend, where we became one and were no longer separate people.

Just as Jesus was mourned, I mourn Gordon.

Is my mourning only for him?  Not really.

I'm now mourning my cousin who I just found, had died.  Plus, I mourn my parents, my brother and other family members and friends.

But, this day is a difficult day for me.  Always.

Even so, God provides for me.

He blesses me,  And, he comforts me.

Just as we read, in Matthew 5:4, "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted."

I praise God that He comforts me.

Hopefully, He comforts you, too.  For, I know that we all have lost people we care for.  And, love.

But, only if we belong to Him.

Are you saved?  Did you gain salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ?

If not, you may not be comforted.

But, if you belong to Him, He will always provide for you.

My friend, if you haven't yet come to Christ, please... do so, today.  Tomorrow may be too late.

Until next time...

Happy Good Friday!

Today, on
Life with Lynnie (LwL)
 we will
celebrate
Good Friday!

When I was a child
and found out
that
our Lord,
Jesus Christ
was crucified,
it broke my heart.
Just as it does
even today,
for some people.

However,
once I became
a born-again
Christian,
I was so very
grateful,
that our Lord,
Jesus Christ
gave His life
for us... to
pay the price
for the sin
of the world,
of all
who believe
upon Him.

Yes,
Christ
died
for
us...
just as we read, in Romans 5:8, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

How thankful
I am,
that God,
our Father
commendeth
His love
toward us...
and sent
His Son,
our Lord,
Jesus Christ
to earth,
to die for
us sinners.

My friend,
even
though
some people
think that we
are born
lovely
people,
the truth is,
we are
all
born
sinners.

Jesus
gave His life
for us...
because
He loved us...
and wanted
us to
gain
salvation.

We need to
trust in/believe
upon
our Lord,
Jesus Christ,
to be saved.

If you have not
yet
come to
Christ,
then,
please do so
today.

Tomorrow,
may be
too late.

Please...
celebrate
what
Jesus
did
for me...
and for
you!

Thank You, Jesus!

Happy Good Friday!

Until next time...

Dream & Obituary...

If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday, you're aware about how God helped me.  And, answered my prayer.

Just as He did again, later on Friday.  Only with another circumstance.

Throughout all last week, I had been thinking that if I felt improved, I might consider driving on a trip.

Yes, I had hoped to have gone to visit in Arizona, Texas, and elsewhere in USA, during the winter.  But, it hadn't happened, due to me not being well enough.

But, knowing I was feeling like I was improving, I thought about going to Boston, Massachusetts, USA and then making my way to see relatives in the Canadian Provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Quebec, before returning home.

Looking at maps, and googling information, I prayed on Thursday evening about whether or not I should make that trip.  Especially since Nova Scotia isn't that close to home!

I actually prayed about my cousins and other family members.

When I was asleep, I had a dream.  In the dream, God told me to check and find out if a cousin of mine, was still alive... or, dead.

Upon waking up, I felt rather upset.

I thought... why would God tell me to do that?  Is she dead?  Or, alive?

Just so you know, she never called me.  It was always me who called her, in the past.

For a while, we spoke.  But, there were times when I couldn't reach her.

Due to all my surgeries, I didn't make calls.  Partially, due to me not being well.

However, when I did call eventually, I couldn't reach her.

Did this surprise me?  Yes... and no.

You see, my cousin had told me she had been thinking of moving.  So, I thought I lost her.

But, after arriving home last Friday, in terrible pain from walking that block, I decided to google her name.

After God telling me in that dream, to find out if she was dead or alive, I did it.  I did this, because I thought that if she had died, there would be an obituary.

Guess what?  There was an obituary.

I found out, my cousin had died.

I called my brother.  I asked him if he know our cousin had died.  He told me, he didn't!

After being upset and crying, I thought about the whole situation.  And prayed, again.

You see, I realized that God had actually answered my prayer.  The prayer I prayed on Thursday evening, about whether or not I should drive to Nova Scotia, to see my cousin.

What happened, truly was to let me find out the truth, and realize that there was no need to drive there.  Talk about Him answering prayer!

Thinking about this, brought to mind 1 John 5:15, "And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him."

Yes, I knew He heard me.  He knew what my need was.  And, He provided for me, again.  Just as He had done, previously that day.

How grateful I am that He loves me.  And, answers for what I desire Him to do for me.

Thank You, Lord!

Does God love you this way?  Does He provide for you?  Does He answer your prayer?

Life isn't easy.  But, God is good.

He will provide for our needs, as long was we belong to Him.

Do you belong to Him?  Are you His child?

My friend, I hope you are.  For, if so... you will be loved by Him.

If you aren't His child, He may hear you, but He won't need to respond to help you.

How can you become His child?

Trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ and you shall be saved (Acts 16:31).  By obtaining salvation, you then become God's child.

Hopefully, you are His child.  For this would mean we are brothers and sisters in the Lord!

Until next time...

Pain... and Prayer!

I'll be telling you, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) about how last week was rather difficult, for me.

Knowing that I need to become stronger in order to have the surgery I need, and knowing our weather has been like spring weather, I decided to do something I hadn't been able to do since before I had the first of several surgeries, in September 2012.

I went and walked outside.

Being so weak, due to having had all those surgeries/operations, I haven't been able to anything like this.  Well, at least, not for such a long time.

On Tuesday, I did it.

Truly, I felt like it nearly killed me.  But, I had prayed for God to help me.  And, He did!  I was able to do it.

After arriving home, I hurt all over.  Yes, it felt like every muscle in my body was hurting.

This was shocking to me.  After all, all I had walked was about a block!

Sigh...

I took Ibuprofen.  Not once.  I took it several times Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

And, I prayed that God would take the pain away.  By later on Thursday, I felt improved.

So, on Friday, I did the same thing, again!

And, came home in pain.  Yes, it was rather severe, all over again.

Again, I took Ibuprofen.  And, prayed.

Yes, He answered my prayer.  But, not just due to the pain.

You see, on Friday, I drove to where I thought the walking would be good for me.  Level surfaces, etc.

Just as I was arriving to where my intention was to walk, it began raining.  :'(

This was so very upsetting to me.  After all, I felt I needed to do the walking.

So, I stopped my van, and prayed.

I asked God to stop the rain.  To hold it off, until later.  Or, to even just let the rain clouds move away.

A few seconds after I prayed, I decided I should just drive home.  But, as I began to drive, I noticed the rain had stopped!

For this, I praised God!  Hallelujah!

Thank You, for answering my prayer!  And, for answering it, so quickly!

By Him answering my prayer as fast as He did, I knew it had to be His desire to provide for my need, and answer my prayer.  After all, He heard my prayer.

Thinking of this, reminded me of 1 john 5:14, "And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:"

Yes, this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He heareth us.

He definitely heard me when I prayed.  Thank You, Lord!

For this, I will always be thankful!  Especially, since I had to suffer physically again, after doing that walking.

I know... a block isn't long for most people.  It's probably not for you.  But, it is... for me, due to my weakness.

Even so, I am grateful and believe God will heal me.

So, one again, I will... thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

The Passion...

Even though today is Tuesday, I feel I need to say a little more, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) about last SONday.  Palm Sunday!  The Sunday, before Easter.

After my 40 wink nap that I immensely enjoyed, I ate dinner.

My phone rang with a long distance call.  It was my aunt, N.

My aunt, N... lives in Kingston, Ontario.  Quite a distance from here.

She wanted to know how my daughter, B was doing.  You see, she knew that B had surgery, recently.

I was thankful that my aunt, N has prayed for B, and for my daughter, P... and their family members.  In addition to me, also.  Of course, I also pray for them!

After discussing her family members, and hearing that she would be spending Easter weekend with some of them, we wished each other Happy Easter!

Then, I began to watch on Fox 2 Detroit, a musical entitled, The Passion.

Originally, I heard about it on Facebook (FB), from a FB friend who actually lives in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA... where the musical took place.  Thank you, my friend, T!  I'm grateful you told us about it.  May God bless you!

As you probably realize, it wasn't the movie with that same title.  It was a musical.  A live musical on television.  And, it was set in today's standards.

Here is a link by hollywoodlife.com where you can not just read about it, but there is also a link for you to click on if you'd like to see it:  http://hollywoodlife.com/2016/03/20/the-passion-live-stream-watch-online-video-fox-musical/.

At first, I didn't know for sure if I would like it.  After all, as I said previously, it was set in today's standards.

But, I must admit that I truly enjoyed it!  It touched my heart.

Seeing how others... like me, were thankful for Jesus' crucifixion, brought tears to my eyes.

And, reminded me of Isaiah 53:5, "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."

Yes, He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.

Jesus fulfilled God the Father's plan of redemption for us.  He gave His life, for the sin of the world, of all who will believe.

Just as we read in God's Word, the Bible.

This musical story of The Passion, made me so very happy.

Not just due to the fact that it was Biblical in nature.  Although this did make me happy.

It also made me happy, because so many people from New Orleans participated in it, and so many were there to watch everything that happened, also.  The people there, were church family.  Saints.

When it ended, it closed with everyone joining in, singing... When The Saints Go Marching In.  We'll address this, another day.

Until next time...

Help?!

As I said yesterday, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I planned to go worship with my church family.  And, I did.

But, not with my granddaughter, A.

She was supposed to come with me.  However, I heard first thing SONday morning, that I won't bring her until next weekend.  Easter.

I made my way to join my church family to worship.  And, enjoyed every moment!

Afterwards, I headed over to see my daughter, P for a few minutes.  I gave her something my friend, A asked me to give her.

Then, I made my way to my daughter, B's (A's mom).  I gave her something that my friend, A had asked me to give her for my granddaughter, A!

After a few minutes, I left there.  And, made my way to a nearby store, where my friend, C and I arranged to meet up.

My friend, C was also thankful to receive something from my friend, A.

My friend A... I hope you read this, and realize how thankful everyone was, receiving gifts from you.  Thank you, my friend.  You're a blessing to me, and to others, as well.

Ahhh...  thank You, Lord!

I was happy that my van was then empty from gifts my friend, A had asked me to give away.

Yes, I'm sure you realize she's moving, soon.  It's her condo apartment that God helped me sell, on the same day the listing went on the MLS system.  Thank You, Lord!

Once I arrived home, I decided to just rest up.

You see, I had only one and a half (1 1/2) hours sleep, Saturday night.  Hopefully, you realize I enjoyed that relaxing 40 wink nap, I had!

Knowing everything I went through on SONday wasn't easy, I was thankful.  After all, I was very tired.  Yet, God helped me through it all.

Yes, He helps us.

Just as we read, in Psalm 121:2, "My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth."

I praise God that He let us know that our help cometh from the Lord... which made heaven and earth.

If we hadn't ever heard this, or read it, we would not have known the truth.  The truth from God.

My friend, if you haven't been reading God's Word, the Bible, daily... please do it.  Read it.

When you read God's Word, the Bible... He will reveal so much to you, that you will be thankful.

Always.

Until next time...

Forever!

I'm letting you know here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) that I'm going to worship with my church family!  After all, today is our Lord's Day!

If you read LwL yesterday, you'll know I was grateful.  Thankful that He answered my prayer and helped me do the repair work that needed to be done.  Thank You, Lord!

Thinking about that, brought to mind some music that I adore.

It's entitled, Forever Grateful.  Here is a link for you to listen to and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20YbsMsMKC8 .  The lyrics are below.

Forever Grateful

You did not wait for me to draw near to You,
But You clothed Yourself in frail humanity.
You did not wait for me to cry out to You,
But You let me hear Your voice calling me.

And I'm forever grateful, Lord, to You.
I'm forever grateful for the cross.
I'm forever grateful to You,
That You came to seek and save the lost.

I'm forever grateful, Lord, to You.
I'm forever grateful for the cross.
I'm forever grateful to You,
That You came to seek and save the lost.

Yes, I must admit, I'm forever grateful to You, Lord... that you came, to seek and save the lost.

Just like we read, in Matthew 18:11, "For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost."

Our Lord, Jesus Christ, came to save that which was lost.  Us.

Thank You, Lord!

I'm also forever grateful for the cross.  And, what you did by giving your life through crucifixion, to pay for the sin of the world, of all who will believe upon You.

Thank You, Lord!

You did all of this, before I was born.

Even so, I'll always be grateful.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

Shocked! But, Thankful!

I'll be letting you know, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) about something shocking that happened to me, on Thursday, March 17th.

I must admit, we've had a much nicer winter, during this El Nino year.

Yes, I realize that my friends and family who live in the south western part of USA, don't agree.  After all, they have had a colder and less nice, winter.  But, we've enjoyed our warmer and less snowy winter that we've had, in my area.

With the temperature being warm, like spring weather, I decided to open my balcony sliding door.

Yes, I've done it before.  Especially, since we've had nice days.

I unlocked the door.  And, went to slide it open.

Instead of that happening, the handle exited the upper and lower parts that are screwed into the door.  :'(

At first, I felt truly shocked.

I prayed.  Lord, help me!

He did help me.

Just as we read, in Hebrews 4:16, "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."

By praying, it was like I came boldly unto the throne of grace.  I obtained mercy.  And, grace to help me in my time of need.

For this, I was truly thankful!  Thank You, Lord!

How did He help me?  He let me know what I needed to do, to repair the problem!

And, He let me feel that I could repair the problem, without having to hire someone to do it.

You see, I looked at the upper and lower parts that are screwed into the door, again.  I noticed that the lower part, wasn't in place.  It was slightly turned.

I got out the screwdriver that was needed.

Then, I placed the handle that goes between the upper and lower screwed in parts, back into place.  And, I tightened the screw on that lower portion that had not been secure.

Thank You, Lord!

You helped me repair what needed repairing.  Even though I am not a strong, nor talented person who can do repair work.

I'll be forever grateful.

Thank You, Lord!

Beside Me?

There is something I feel I need to discuss, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).  It's about ISIS.

Very few people are now posting anything on Facebook (FB) regarding Islam.  I believe it is because FB doesn't really want to think anyone may be causing a problem.

If that is the true reason, then I feel badly.

After all, ISIS is attacking people.  Not just now and then, but I believe on a regular basis.

Why do I think this?

Here is a link by globalnews.ca entitled, IS chemical attacks kill child, wound 600 in northern Iraqi cityhttp://globalnews.ca/news/2574224/is-chemical-attacks-kill-child-wound-600-in-northern-iraqi-city/?sf22451280=1.

I truly thank Global News for posting this, and other articles regarding what ISIS is doing.  Truly, I believe all news groups should be doing this, so that people everywhere will see, read and understand the truth about ISIS.

If you've read other articles regarding ISIS, you'll be aware that they are attacking infidels.  That is, people who are not Muslim.  People, who are not Islamic.

However, they are also attacking fellow Muslims.  In various areas.  Even in the country they are located in.  Much like what you read in today's article.

Some of you may be wondering why ISIS is doing this.  Attacking fellow Muslims, in addition to infidels.

Well, I believe it is due to the fact that even though ISIS members are Muslims, they are more inclined to do what Islam teaches.  What Muslims learn through the Mosque teachings.

In other words, they are true Muslims... doing what their holy teachings tell them they should be doing.

By feeling this way, they realize that any Muslims who are not as committed to their allah (their god) as they are, are not worthy of living.  So, they don't care about attacking their brothers and sisters, because they don't feel related to them.

My friend, please... pray for those people.

Not just ISIS members.  But, pray for all who are Islamic, for being Muslims, they are all taught the same things, even if they all don't commit and work together doing what they are taught to do.

Pray also, because they have been misled by their false god.  For he is not a true god.

There is only one (1) true God.

Just as we read, in Isaiah 44:6, "Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God."

Yes, as you read, there is no other God than the one we believe in.  He's the first and the last.  There will never be another.

When you pray, please don't just pray that ISIS will stop doing what they are doing.

Please, pray that each and every Muslim, will come to know and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord, and Saviour.  Just as everyone else here on earth, needs to do.

And, reach out.  Speak up.  Speak out.  Talk to them about Jesus.

Just as God told us we need to do, when He said that we need to preach the gospel to all the creatures of the earth (Mark 16:15).

If you do this, God will bless you.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

As I'm sure you're aware,
here on Life with Lynnie (LwL)
I celebrate various days in the year.
Like today.
St. Patrick's Day!

When I think of St. Patrick's Day,
I think of
...clover.

Especially, this one,
for it represents...
God!
You may or may not be aware,
but it seems that St. Patrick's Day is celebrated
on March 17th of every year...
since it was said to be the day of the death of
Saint Patrick.
Here is a link for you to check it out:

It touches my heart that the
 Republic of Ireland
honours
St. Patrick.

You see, since the majority of people
in the Republic of Ireland are..
Catholic...
St. Patrick was not!

When I say it touches my heart,
I truly mean it.
It makes me happy!
Especially, since he was accepted by
all he preached the gospel to.
No matter what they considered
their religion to be.

For this, I praise God!

Also, I have to admit that I am happy that both the
Republic of Ireland, and Northern Ireland,
where most of my Irish family live,
get along well, today.

For this, I praise God!

Thinking of praising God,
brought to mind,
Hebrews 13:15,
"By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually,
that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name."

Thank You for all you have done for us, Lord!

Yes, my friend...
Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Until next time...

Confidence!

If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday, you'll know that God provided for my friend, A.  And, for me.

As I mentioned yesterday, I'll always be thankful that He answered my prayer for my friend, A.  And, for me.

You see, as I mentioned I have not been strong enough to return to work, yet.  Work, as being a Realtor, can be physically difficult, as I said before.

I need to mention that my friend, A... and I had been looking at various apartments, before we listed her condominium apartment for sale.  We had seen a couple of units she seemed to be attracted to, but she didn't feel confident that they were right for her.

Knowing this, I prayed last Saturday, all day.

I was concerned that we hadn't yet found a unit that my friend, A adored.  Yes, she liked a couple as I said, but hadn't felt confident in acquiring one of them.

In the afternoon, I prayed harder.

As it turned out, another unit was available for her, in her time frame.  For this, I praised God!

You see, again He answered my prayer, for her.

Did this surprise me?  No.

After all, I know that He heard my prayer.

Just as we read, in 1 John 5:14, "And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:"

Yes, He heard my prayer for A.

As you probably realize, I had asked that He would provide a unit for A to live in, that would be satisfying to her.  And, would be what He wanted her to have.

My heart was touched.

Especially knowing that it was His will, to hear my prayer, and to answer according to the prayer request.

Even now, it makes me almost want to cry... in happiness.  Not for me, but for my friend A, whose need was provided for by Him.

I praise You, Lord!

Thank You, for loving those of us, who love You.  And, for providing for our needs.

Thank You, Lord!

Hitherto...

I'm discussing something here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) that you probably have not heard me talk about.

At least, not for a very long time. Well, at least for more than three and a half (3 1/2) years, since I couldn't do my work.

I'm referring to my work as a Realtor.

That's right.  Although I did try a couple of times over that past time, I found I could not do the work, due to being too weak after having all those surgeries.

Weak?  Yes.

So weak that even today, I cannot lift my sign frames without causing me extreme pain.  And, it is rather dangerous for me to even try to lift them, at this time.

Even so, my friend, A and I had discussed something she wanted done this year.

At first, I wasn't sure if I could help, A.  But, after thinking about it, and praying, I realized I could help her.

What did she want done?

A wanted me to list her condominium apartment for sale.  She was hoping to make a move that would be positive to her.

I realized I didn't need to lift any sign frames.  Nor, did I have to go up and down full staircases, over and over again.

Yes, going up and down, down and up again, on full staircases wouldn't yet be easy for me, due to the weakness I still have.

But, God let me know it would be okay for me to help, A.  So, I did.

On Friday, March 4th, I met with my friend, A.

We completed the paperwork.  Later, I faxed the listing to my broker.  And, to the real estate board.

Knowing it would not be added onto our MLS system until some time on the coming Monday, I prayed.  And, prayed.  And, prayed.

I prayed that God would help me do what A needed done.

I also prayed and asked Him to provide multiple offers on A's condo unit.  And, I asked him if He would make it sell quickly.  Not just for the price requested.  But, also for more than the listing price.

On Monday, March 7th I realized the listing came early onto the MLS system.

We had seven (7) showings that day.  Plus, there were other Realtors who wanted to show the unit, the following day.

There was a couple Realtors who could not process an offer that day, even though we were having three (3) offers presented late that evening.

Yes, God answered my prayer.

Not just with the quick showings and multiple offer situation.  But, He also provided so that A's condo unit sold for more than the list price.

I praised God!  Hallelujah!

I felt truly joyful.  And, so did my friend, A!

Thinking of this, brought to mind, John 16:24, "Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full."

Yes, we had not asked anything of Him, regarding that situation, previously.  But, knowing I prayed, and asked of Him, my joy was full.  After all, we received what I had actually prayed for, for my friend, A.

Again, I need to say, thank you, Lord!

I thank You, for helping my friend, A.  We're both thankful that You provided for her.

I thank You, for answering my prayer request.  The request I mentioned earlier, that no one knew I had prayed for... except our Lord.

I praise You, Lord!  And, will always be thankful.

Thank You, Lord!

Therefore...

If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday, you're probably aware I went to worship.

Well, I did!

But, I didn't go to be with my church family and pastor, where I normally worship.  Instead, I went to First Baptist Church, 710 Mercer St., Windsor, Ontario.  The church where I had been asked once again to sing.

Yes, again I sang there.

Not to honour me.  To honour... God.

I'm not saying I'm the best singer in the world.  Especially, since I don't always sing with music.  Instead, I prefer to sing... a capella (without music).

However, I know that my singing is acceptable.  If it hadn't been, I wouldn't have been asked once again to sing there in their worship service.

I must admit, He helped me to honour and glorify Him.  He did so, by having me be requested once again, to sing.

Just as we read we should do, in 1 Corinthians 6:20, "For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's."

Yes, we are bought with a price.  The price that Jesus paid, when he came to earth, and died on the cross for the sin of the world... of all who believe upon Him.

Yes, we need to glorify God.  Just as I try to do through the music I sing, when requested to do so.

Using my lungs to sing, and the spirit inside me that are God's, I praise Him for helping me!  And, I pray He'll continue to use me to honour and glorify Him, by using my voice.

I trust you will.  So, I thank You, Lord!

Tell It!

Like I've said in the past, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), today is SONday!

It's the day when we gather together with church family.  And, worship God!

Just as I do almost every SONday, I'm sharing music with you that is sometimes used to worship Him.

It's a hymn by Edmund S. Lorenz.  It was translated from German to English by Jeremiah E. Rankin, and is entitled, Tell It To Jesus.  Here is a link for you to listen and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0QWDcTwbGg.  The lyrics are below.

Tell It To Jesus

Are you weary, are you heavy hearted?
Tell it to Jesus, tell it to Jesus.
Are you grieving over joys departed?
Tell it to Jesus alone.

Tell it to Jesus, tell it to Jesus,
He is a Friend that’s well known.
You’ve no other such a friend or brother,
Tell it to Jesus alone.

Do the tears flow down your cheeks unbidden?
Tell it to Jesus, tell it to Jesus.
Have you sins that to men’s eyes are hidden?
Tell it to Jesus alone.

Tell it to Jesus, tell it to Jesus,
He is a Friend that’s well known.
You’ve no other such a friend or brother,
Tell it to Jesus alone.

Do you fear the gathering clouds of sorrow?
Tell it to Jesus, tell it to Jesus.
Are you anxious what shall be tomorrow?
Tell it to Jesus alone.

Tell it to Jesus, tell it to Jesus,
He is a Friend that’s well known.
You’ve no other such a friend or brother,
Tell it to Jesus alone.

Are you troubled at the thought of dying?
Tell it to Jesus, tell it to Jesus.
For Christ’s coming kingdom are you sighing?
Tell it to Jesus alone.

Tell it to Jesus, tell it to Jesus,
He is a Friend that’s well known.
You’ve no other such a friend or brother,
Tell it to Jesus alone.

Tell it to Jesus, tell it to Jesus,
He is a Friend that’s well known.
You’ve no other such a friend or brother,
Tell it to Jesus alone.

Yes, we need to tell it to Jesus.  Everything.

And, we need to ask of Him... everything.

Then, he may give it to us.

Just as we read, in John 15:16, "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you."

Of course, if it His will, He will give to us what we ask, since we have not chosen Him... but, He chose us.  And, ordained us, that we should go and bring forth fruit, and that our fruit should remain.

Will He do this for absolutely everyone?

He will only do this, for the people who have gained Salvation by trusting in/believing upon Him... our Lord, Jesus Christ... who we are telling to, and asking of.

My friend, if you haven't yet gained salvation, please... come to Christ, today.

Tomorrow, may be too late.

Until next time...

All!

Today, is a day, when I'll be discussing something I do occasionally, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).  Movies!

As you're probably aware, I watch movies.  Even while I do other work.

Here are some I recently watched:

Pal Joey, starring Rita Hayworth, Frank Sinatra and Kim Novak.  If you'd like to check out this musical film, click here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pal_Joey_(film).  Even though I enjoy musical films, I felt a little unnerved by this movie.  Still, I watched it.

Can-Can, starring Frank Sinatra, Shirley MacLaine, and other actors.  To read about this musical film, click here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Can-Can_(film).  While I did enjoy somewhat the music and dancing in this film, I wasn't completely happy with it.  Even so, I watched it.

Wild in the Country, starring Elvis Presley, Hope Lange and other actors.  Want to check out this drama film that has music?  Click here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wild_in_the_Country.  Even though there was falsely caused drama, I enjoyed the music.

The Way We Were, starring Barbra Streisand and Robert Redford.  Click here, to  check out this romantic drama film that had music:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Way_We_Were.  Even though I enjoy Barbra Streisand's music, there was some things in this movie, that I didn't enjoy.

Darling Lili, starring Julie Andrews, Rock Hudson and Gloria Paul.  To check out this American musical film, click here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darling_Lili.  I must admit, I enjoyed this film, even though it also contained sin.

Sin.

To me, almost every movie I watch contains sin.

It doesn't seem to matter what kind of films I watch.  For, even movies with music, seem to have sin in them.

Is this truly shocking?

Not really.  At least not to me.

After all, everyone is a sinner.

Just as we read, in Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"

Yes, all have sinned... and come short of the glory of God.

No one has ever been without sin in their lives.

No one.

Except, our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Jesus came to fulfill God the Father's plan for redemption for us, here on earth.  By doing this, He provided a way for us to gain salvation, and be forgiven for the sin in our lives.

How do we gain salvation?

By trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ (Acts 16:31).

That is the only way salvation can be obtained, for He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.  No one comes to the Father, but by Him.

If you haven't yet come to Christ, please do so, today.  Tomorrow may be too late.

Until next time...

Surgery! & Prayer Request...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be asking you to do something for me.  Please... pray.

Please, pray for my daughter, B.  Yesterday, she had surgery for cervical cancer.

It was quite a day for her, to be sure.

However, I'm thankful that my prayer request was answered in a positive way.  Just as I had requested.

You see, B had been sick recently, and was still coughing.  I was actually surprised that her surgery hadn't been delayed.

In addition, from the time she was born, she has always had a heart murmur.  So, I prayed that God would provide healing for her through this surgery.

This was the first surgery, B has ever had.

For this, I was grateful.  Especially, since having anaesthesia like is normally done before surgery, might have affected her heart, so I had always hoped she'd never require surgery.

Just so you know, my younger daughter, P also had this same surgery done.  It was many years ago.

I praise God that He provided for both of them!

Yes, it almost sounds strange that both my daughters required the same type of surgery, for the same reason.

But then, they also are very similar regarding other physical issues.

P was diagnosed having Lupus and Fibromyalgia more than 10 years ago.  She's been extremely ill off and on.  But, God has been helping her.

A few months ago, B found out she also has Lupus and Fibromyalgia.

Please understand that anyone who has Lupus, usually also has Rheumatoid Arthritis.  So their lives are truly difficult at this time.

However, God brought B through her surgery, yesterday.

As I said, for this I am truly thankful.  Especially, since I didn't feel stressed, but felt peaceful.

Thinking of this, brought to mind, Colossians 3:15, "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful."

Yes, we need to let the peace of God rule in our hearts.  And, we need to be thankful.

Just as I have felt.

It seems the closer I am drawn to Him, the more I respond in ways He wants us to do.  For this, I am truly thankful.

My friend, even though my daughter, B came through her surgery, I believe she still needs prayer.  Prayer for healing.  Just as my daughter, P needs, also.

Please join me in prayer for healing, for B and P.  Thank you, my friend.

May God bless you.

Think?

From time to time, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I discuss and share with you e-mail messages I receive.  I'll be doing that, today.

On March 8th, 2016, I received an e-mail message from the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ).  Here is what I received (I copied and pasted it):

Lynn,

Christians are beheaded. Children are sold into sex slavery.

They are abducted, raped, and massacred throughout the Middle East.

It is our solemn duty to protect them.

At the ACLJ, we won't allow the Gospel to be buried with the bodies of our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Yesterday we presented an oral intervention at the United Nations (U.N.) to expose and stop rampant child rape and torture.

At the European Court of Human Rights, U.N., and State Department, we've filed testimony, briefs, and legal documents defending Christians from genocidal jihadists. Key bills - incorporating our recommendations to recognize the genocide, protect Christians, and fight the sexual torture of children - are moving in Congress.

In just three days, we are presenting another critical oral intervention at the U.N. to protect Christians from genocide.

We need your voice now.

Sign Our Petition: Stop the Sexual Torture of Children.
Sign Our Petition: Call it Genocide; Protect Christians.

Jay Sekulow
ACLJ Chief Counsel

I thought that most people knew what ACLJ was.  However, recently on Facebook (FB), a FB friend who claimed to be extensively educated, had no idea what ACLJ is.

Just so you know, it is a Christian organization.  It's set up to help our brothers and sisters in the Lord, who are being persecuted for their faith.

Do you think that we Christians suffer persecution?

Yes.  It happens.

Just as we read, in 2 Timothy 3:12, "Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution."

My friend, please... do what you can to help those who are being persecuted.

Sign petitions.  Speak up.  Speak out.

And, of course... pray.

If you do, God will bless you.

Downton Abbey...

Once again, I feel I need to discuss something else, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).  It also has to do with SONday!

After arriving home, I was exhausted.

Yes, I went on Facebook (FB) for a short time.  And, even forgot to shut it down, before I went and had a short nap for about 20 minutes.

I talked on the phone with my friend, A.  Not for long.  Just for a few minutes.

Then, I made myself ready to watch DOWNTON ABBEY

Downton Abbey, is a Masterpiece Theatre television (TV) series on the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS).  It's a series that I absolutely adore.

In fact, it was the last episode ever to be made.

I must admit, it brought tears to my eyes... :'(

Okay.  It was an absolutely wonderful episode.

I won't say anything about it.  If I did, you may not want to check it out for yourself.

However, I will say that it seemed that everyone's life became a loving and positive situation that I adored.

Thinking of this, reminded me of Romans 12:10, "Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another"

Even though Downton Abbey isn't a Christian programme, it has been one filled with affection to one another, with brotherly love.  It honoured the preferring of others.

It truly touched my heart.

And, I am heart-broken that it is now over.  Forever.

Unless of course, it is decided to extend the series at some time in the future.

This will only happen, if it God's will, of course.  For sure, I'll pray about it.

If it happens, I'll praise God!

Until next time...

Let!

There's more I'd like to discuss, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).  It's regarding... SONday!

After worshipping was finished, I dropped by to see my grandson, N.  Only, for a few minutes.

Then, off I went to see my daughter, P.

We saw each other only for a few minutes.

Then, off I went to see my daughter, B.

B, needed help.  Knowing I couldn't physically help much, being still weak, I had arranged for some friends to come and help.

Thank you, my friends... C, T, and J!  And, some other friends and family members of theirs, like S and D!

A few of B's friends also showed up to help.  For this I am also grateful.  Thank you!

Eventually, we all got done what we could, for B.

Then, I saw my daughter P, again.  And, stopped by to see my friends C and T, for a few minutes, before heading home.

I must admit, I am not just truly thankful that my friends helped my daughter, B... in a much harder way than I could.  But, with them being all... born-again Christian friends, I was happy that they did what they could.

Not just to help my daughter, B.  But, also to do good works, just as they do for other people on a fairly regular basis.

Thinking of this, brought to mind Matthew 5:16, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

Yes, my friends let their light so shine before men.  Just as we all need to do.

My family could see their good works.

By doing what they did, they glorified our Father, who is in Heaven.

Thank you, my friends.  May God bless each of you...

If...

As I mentioned yesterday, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I went and worshipped with my church family.

I was happy that I didn't go there, alone.  My granddaughter, A came with me!

Although she loves Sunday school, her teacher(s) and children in her age group, she also loves to sit with me.

Even though A was with her group for a while, she also came into the sanctuary.  To be with me.  :)

After whispering for a couple of minutes, A decided she would go back to her group.

For this, I was glad.  Not because I didn't want A with me.  Of course, I love her being with me.

However, with it being the first SONday of the month, it meant we were also celebrating it being our Communion Sunday!

In a way, I was glad A went back to be with her group.  If she hadn't, I'm not sure she would have known why she couldn't take communion with us.

After all, even though she tells me she loves Jesus, it doesn't mean she's ready to take communion.  A, is only five (5) years old.

Knowing A has only been learning about Jesus for the past few months, I believe she hasn't been educated enough yet, to choose to be baptized.  Or, to even know she's accepted Jesus as her Saviour.

Plus, she would have to be old enough and wise enough to know that she would need to confess her sins, to cleanse herself, before taking communion.

Just as we read, in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Yes, we need to confess our sins, before we take communion.  For, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Plus, we need to be cleansed, before taking communion.

We do not need to confess our sins to our minister/pastor/preacher, etc.  No.

The only person we need to confess our sins to, is God.

He's the one who loves us so much, that He created a plan of redemption for us.  A plan that sent His only begotten Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ, to earth... to fulfill the plan of redemption, by dying for the sin of the world, of all who believes upon Him.

By trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, we gain salvation.  We become saved.

I have.

Have you?

If you haven't yet, please... come to Christ, today.  Tomorrow, may be too late.

Until next time...

Arms!

Being our Lord's Day again, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll confirm to you that I will worship with my church family, today!

Like normal, I will share a hymn with you.  It's by Elisha A. Hoffman and Anthony J. Showalter and is entitled, Leaning on the Everlasting Arms.  Here is a link for you to listen to and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrJ3WKNeeRA.  The lyrics are below.

Leaning on the Everlasting Arms

What a fellowship, what a joy divine
Leaning on the everlasting arms
What a blessedness, what a peace that's mine
Leaning on the everlasting arms

Leaning, leaning
Safe and secure from all alarms
Leaning, leaning
Leaning on the everlasting arms

Oh how sweet to walk in this pilgrim way
Leaning on the everlasting arms
Oh how bright the path grows from day to day
Leaning on the everlasting arms

Leaning, leaning
Safe and secure from all alarms
Leaning, leaning
Leaning on the everlasting arms

What have I to dread
What have I to fear
Leaning on the everlasting arms
I have blessed peace with my Lord so near
Leaning on the everlasting arms

Leaning, leaning
Safe and secure from all alarms
Leaning, leaning
Leaning on the everlasting arms

Oh, how sweet to walk
In this pilgrim way
Leaning on the everlasting arms
Oh, how bright the path grows from day to day,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.

Leaning, leaning
Safe and secure from all alarms
Leaning, leaning
Leaning on the everlasting arms

(These verses were not recorded:

Jesus, Jesus how I trust you
How I proved you o'er and o'er
Jesus, Jesus precious Jesus
Oh for Grace to trust Him more

'Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus
Just to take Him at His word
Just to rest upon his promise
Just to know, thus saith the Lord

Jesus, Jesus how I trust Him
How I proved Him o'er and o'er
Jesus, Jesus precious Jesus
Oh for grace to trust Him more)

Yes, we need to be leaning on the everlasting arms.  Just as we heard in this hymn.

And, just as we read, in Deuteronomy 33:27, "The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them."

God has everlasting arms... and He shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.

My friend, if you're experiencing trouble in life, look to God.

He's there for us.  At least, for those of us who are His children.

Are you His child?

Have you gained salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ?

If so, then you are His child, whom will always be loved by God.

For this, be thankful.  Just as I am.

Acceptable?

If you've been reading Life with Lynnie (LwL) for a while, you're probably aware I do something I write about here.  I watch movies!

As you are probably aware, there more than one (1) television (TV) station, where movies are played on.  In fact, there are a couple where only movies are shown.  Even so, many stations have movies to watch.

Here are some I recently watched:

Career, starring Dean Martin, Shirley MacLaine and other actors.  To check out this blacklist film drama, click here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Career_(1959_film).  This movie seemed true to life in some ways, even though it contained a lot of troubles in life.

Moonraker, starring Roger Moore, Lois Chiles and other actors.  Click here, if you'd like to check out this spy film:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moonraker_(film).  Knowing Roger Moore is in a spy film, probably makes you realize this is a movie in the James Bond series

The Usual Suspects, starring Steven Baldwin, Gabriel Byrne, and many other actors.  Want to check this neo-noir mystery crime thriller?  Click here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Usual_Suspects.  Being a mystery crime thriller movie, don't be surprised at how much lying and other things are done.

The Rainmaker, starring Matt Damon, Jon Voight, Danny DeVito and other actors.  If you'd like to check out this legal drama film, click here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Rainmaker_(1997_film).  You can probably guess that people died, lied and did sinful things in this film.

Night Train to Paris, starring Leslie Nielson, Aliza Gur, and other actors.  Click here to check out this British spy film:  ht"tps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_Train_to_Paris.  Since this movie is regarding a secret mission, I'm sure you can understand there is non-truth contained.

Watching movies like these ones can be good.

Even so, there are things they do that remind me of the sinfulness of life, in general.  Life, before people come to Christ, and become saved.

Why do I think this?

When thinking about what happens in them, I realize that they are filled with sin.

Lying and deceit are part of what happened in them.

Thinking of this, brought to mind Psalm 101:7, "He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight."

Sigh... thinking about how actors played parts helped me from being discouraged about life.  After all, they play parts that may be unlike themselves, in their own lives.

However, he that worketh deceit shall not dwell within God's house:  he that telleth lies shall not tarry in His sight.  Just as we read in today's Bible verse.

My friend, lying isn't good.  Deceiving others isn't good.

Hopefully, you're not doing this.  It's truly unacceptable to God.

It's not just unacceptable to God, regarding those who have not yet gained salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

It's also unacceptable to God, regarding those who are His children, by gaining salvation.

So, if you belong to Him and you've sinned, what should you do?

Repent.

If you do, you'll be blessed.

Increased... and Destroyed?

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be discussing something that is very important to me.

What I'll be discussing is in regards to Justin Trudeau, our newly elected Prime Minister, here in Canada.

Why?  Because he is truly opposite to what he should be; at least, in my opinion.

Msn.com posted an article entitled, Liberals introduce changes to Citizenship Acthttp://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/canada/liberals-introduce-changes-to-citizenship-act/ar-BBpYxDC?ocid=spartandhp.

Was this the only website who posted about what Justin Trudeau is in the process of doing?  No.  There are other sites.

If you read it, you will see that Justin Trudeau is in such support of Islam, that he wants to remove any chance of Muslims being considered terrorists.  Even though some are terrorists.  Plus, he wants to destroy having citizenship revoked, even if they are convicted of crime(s) committed.

En.cijnews.com posted an article that I believe everyone needs to read.  It's entitled, Trudeau insistes:  "Islam not incompatible with Western Secular Democracyhttp://en.cijnews.com/?p=27074.

If you read that article, you'll have read this:
'In two separate interviews to CBC during recent months, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau firmly maintained that Islam is compatible with Western open and secular democracy:
(November 24, 2015): “Canadians are quick to point out that ISIS is wrong, that Islam is not incompatible with the Western secular democracy, a free place like Canada.”
(January 31, 2016): “But on the other hand, we need to make sure that we’re working with communities like the Muslim community for example to demonstrate that Islam is not incompatible with free and open Western societies.” '
Do you believe all Muslims are peaceful?

Hopefully, you don't believe that Islam makes Muslims peaceful.  If you do, you may relate well to a woman who agreed with Trudeau and decided to hitchhike through the Middle East.

Kdwn.com posted an article that you absolutely need to read.  It's entitled, Liberal hitchhikes through Middle East to prove Muslims are peaceful. Was raped and murdered insteadhttp://kdwn.com/2016/02/22/liberal-hitchhikes-through-middle-east-to-prove-muslims-are-peaceful-was-raped-and-murdered-instead/.

See!  This article proved that what we've discussed is the truth.  Islam is truly not something we should have here in Canada.

But, Justin Trudeau doesn't agree.  He thinks Muslims deserve more rights here in Canada.

If you agree with me rather than with Justin Trudeau, you may want to check out the next link.

Change.org posted an article entitled, Petition - House of Commons:  Impeach Justin Trudeau, *Bill 59*, *25,000* 'refugees' no security checks, Etc.:  https://www.change.org/p/house-of-commons-impeach-justin-treaudeau-bill-59-25-000-refugees-no-security-checks-etc?recruiter=16950969&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=autopublish&utm_term=mob-xs-share_petition-no_msg.

If you read this, you'll know that the article states, "It's time to get a COMPETENT leader in Canada!!! It's time to get Justin Treaudeau OUT!!!! He is trying to pass Bill 59 which legalizes Sharia Law in Canada, letting 25,000 'refugees' into Canada with minimal or no security checks, endangering EVERY Canadian citizen without thought or care!! Pulling out of the war against Isis and the war on terror. The list goes on and on!!"

In the name of Jesus, I pray that you will sign the petition on that link.  Just as I did.

Here is the comment I made, "I'm signing it because it seems Justin Trudeau only wanted to become elected, so he told Muslims he'd support them, and drug users voted because he said he'd legalize the use of Marijuana.  Knowing that he wants to pass Bill 59, to legalize Sharia Law, will open the door for Canada to die off."

Why did I do this?  Why am I bringing this to your attention?

I'm hoping you will sign the petition.  Please, share it with others.

How come?

Because Justin Trudeau is literally changing our country, to a nation where we may truly suffer.  Our nation that has done all it can in the past to protect us.

Thinking of this, brought to mind Job 12:23, "He increaseth the nations, and destroyeth them: he enlargeth the nations, and straiteneth them again."

Knowing that Justin Trudeau is looking to open the door for Muslims to have more rights, here in Canada, basically means that the rest of us may be hurt.  Especially, if Sharia Law opens.

Please... don't think I hate our newly elected Prime Minister, that I believe was a mistake to be elected.  I don't hate him.

However, I do believe he is not aware or doesn't care about how Islam is hurting people in many countries.

Like our fellow Christians who are being kidnapped, abused, raped, sold into sex slavery, and even murdered.

Why?  Because they are Christian.

As I said, I do not hate Justin Trudeau.  I pray for him.

I pray that God will open his eyes and ears.  And, reveal truth to him.

Hopefully, it is God's will to help protect us, by changing Justin Trudeau's thoughts about what Canada needs.  Or, remove him from his position as Prime Minister.

Please, join me in prayer.

May God bless you.

Hydro & Letter to Justin Trudeau...

It's rare that some subjects are discussed, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).  Even so, it will happen, today.

On Facebook (FB), it seems that people have been posting articles with regards to our Hydro costs that are increasing, here in the province of Ontario, Canada.

I must admit that I was surprised when I saw this posting, and have decided to share it with you.

The posting is by letsfixhydro.ca and is entitled, Letter to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.  Click on this link to read it:  http://www.letsfixhydro.ca/letter-to-prime-minister-.html.

At first, I thought I wouldn't share the actual letter info, but in case you couldn't click on the link, I decided to share it with you.  Here it is:

Office of the Prime Minister
The Right Honourable Justin Trudeau, P.C, M.P.
80 Wellington Street
Ottawa, ON K1A 0A2

Dear Prime Minister:

We are Ontarians, living in fear of Energy Poverty and the Ontario Liberals.

We are Canadians who love our country, and our province.  We are families with homes, and children, young people starting a new life and seniors living in retirement.  Some of us work, and some of us own businesses.  Some of us live in cities, towns and villages, many in rural Ontario.

While we differ in many ways, we are unified in our resolve to elevate this message.

We respectfully ask that you listen to our story, and allow the words the weight and respect they deserve.
We are looking to you, in your new role as Prime Minister to take these concerns into consideration as you head to the Climate Change Conference Summit Talks in Paris in December.

We believe in clean energy and protecting our environment.  We want to leave our children and grandchildren a healthy world to raise their children.  To be clear, we support such initiatives, but not at the cost of losing our homes, jobs and businesses.

The Ontario Liberals have reeked havoc with business and industry and put thousands of families in harms way; many having to choose between Hydro or food.  That last statement in not an embellishment meant to lend credibility to the facts stated; it is the painful unvarnished truth.  Energy poverty is taking root in Ontario and the ramifications are real.

In your letter to Canadians dated November 4th you state;
“I am committed to leading an open, honest government that is accountable to Canadians, lives up to the highest ethical standards, brings our country together, and applies the utmost care and prudence in the handling of public funds.”

Prime Minister, we have watched the Ontario Liberals govern with no respect for ethical standards.  They have successfully pitted rural communities against urban communities and implemented energy initiatives that have cost Ontarians billions of dollars in mistakes the Ontario Liberals confess too.  They have recklessly and without regard for the people of this province or careful consideration and due diligence, entered into contracts with private companies providing Wind and Solar power, that are costing ratepayers much more than they can afford.  The Ontario Liberals have taken away all transparency and oversight in their bid to sell the Crown Corporation Hydro One.  They have disregarded the reports and subsequent suggestions put forward by the Auditor General and the Ontario Ombudsman.  They have stood by and allowed the severely broken business model of Hydro One, abuse ratepayers with smart meters that do not work, incorrect invoices and threatened disconnection if erroneous bills are not paid.

But perhaps the most grievous atrocity of all, is how the Ontario Liberals mislead everyone with their spin on how Ontario is competitive in the cost of electricity and how their clean energy initiatives are an example to other provinces in Canada.

Prime Minister, we respectfully submit that you investigate the true ‘cost’ of  Premier Wynne’s energy file.  Look at the delivery costs of Hydro to rural homes, businesses and farms.  In Low Density communities people pay more for the delivery for Hydro than for the Hydro alone.  When a family’s hydro bill exceeds their mortgage payment, there is something very, very wrong.  When families are put in the position of choosing between providing heat or putting food on the table, it is shameful.  When industry leaves the province citing high electricity costs and the Ontario Chamber of Commerce warns the Ontario Liberals one in 6 businesses will close in the next 5 years it strikes fear into Ontarians.  When hundreds of communities across the province join in writing to the Ontario Liberals they do not support the sale of Hydro One, and they are ignored, not only is something wrong, it is disrespectful.

Clean energy is a good thing, if it is implemented in such a way that it is fiscally prudent and does not create massive debt or punitive charges that will be reflected in Canadians’ energy bills, or drives away industry and business from the province or country.

Ontario is now a have not province.  The future of this province is in jeopardy.  This winter thousands of families will be afraid to turn on their furnaces.  Seniors and those on fixed incomes who are most vulnerable, will be placed in harms way; and the energy credit support programs touted by the Ontario Liberals are not only grossly insufficient, they are cancelled out by the elimination of the Clean Energy Benefit that will no longer be offered come January 1, 2016.

Premier Wynne is providing Toronto with infrastructure, an investment paid for on the backs of rural Ontarians and the escalating delivery costs in their Hydro Bills, while the larger urban centres delivery costs go down.

The Ontario Liberals are not leading in an open and honest way, and with their majority government have not made themselves accountable to Ontarians.  The Ontario Liberals are under several investigations, which calls into question their ethical standards, and their energy file is rife with problems, hidden in secrecy.  Premier Wynne and her Liberal government have shown no respect or prudence in the handling of public funds.

As Canadian citizens and Ontarians we would ask that you engage Premier Wynne  asking her to address those hard questions as you head to the Paris Summit on Climate Change.  Prime Minister, we respectfully ask that you look behind the curtain that is closed to the other political parties at Queen's Park and the people of Ontario.

The questions that beg to be answered are; if the Ontario Liberals clean energy initiatives are so successful and a benefit to our province, then why are thousands of Ontarians being forced into energy poverty, why is industry leaving the province and our country, why are businesses closing and jobs being lost, why did they disregard the reports from the Ombudsman and Auditor General, and why is everything a secret?
It is our hope that the Ontario Liberals follow your mandate in terms of transparency and honesty, and work with the representatives from all parties at Queen's Park and the people of this province, open the energy file for review and fix the problems that are putting the province of Ontario in harms way.

We thank you for your consideration.

Yours sincerely,

The People of Ontario

I realize that you are probably not someone who lives in Ontario.  But, if you are, please send this letter, or a similar one to our newly elected Prime Minister... Justin Trudeau.

Also, please send this to and/or share this LwL link to friends of yours, who live in Ontario.

After all, this is an issue about energy.  Power.

Even though it doesn't really relate to our human need of energy/power, I thought of Romans 13:1-4, "Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth."

The power lines that give us physical energy here in Ontario, will be hurting people, when the cost is increased.  Especially, for those who do not have incomes that increase.

Like those on disability, or injured workers, and more people.

The greatest power we can have, is not regarding energy needed by public.  It is what is in the Bible verses shown today.

Just as we read, let every soul be subject unto the higher powers.  For there is no power but of God:  the powers that be are ordained of God.

He's in control.  Not us.

But, we need to not resist doing what He would have us do.

After all, just as we read, rulers are not a terror to good works, but the evil. Will we then be afraid of the power?  We need to do that which is good, and we shall then have praise of the same:  for he is the minister of God to thee for good.  But, if you do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain:  for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth.

Isn't this so very true!

Yes, we may suffer by what those in our government do, who have control over things.  But, if they do what is evil, they will suffer and receive the wrath of God... at some point in the future.

I would not like our newly elected Prime Minister to receive the wrath of God.

Instead, I'd like to see him become a born-again Christian.

I believe he's not.  But, only God knows for sure.

Why do I feel this way?

Justin Trudeau supports Muslims.  Not Christians.

Yes, I'll pray for him, that God will save him.

Are you saved?

In order to receive salvation, all you have to do is trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved (Acts 16:31).

If you're not saved the moment you die, you will suffer for eternity, in Hell... separated from God, with no chance of escape.

But, if you've come to Christ and become a born-again Christian, then I will some day see you in Heaven, when we spend eternity there, with Him.

Please, come to Christ, today.  Tomorrow may be too late.

Until next time...
