Go!

Like normal, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be going to meet with my church family, to worship.

Worship is so very important.

As I've said in the past, I worship with my church family... in spirit, in truth and with music.

I thought of a hymn I adore, that was written by Fanny Crosby and W. Howard Doane.  It's entitled, Rescue the Perishing.  Here is a link for you to listen to it and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_e4RXHF6Yk.  The lyrics are below.

Rescue the Perishing

Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,
Snatch them in pity from sin and the grave;
Weep o’er the erring one, lift up the fallen,
Tell them of Jesus, the mighty to save.

Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,
Jesus is merciful, Jesus will save.

Though they are slighting Him, still He is waiting,
Waiting the penitent child to receive;
Plead with them earnestly, plead with them gently;
He will forgive if they only believe.

Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,
Jesus is merciful, Jesus will save.

Down in the human heart, crushed by the tempter,
Feelings lie buried that grace can restore;
Touched by a loving heart, wakened by kindness,
Chords that were broken will vibrate once more.

Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,
Jesus is merciful, Jesus will save.

Rescue the perishing, duty demands it;
Strength for thy labor the Lord will provide;
Back to the narrow way patiently win them;
Tell the poor wand’rer a Savior has died.

Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,
Jesus is merciful, Jesus will save.

Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,
Jesus is merciful, Jesus will save
.

Caring for others is very important.  We need to help those who are suffering, and/or dying.

Rescue the perishing, is so very important.

We must do what our Lord wants us to do.

Just as our Lord, Jesus Christ told us, in Mark 16:15, "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."

Yes, we need to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.  Just as Jesus told us to do.

Do you do this?

Hopefully, you do.  For if you do, you're not just being obedient, you're also helping those who have not yet gained salvation, realize they need it.  Just as we all do.

Anyone can gain salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.  Those who do, shall be saved.

If you're saved, and are truly committed to our Lord, I'm sure you'll be obedient and do what He's asked of you.

It's truly not hard.  It's simple.

During conversations, preach the gospel.  Also, you can speak/preach/teach/write on the internet or in a book.

Just do whatever you can.

My friend, if you do this, you'll be blessed.

Until next time...
