Yes... No... Maybe So!

If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday, you'll know that I discussed Groundhog Day!

Everything took place, on February 2nd, as it does, each year.  After all it was... Groundhog Day.

Well, I suppose I should say that almost everything took place.  You see, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Winnipeg Willow died, so the gathering was cancelled.  This means there was no determination obtained, there.  :(

In Pennsylvania, USA, Punxsutawney Phil didn't see his shadow.  So, in that area, it has been determined they will have an early spring.

The same thing happened in Nova Scotia, Canada.  This is where Shubenacadie Sam also didn't see his shadow.  So, in that area, it was determined that they will also have an early spring.

In the northern part of southern Ontario, Canada, Wiarton Willie saw his shadow.  So, in that area, it was determined they will have six (6) more weeks of winter, before spring begins.

If you'd like to confirm what I've mentioned, please click on the link that ctvnews.ca posted.  It's entitled, Groundhog Day:  Shubenacadie Sam predicts early spring, Wiarton Willie disagreeshttp://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/shubenacadie-sam-predicts-early-spring-wiarton-willie-says-more-winter-ahead-1.2761088.

How will this affect the area where I live?

I have no idea.  Only God knows.

After all, He alone knows the plans He has for us.

You see, I live in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.  This is a city in the southern most part of Canada.

In fact, we in Windsor, are south of Detroit, Michigan, USA.  lol :)

Even though Wiarton Willie determined there would be more winter happening, instead of an early spring, it may not apply to where I live.

You see, my city is located along the same area of the northern part of Pennsylvania and/or the southern part of New York state in USA

So, it's hard to say which groundhog would actually determine what is happening for us in my city!  Especially, since we've had a very different winter than most of the rest of our Ontario province.

Here, we experience winters differently.  Some years, we receive a lot of snow.  Other years, we do not.

Like this year.

You see, this year, being an El Nino year, we have only had minimal snow less than a handful of times.  We have green grass, even now!

Yet, a relative of mine, who lives in Arizona, USA, told me that being an El Nino year, their weather has been awful.

So, this sort of means that we are not all receiving the same things, regarding weather.  This seems to be dependent upon the location of where we live.

Knowing this, I believe we should not think and/or worry about what will happen in the near future.

Thinking of this, brought to mind, Matthew 6:34, "Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."

We need to take therefore no thought for tomorrow, for tomorrow shall take thought for the things of itself.  And, just as we read, sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Yes, we need to just focus on the day we are experiencing and living in.

Tomorrow will come.  And, so will good and evil things in this world.

But, when tomorrow comes, we will again deal with the day, as it then becomes... today.

Whatever happens, our weather and season of winter or spring, will happen no matter what.  We'll need to just deal with it, as we should.

Knowing we don't have to worry, I am thankful to God.  And, always will be.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
