After I dropped off my older sister in the Lord, I dropped off, A. And, saw her mom, my daughter, B for a short time.
Then, I made my way over to where my daughter, P lives.
I didn't just go there to wish more of my family... Happy Valentine's Day. It was also, K's birthday!
Happy Birthday, K!
As you can see, K blew out some candles on his birthday cake. Not as many as should have been there, but certainly we had a laugh deciding how many to place on his cake that my daughter, P made!
Getting together, to celebrate K's birthday was a very fun time. Even though his special day was the same as Valentine's Day.
In a way, it made me glad to be able to celebrate K's birthday on that special day.
Showing love for a family member by celebrating that person, rather than the day that everyone seems to want to celebrate, touched my heart. In a good way.
Thinking of this, brought to mind, Hebrews 10:24, "And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:"
Yes, we need to consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works.
Just as we do, when we celebrate a birthday of a family member. Like we did, K's.
It not only helped me. I believe it also helped, K.
For in the past, he had told me about how some people had actually forgotten to even think about him and the anniversary of his birth. I could understand what he meant, for I have a friend who was born on Christmas Day, and sort of experienced the same thing.
But, isn't God good?!
I don't mean only that He helped me. As I said earlier, He also helped, K!
As a group, we enjoyed spending time, together.
For this, I will always be grateful.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...
