See You!

As I've said in the past here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), a form of worship I enjoy, is music.

The music I'll be sharing with you today, is by Michael W. Smith and is entitled, Open The Eyes of My Heart.  Here's a link for you to listen to and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wutmEjdbedE.  The lyrics are below.

Open The Eyes Of My Heart

Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see You
I want to see You

Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see You
I want to see You

Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see You
I want to see You

Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see You
I want to see You

To see You high and lifted up
Shining in the light of Your glory
Lord, pour out Your power and love
As we sing holy, holy, holy

Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see You
I want to see You

Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see You
I want to see You

To see You high and lifted up
Shining in the light of Your glory
Lord, pour out Your power and love
As we sing holy, holy, holy

High and lifted up
Shining in the light of Your glory
Lord, pour out Your power and love
As we sing holy, holy, holy

High and lifted up
Shining in the light of Your glory
Pour out Your power and love
As we sing holy, holy, holy

Holy, holy, holy
You are holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
I want to see you

Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
I want to see you

Holy, holy, holy
You are holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
I want to see you

Lord... I want to see You.  Always!

And, glorify You!

Thinking of this, reminded me of what happened in Exodus 24:17, "And the sight of the glory of the Lord was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel."

Yes, the sight of the glory of the Lord, was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.

This happened when Moses climbed the mountain, and was receiving the ten commandments, from God.

By looking up, the children of Israel were able to see the light of the fire up there.  It was amazing that they could see this.  But, they did... see it.

This reminded me of how we need to look up.  Always.  To God.

He needs to come first in our lives.

He's first in mine.  Is He first in yours?

Hopefully, so.  For then, you will truly be blessed, my friend.

Until next time...
