Once again, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll mention that today is SONday!
It's our Lord's Day!
A day, when we must worship God!
As I've said in the past, I love to worship Him. Also, through music.
Hillsong recorded a hymn entitled, Soon. Here is a link for you to listen to and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YI8G5ToRXKU. The lyrics are below.
Soon
Soon and very soon
My King is coming
Robed in righteousness and crowned with love
When I see Him
I shall be made like Him
Soon and very soon
Soon and very soon
I’ll be going
To the place He has prepared for me
There my sin erased
My shame forgotten
Soon and very soon
I will be with the One I love
With unveiled face I’ll see Him
There my soul will be satisfied
Soon and very soon
Soon and very soon
See the procession
The angels and the elders 'round the throne
At His feet I’ll lay my crowns My worship
Soon and very soon
I will be with the One I love
With unveiled face I’ll see Him
There my soul will be satisfied
Soon and very soon
Though I have not seen Him
My heart knows Him well
Jesus Christ the Lamb
The Lord of heaven
I will be with the One I love
With unveiled face I’ll see Him
There my soul will be satisfied
Soon and very soon
Soon and very soon
Soon and very soon
Yes, I will be with the One I love. Soon. Very, soon.
When? I have no idea.
I know that every day, I grow older. Eventually, my life will end.
Then, I'll see my Lord, Jesus Christ. And, I'll be with Him.
Thinking of this brought to mind Matthew 24:42, "Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come."
Yes, it won't be long. But, I don't know when.
Of course, even if my life doesn't end soon, the rapture could happen. And, it could happen, soon.
Then, we would see and be with our Lord. But, only those who have gained salvation, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ!
Knowing that life is short, compared to eternity... it will happen... soon. Very soon.
Are you ready?
Hopefully, so. If you are, I'll look forward to you being with me and our Lord!
Until next time...

Beware!
Like you've seen me do before, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be letting you know about some movies I've watched.
Here's some for you to check out:
* Twelve O'Clock High, starring Gregory Peck, Hugh Marlowe, and more actors. To check out this WW2 war film, click here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twelve_O%27Clock_High. This movie I found to be interesting and would watch it, again.
* American Gigolo, starring Richard Gere, Lauren Hutton, and more actors. Check out this crime drama film, here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Gigolo. Even though this movie was based on sin, I must say it touched my heart. Especially, at the ending.
* Air America, starring Mel Gibson, Robert Downey Jr., and more actors. If you click here, you can check out this American action comedy film: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_America_(film). Even though this film is supposed to be a comedy film, I found it to be more of an action film.
* Days of Heaven, starring Richard Gere, Brooke Adams, Sam Shepard, and Linda Manz. To check out this drama film, click here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Days_of_Heaven. This movie broke my heart in many ways. Especially, since it gives people the idea that it may be Christian film, since it is called 'Days of Heaven', when it is truly not.
* Island in the Sky, starring John Wayne, Lloyd Nolan, James Arness, and other actors. Click here to check out this aviation adventure drama film: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Island_in_the_Sky_(1953_film). As you're probably aware, I enjoy WW2 war films. Yes, I enjoyed this one, especially since it involved Canada!
Even though I enjoyed watching these movies, I must say that they all sort of made me feel that life isn't really perfect.
Of course it's not. Especially, since God told us no one is perfect. Nor, are our lives.
It seems that most people want their lives better than what they are.
Thinking of this, made me think of Luke 12:15, "And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth."
Just as God told us in today's Bible verse, we need to take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consists not in the abundance of the things he possesses.
Whatever our lives are like and are in actuality, is how they are. They are not better than what reality is.
In my mind, the only thing that can make our lives better, is to think of where we will live, once we've left this world.
Yes, even though our lives end, when our body dies here on earth, we continue to live. And, will live either in Heaven or in Hell.
To me, Hell is not a good place to live. After all, anyone who goes there, will stay there forever, separated from God... with no chance of escape. Meaning, they can never leave there, to go to Heaven.
I'm grateful that God provided a way for us to end up in Heaven with Him. Thank You, Lord!
How does this happen?
Our Lord, Jesus Christ came to earth, and fulfilled God the Father's plan of redemption for us.
Now, all you have to do, is trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ and you shall be saved (Acts 16:31).
By doing this, you gain salvation. By being saved, you gain everlasting life and will spend eternity, in Heaven, with Him.
My friend, I hope to see you, there.
Until next time...

Woe!
If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) over the past couple of days, you'll know that persecution of Christians, was discussed.
As you may recall, I believe that Christians who want to teach their children God's truth, may possibly be persecuted, sooner than what some people think.
Today, will be a day of showing you what's happening.
Not what's happening around the world.
About what's happened in USA. Persecution.
Theblaze.com posted an article entitled, Christian Farmer Who Was Fined $13,000 for Refusing to Host a Gay Wedding Says 'Frightening' Government Ultimatum Should 'Scare' Us All: http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2016/01/19/christian-farmer-who-was-fined-13000-for-refusing-to-host-a-gay-wedding-says-frightening-government-ultimatum-should-scare-us-all/.
If you read this article, you'll know it said, "Cynthia Gifford, who owns Liberty Ridge Farm, a farm and special events venue in Schaghticoke, New York, along with her husband, Robert, told The Church Boys podcast on Friday that she is a Christian who simply wishes to live by biblical values."
What was said, touched my heart. For this showed me that the owners are truly Christians.
Something else was said that I thought was important, "“We can’t be free to conduct our business within our beliefs,” Gifford said, noting that the government is interfering with her family’s freedom. “My story as an American farmer is the story of every American’s freedom to live and work consistently with their faith and without the fear of unjust government interference or punishment.”"
Is this type of thing only happening in USA? No.
It's happened here in Canada.
And, because our government has allowed sin to take place in a legal aspect, our children and grandchildren and others, will not necessarily learn that some things are sinful. Like same-sex marriage.
Why do I think this?
Nowtheendbegins.com posted an article entitled, Homeschooling Families In Canada Can No Longer Teach Homosexuality A Sin: http://www.nowtheendbegins.com/homeschooling-families-in-canada-can-no-longer-teach-homosexuality-a-sin/.
Hopefully, you read that article. If you did, you'll know what was said, including this:
"“Whatever the nature of schooling – homeschool, private school, Catholic school – we do not tolerate disrespect for differences,” Donna McColl, Lukaszuk’s assistant director of communications, told LifeSiteNews on Wednesday evening.
Imagine... that you as a Christian has taught your child, that Homosexuality IS sinful, just as God told us in His Word, the Bible. Yet, you need to teach your children during their time of education, that Homosexuality is NOT a sin.
How awful is this?
To me, this is terrible.
Not only does this mean that homeschooling parents need to do this, but children who are not educated at home, but who are educated in school classrooms are being taught this.
Classroom teaching isn't always known by parents. Although some parents know.
Some agree and some do not. But, there is no choice. Parents need to accept what the government allows in education.
When my children were young in school, they were taught things. I recall how when I corrected one of my daughters who thought she was taught that 3 + 3 = 7, she got upset, when I explained that the answer wasn't 7... it was 6.
She told me that her teacher taught her this, and the teacher wouldn't lie. She also told me I just didn't know the truth. Even though I did.
So, I wonder how many children will listen to parents, and not agree with them, regarding this issue.
After all, not every parent reads God's Word, the Bible. And, some do, and worship at church and learn God's truth.
How many will believe... what is true/good, and evil/bad?
Thinking of this, brought to mind Isaiah 5:20, "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!"
Just as God told us, woe unto them that call evil good... and good evil... that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.
Woe unto them, who are teaching against God's Word, the Bible... who are teaching that God's Word, is not acceptable or good, virtually teaching that it is evil. And, who are teaching that sin... is good, when it is not acceptable to God.
Just as our government has allowed people to do, in this era.
Please pray, my friend.
After all, we not only have unbelievers participating that way. But, we also have some people who supposedly do work for God, when they truly aren't.
Like ministers, who work for 'church groups' who are not taking God's Word, the Bible, in truth... and are teaching people that homosexuality and same-sex marriage is not sinful... even though it IS.
Although I forgive them, they need more than that.
May God have mercy upon them.
So, when I pray, I not only pray for unbelievers, but I also pray for those who are leading people astray.
Hopefully, you will join me in prayer concerning this issue of God's truth. If you do, I know God will bless you.
Until next time...

At Risk...
If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday, you'll know that Christians are being persecuted. In various countries. In fact, in my opinion, in most countries.
The type of persecution is different, depending upon how many Muslims also live in that country, in my opinion.
Raymondibrahim.com posted an article entitled, Pakistan: "Christian Girls Are Only Meant for the Pleasure of Muslim Men: http://www.raymondibrahim.com/2016/01/25/pakistan-christian-girls-are-only-meant-for-the-pleasure-of-muslim-men/.
Would you like to live in Pakistan?
Would you like to know that you and your family are at risk? At risk of persecution?
I know I wouldn't.
Would you like to have your daughter abused?
How about raped?
Sold into sex slavery?
And, eventually... murdered?
I wouldn't want that to happen to my family members.
Nor, would I want it to happen anywhere. Not just in my country, but I wouldn't want to see this happen anywhere in the world.
But, it is.
And, it's being done by Muslims. Just as hopefully, you read in that article posted above, regarding Christian Girls in Pakistan.
Unfortunately, some people don't believe Muslims do this.
Well, my friend, those people need to open their eyes and ears. They need to accept what is happening, instead of closing themselves from hearing and/or seeing anything proving the truth.
Some people don't believe that we Christians suffer persecution.
At this time, not every Christian does. But, at some point in the future, we all will suffer persecution.
Just as God told us, in 2 Timothy 3:12, "Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution."
ALL that will live godly in Christ Jesus SHALL suffer persecution.
That tells us that we all WILL suffer persecution.
Some do in minor ways. Some in major ways.
Just like our brothers and sisters are experiencing in various places around the world.
What can we do?
We can speak up.
We can speak out.
We can speak truth, and try to have people understand that those who will persecute Christians in our country, are arriving.
We can try and prevent it from happening, now.
But, the truth is, Christians everywhere will suffer persecution.
Get yourself ready. And, pray.
Does this mean that no one should become Christian?
Absolutely, not. We ALL need to become Christian.
Why?
Because that is the only way we will obtain everlasting life. That is the only way we will spend eternity in Heaven with God.
If we don't trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ to gain salvation, we will spend eternity in Hell, separated from God, with no chance of escape.
God already knows who will gain salvation. We don't.
The choice, is yours.
Until next time...

Desperate Need!
The day before I obtained the message I shared with you last week, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I had received another message from the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ).
On January 15th, 2016 here is the message I received from ACLJ (again, I copied and pasted it):
Lynn,
Last year was the worst year for Christian persecution on record.
A new horrifying report details the unimaginable extent of Christian persecution. It confirms that at least 7,000 Christians were slaughtered last year alone.
Even worse, in the last several years between 1 and 1.8 million Christians have been forced to flee or die in Iraq and Syria. In Iraq, less than 20% of its Christian population remains.
ISIS - the Islamic State - is waging a genocide against our brothers and sisters in Christ like the world has never seen.
It's our duty to defend them.
As Christians are being massacred, the Obama Administration refuses to grant them key international legal protections - denying the genocide as they are driven from their homes to die. We're fighting back.
We've filed critical legal briefs in international courts and are aggressively working in Congress to provide Christians vital legal protections.
Christians struggling to survive desperately need your voice.
Sign Our Petition: Recognize the Genocide; Protect Christians.
Jay Sekulow
ACLJ Chief Counsel
I realize that not everyone believes we need to speak up. But, I do.
I believe we need to, because God has shown us in so many parts of the Bible that we need to love others, as ourselves.
Thinking of this, made me think of Proverbs 31: 9, "Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy."
Yes, I realize it was not our Lord, Jesus Christ who said this. However, God has provided words from other people, that will help us to know what to do... for others. And, for Him.
We definitely need to open our mouths, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.
Yes, here in Canada, we have many who are poor and needy. Just as countries all over the world have.
However, we have brothers and sisters in Christ, who are not just being persecuted for their faith. They are being starved, abused, raped, sold into sex-slavery and even murdered... mainly by Muslims, in the Middle East.
My friend, please do what you can.
Do whatever you can to help those in need.
And, pray.
May God bless you...
Until next time...

Hallelujah!
If you read yesterday's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, you'll know that my family is having a problem.
It's a serious problem that I cannot explain to you.
However, something happened yesterday that I am grateful for. I wish I could tell you what happened, but I can't.
But, I will say... Praise God! Hallelujah! Thank You, Jesus! Thank You, for answering my prayer and the prayer of others for my family, in a positive way!
No, the problem has not totally ended. And, may not for a while, yet.
If you're a friend of my daughter's on Facebook (FB), you're probably aware of what is happening. If you're not, just know that prayer is still needed, even though something positive happened, yesterday.
Prayer... is so very important.
Yes, God told us in His word to never cease praying. But, He also told us various ways of how we should pray.
Just like He did a bit, in Matthew 6:7, "But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking."
I do not use vain repetitions, as the heathen do. They think they shall be heard for their much speaking.
I do not use memorized prayer that people and/or church groups have created.
Why? Because God told us not to pray using repetitions.
So, how do I pray?
I pray as if I'm speaking with Him.
I follow what He suggested we do when He told us about the Lord's prayer.
I honour Him.
I praise Him.
I make my prayer request.
I thank Him. And, quote scripture, whenever I can.
Then, I close my prayer as He told us we should... by, praying in the name of Jesus. Amen.
How did I find this out?

My friend, if you are not reading the Bible, please do so. For God will provide all you need.
Thank you, for praying for my family's need. May God bless you for your continued prayer.

By reading His Word, the Bible. And, studying it.
My friend, if you are not reading the Bible, please do so. For God will provide all you need.
Thank you, for praying for my family's need. May God bless you for your continued prayer.
Until next time...

Back To...
You probably have guessed what I'll discuss here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), today. But, you may not be sure about how I will address it.
Yes, I went to worship with my church family, yesterday.
Like normal, it was a wonderful time to be with brothers and sisters in the Lord. Especially, since we worship, together.
Looking around, an issue addressed my heart.
Almost everyone in attendance had family members with them. A few people didn't. Well, maybe even only a couple. Other than me.
Things have changed so much, over the years.
There was a time when all my family members went to worship, together. But, that was many years ago.
After my children grew up, they began to no longer attend worship, with me. Although, they did attend other places of worship, at that time.
Back then, I wasn't alone.
My now deceased husband Gordon, and I worshipped together, with church family. But, he's been gone over six (6) years, now.
Only just before Christmas, when my granddaughter A had been attending Sunday school, was a time when her mom, my daughter B and her sons (my grandsons) actually came to worship. Just a couple of times.
Having this happen, made me so very happy. Plus, my heart felt that God was providing. And, I know He was.
Now, everything is back to normal. Just as it was, before my granddaughter, A came to worship.
However, I feel badly that none of my family, is worshipping with me. Not even my granddaughter, A.
Even though she loved being there. And, those who taught her, adored her being there.
I must admit, I felt sad.
Even so, I looked to our Lord. And, reminded myself I need not be afraid, even though this is a time of trouble.
Thinking of this, reminded me of John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
Just as our Lord told us in today's Bible verse, we need not let our heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. Peace, is what He gives us.
Always.
In case you'd like to know, the truth is, this is NOT a case of my granddaughter, A not wanting to be at Sunday school. Nor, has it happened due to her mom, my daughter, B... or any of her brothers preventing her from joining me for Sunday school.
It's happened, due to a problem being caused by someone else.
What happened, I cannot explain.
But, I will ask that you join me in prayer, that God will heal the problem, and restore everything in life, back to the way it was.
Thank you, my friend. May God bless you.
Until next time...

Paid!
Like other SONdays, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), today is our Lord's Day!
It's a day, when we need to worship!
Thinking of some music that is touching to my heart, brought to mind a song written by Elvina M. Hall and is entitled, Jesus Paid It All. Here is a link, sung by Don Moen, for you to listen to and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Me0eLOedntg. The lyrics are below.
Jesus Paid It All
I hear the Saviour say:
"Thy strength indeed is small
Child of weakness, watch and pray
Find in Me thine all in all
Lord, now indeed I find
Thy power and thine alone
Came and changed the leper's spots
And it melt the heart of stone
Jesus paid it all
All to him I owe
Sin had left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow
For nothing could have I
Where by thy grace to claim
I'll wash my garments white
In the blood of Calvary's Lamb
And when before the throne
I stand in Him complete
Jesus died my soul to save
My lips shall still repeat
Oh, Jesus paid it all
All to him I owe
Sin had left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow
Oh, Jesus paid it all
All to him I owe
Sin had left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow
Jesus paid it all
Yes, Jesus paid it all. All to Him, I owe.
Especially, since He washed me from my sin.
Just as we read, in Revelation 1:5-6, "And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen."
Yes, to Him be glory and dominion, forever and ever. Amen!
Why?
Well, Jesus came to earth, to fulfill God our Father's plan of redemption for us. If Jesus hadn't come to earth, we would not have a way of having everlasting life.
But, He did.
For this, I am grateful. And, always will be.
By doing this, He opened the door for every person to accept Him as our Lord, and Saviour... and gain salvation.
Yes, we become saved by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ (Acts 16:31). And, will spend eternity with God in Heaven.
Thank You, Lord! Hallelujah!
Until next time...

Focus...
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be sharing with you some info on what I like to do. Just as I've done, before.
I like to watch movies!
While movies are on regular television (TV) stations, I also like to watch Movies! TV Network: http://moviestvnetwork.com/ and ThisTV: http://detroit.thistv.com/ .
Both of those movie channels offer great films to watch!
Here are a few I've recently seen:
* Code of Silence, starring Chuck Norris, Henry Silva and Bert Remsen. Check out this American action film, by clicking on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Code_of_Silence_(film). To me, it was okay, but not fabulous.
* Nickelodeon, starring Ryan O'Neal, Burt Reynolds, Tatum O'Neal, John Ritter, and more actors. Check out this comedy film, here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nickelodeon_(film). Even though this was a comedy film, I didn't really laugh. But, it was okay to watch.
* Shamus, starring Burt Reynolds, Dyan Cannon, John Ryan and more actors. Want to check out this film? Click, here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shamus_(film). This detective film was okay to watch.
* That Touch of Mink, starring Doris Day and Cary Grant. Check out this romantic comedy film, here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/That_Touch_of_Mink. I've actually watched this movie more than once; I enjoy it!
Just as these movies show everyone, life isn't always easy.
Those that love death, or love life, will experience what they focus on.
Just like we read, in Proverbs 18:21, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."
In my opinion, we need to focus on our Lord, always.
Does it matter if our life is easy at the time?
How about if our life is hard?
It doesn't really matter, if our life is easy or hard, in my mind.
If things are easy, then we need to thank God for helping us. If things are not easy, and our life is hard at the time, then we need to look to Him, to help us. And, provide for us.
Just as He always does.
Well, as long as we are His children.
Are you His child?
Are you trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ?
If so, you are one of His children. You are saved. You have salvation.
If this is the case, He'll always be there for you. And, you can pray.
When you pray, He'll answer your prayer requests and will give you the desire of your heart, when you pray in Jesus' name. Amen!
Until next time...

Heart... Beat... Again...
From time to time, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) I mention things that touch my heart. That's what I'm doing, today.
On Facebook (FB), someone I know and love posted a song that truly touched my heart. She had shared it with another person I know and love, in an effort to lift her up and encourage her.
Thank you, my dear... May God bless you...
The song is sung by Danny Gokey and is entitled, Tell Your Heart To Beat Again. Here is the link for you to listen and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azYK8I2uoog&feature=youtu.be. The lyrics are below.
Tell Your Heart To Beat Again
Shattered
Like you've never been before
The life you knew
In a thousand pieces on the floor
And words fall short in times like these
When this world drives you to your knees
You think you're never gonna get back
To the you that used to be
Tell your heart to beat again
Close your eyes and breathe it in
Let the shadows fall away
Step into the light of grace
Yesterday's a closing door
You don't live there anymore
Say goodbye to where you've been
And tell your heart to beat again
Beginning
Just let that word wash over you
It's alright now
Love's healing hands have pulled you through
So get back up, take step one
Leave the darkness, feel the sun
Cause your story's far from over
And your journey's just begun
Tell your heart to beat again
Close your eyes and breathe it in
Let the shadows fall away
Step into the light of grace
Yesterday's a closing door
You don't live there anymore
Say goodbye to where you've been
And tell your heart to beat again
Let every heartbreak
And every scar
Be a picture that reminds you
Who has carried you this far
'Cause love seems further than you ever could
In this moment heaven's working
Everything for your good
Tell your heart to beat again
Close your eyes and breathe it in
Let the shadows fall away
Step into the light of grace
Yesterday's a closing door
You don't live there anymore
Say goodbye to where you've been
And tell your heart to beat again
Your heart to beat again
Beat again
Oh, so tell your heart to beat again
These lyrics truly touched my heart.
Not just because they are encouragement, for a person to move on... after being hurt. After having life hurt so badly that it feels like it's fallen apart.
But, also because it tells us to not just have our heart beat again, but to 'step into the light of grace'.
Grace... is so very important. And, it is given to us, by God.
Yes, we are saved by grace (alone), through faith (alone), in Christ (alone). Yes, it is a gift from God.
However, for those of us who are already saved by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, we do not always have perfect lives. There are times when we suffer, going through trials in life.
It is then, when we must look to God for grace.
Just as we read, in Hebrews 4:16, "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."
Yes, you who are suffering, come boldly unto the throne of grace, that you may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Look to our Lord!
Again, I will ask for prayer for the person suffering. She, whose life has fallen apart, due to suffering tragedy. And, needs to obtain mercy and grace.
Thank you, my friend, for praying for the person suffering. May God answer your prayer.
May God bless you...
Until next time...

Pastor Saeed Abedini RELEASED!
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) today, I have something to say. It is something that is so wonderful that I'd like to scream out loud!
PASTOR SAEED ABEDINI WAS RELEASED FROM BEING IMPRISONED BY MUSLIMS!
In addition, some other imprisoned Americans were also released!
On January 16th, 2016, I received an e-mail from the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ). Here's what it said (I copied and pasted the message):
American Pastor Saeed Abedini has just been released!
We can confirm that after more than three long years in an Iranian prison, Pastor Saeed - a U.S. citizen - was freed earlier this morning. In addition, several other imprisoned Americans were also reportedly released.
We're delighted this day has finally arrived. We're grateful for the millions of people who have stood with us in our ongoing efforts - both in this country and abroad - to secure his release.
We have worked and prayed that this day would finally arrive. And now, Pastor Saeed can return home.
Pastor Saeed's wife Naghmeh said, "This has been an answer to prayer. This is a critical time for me and my family. We look forward to Saeed's return and want to thank the millions of people who have stood with us in prayer during this most difficult time."
We will continue to bring you updates as we are able. Please continue to pray for Pastor Saeed and his family.

Receiving this message touched my heart so much, I truly just wanted to scream!
While I didn't scream, I did cry out to God!
Thank You, Lord!
Was this surprising to me that Pastor Saeed and others were released?
Yes. And, no.
You see, I had been praying for the release of Pastor Saeed, and for the release of others imprisoned by Muslims. Because I had been praying, I believed it would be done. But, I didn't know when.
So, yes... it was surprising, because I didn't know when it would happen. And, no... I truly wasn't surprised, for I knew it would happen.
Why would I think this?
Because, Jesus told us so, in John 15:7, "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you."
While we do not know when prayer requests will be answered, those who truly trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ receive much.
Please understand... yes, when we trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, we become saved and gain eternal life (Acts 16:31).
But, we also receive answered prayer!
Just as we did by praying for the release of Pastor Saeed, and others.
For this, I will always be thankful!
Praise God! Hallelujah!
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...

Seminar... and more!
There is something I hadn't discussed here on Life with Lynnie (LwL). It has to do with something that happened last Saturday, January 16th, 2016.
At 10:00 a.m., I met with my friend, C. Well, to be honest, I arrived at my church building, just a few minutes before she did.
Like in the past, we sat beside each other for a seminar. This time, it was regarding Hermeneutics (interpretation of the Bible).
The last two (2) seminars we attended together were led by brother, W... who was in the past, a university professor here in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, plus a pastor in Indonesia (after converting to Christianity from Islam), many years ago. This time, our pastor Tom Perry, was our teacher/preacher!
My friend, C and I enjoy the seminar. And, it seemed everyone else in attendance did, also!
Of course, learning more and more, about God's Word, the Bible, is helpful, also!
A Bible verse was quoted on our paperwork, at the beginning of the seminar.
It was, 2 Timothy 2:15, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
Yes, just as it says, we need to study to show ourselves approved unto God, someone that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. God's truth.
When I saw this verse, I let my friend, C know that my now deceased husband Gordon, had written that same verse on the inside cover of a small Bible he gave me as a gift. It's what I carry with me to worship and/or learn.
It touched my heart.
After our seminar was over, we enjoyed time together. Not just visiting.
Our group of believers enjoyed lunch! It was supplied by our church family, to everyone who attended.
We were thankful.
Thankful for the knowledge we gained.
Thankful for the time spent together.
Thankful for the food and fun time we enjoyed.
Thank You, Lord... for providing for us, in so many ways.
Until next time...

Love...
In yesterday's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, I asked that you pray for my family.
If you prayed, I'm glad you did. May God bless you for your prayer. For my family truly needs it.
After our worship service on Sunday, we had a gathering like we usually have once a month. A pot-luck luncheon!
I must admit, it was a delicious meal to me. And, to others who sat with me! :)
Near the end of my church family luncheon time, my granddaughter A's Sunday school teacher, L approached me.
Several times over the past few weeks, she asked me why my granddaughter, A wasn't with me. Each time, I had to let her know that I couldn't explain. Every time, she accepted my response.
However, about a week ago, L let me know that she had a gift. A gift, that she hadn't been able to give to my granddaughter, A... due to her not being at Sunday school.
Near the end of our church family luncheon, L handed me the gift for A.
This almost made me cry.
It brought tears to my eyes, then. And, again while I wrote this LwL entry. In fact, it made me cry.
Not just because I was sad that my granddaughter, A wasn't with me.
It made my heart feel good... knowing that A, has been loved. Loved, by my church family, in many ways.
Love, is so very important.
Just as we read, in Mark 12:30-31, "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these."
Yes, we need to love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all they soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength.
We also need to do what was told of us to do, as another commandment. We need to love thy neighbour as thyself.
Just as my church family has done to me. And, to my granddaughter, A.
How grateful I am that God brought us together, as a church family.
How grateful I am that God has shown me love, by doing that.
How grateful I am that there is actually love given to my church family by me, and by my granddaughter, A. And, received from them, also.
For this, I am truly happy and thankful. And, always will be.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...

Please... Pray...
If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday, you'll know that I went to worship with my church family.
Alone.
Not with my granddaughter, A.
I cannot tell you why that is. But, I can say that I'm not being refused by my family to take A, with me.
However, I am asking you to pray for my family. Especially, for my daughter B, A's mom... and for A... and her brothers.
As I'm sure you've figured out, something is happening, that isn't right. It's nothing that my daughter B has control of.
In fact, the only person who truly has control... is God.
He doesn't expect me to fear, or worry. Nor any of my family members, either.
For, God told us to not think about what will happen.
Just as we read, in Matthew 6:34, "Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."
Yes, we need to not worry about anything concerning the future. For ourselves, or for our family.
After all, God told us in today's Bible verse, that sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Amen!
There has been enough evilness that has happened. In fact, I'll have to be honest and say... even more than enough evilness.
But, neither my family, nor I have been able to correct any of which has happened... in this fiery trial of life.
I'm praying and asking in the name of Jesus, that God will keep a hedge of protection around my family. In the name of Jesus, I am and have been praying and asking that You will protect them and keep them safe, Lord.
Thank You, Lord.
And, I'm asking you to do the same, my friend.
For your prayer, I thank you. May God bless you.
Until next time...

Nothing But...
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), do you know what I plan to do, today?
Hopefully, you realize that I will go to meet up with my church family. Together, we will worship in spirit and in truth. And, through music.
Thinking about music, I thought of a hymn that I adore.
It's by Robert Lowry and is entitled, Nothing but the Blood of Jesus. Here's a link for you to listen and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYjhGeAIG6k. The lyrics are below.
Nothing but the Blood of Jesus
What can wash away my sin?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
For my pardon, this I see,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
For my cleansing this my plea,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
(This verse and refrain was not recorded:
Nothing can for sin atone,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
Naught of good that I have done,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
This is all my hope and peace,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
This is all my righteousness,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
(These verses and refrain were not recorded:
Now by this I’ll overcome—
Nothing but the blood of Jesus,
Now by this I’ll reach my home—
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Glory! Glory! This I sing—
Nothing but the blood of Jesus,
All my praise for this I bring—
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Refrain)
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin."
How does Jesus' blood cleanse us from all sin?
His blood covers us, so God doesn't see our sin. We become white as snow.
How does this happen?
All because we trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ. And, by doing this, we gain salvation.
That's it. Simple. Not hard.
If you have not yet come to Christ, do it today, my friend. Tomorrow may be too late.
Until next time...

Even though all the verses weren't recorded, and aren't always sung during recordings anymore, I print them, when I can. This way, you can see how they were originally written.
Of course, this hymn touches my heart.
Why?
Because it comes across with the lyrics/wording that truly tells us that what we need is nothing... but, the blood of Jesus.
After all, the blood of Jesus cleanses us from sin.
Just as we read, in 1 John 1:5-7, "This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin."
How does Jesus' blood cleanse us from all sin?
His blood covers us, so God doesn't see our sin. We become white as snow.

Children...
Here I go again, on Life with Lynnie (LwL) I'm letting you know what movies I've recently watched!
Movies are special to me. I'm sure you realize.
Here's what I've watched:
* Things Change, starring Don Ameche, Joe Mantegna, and Robert Prosky. To check out this comedy drama film, click here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Things_Change. This was quite a movie to me, even though I didn't find it funny. Some people may have laughed, but I didn't... due to sin. Even so, I enjoyed this film.
* Walking Tall, starring Joe Don Baker and Elizabeth Hartman. Check out this semi-biopic film, here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walking_Tall_(1973_film). While some of this film was interesting, it was so filled with... murder, anger, and unforgiveness.
* The Natural, starring Robert Redford, Robert Duvall, Glenn Close and many other actors. Click here, to check out this sports drama film: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Natural_(film). Even though sports is part of this film, it truly is a movie that can touch your heart.
* The Hot Rock, starring Robert Redford, George Segal, Rob Leibman and more actors. If you want to check out this comedy-drama caper film, click here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hot_Rock_(film). Truly, even though this is supposed to be comedy, the drama seems to be stronger.
* Nothing in Common, starring Tom Hanks, Jackie Gleason, Eva Marie Saint and other actors. Click on this link, to check out this comedy-drama film: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nothing_in_Common. Even though this is a comedy-drama film, I found the drama stronger than the comedy. But, what touched my heart, was the love.
In most of these films, something existed. Sin.
However, sin is part of life. Especially, for non-Christians. But, even at times, for Christians... who belong to Him.
In any case, our Lord, provides for us.
Just as we read, in 1 John 2:1-2, "My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world."
Yes, Jesus Christ is our advocate with God, our Father. He is the propitiation for our sins. Also, for the sins of the whole world.
How do we know this?
Jesus came to earth, to fulfill God our Father's plan of redemption for us. So, we would have a way of being able to spend eternity with Him, in Heaven.
He died on the cross, for the sin of the world. For all, who will believe upon Him.
So, my friend, if you haven't gained salvation yet, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, then you will spend eternity in Hell... separated from God. With no chance of escape.
But, if you have gained salvation, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, then I will see you in Heaven!
Until next time...

Not?
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), from time to time, I share with you information. Today, that is what I will do.
As you're probably aware, I'm on Facebook (FB).
Even though I have some real life friends who are not friends on FB, I have made many, many friends, there. In fact, I have 4,000+ friends on FB, who live all over the world.
Some share postings with me. Today, I'm going to share some with you.
* USherald.com posted an article and video entitled, Muslims in Minn. Give ALARMING Response When Asked If They Prefer American Or Sharia Law. Here is a link, so you can check it out:
http://www.usherald.com/muslims-in-minn-give-alarming-response-when-asked-if-they-prefer-american-or-sharia-law/ .
If you read this and watched the video, you'll see for yourself that all Muslims who were interviewed, prefer Sharia Law.
* Jewsnews.co.il posted an article entitled, French Mayor: We Must Ban the Muslim Faith in France. Here is a link, so you can read it:
http://www.jewsnews.co.il/2015/08/16/french-mayor-we-must-ban-the-muslim-faith-in-france-2/ .
Hopefully, you read this article. If you did, you will see that some important people in France are speaking up, for their own protection.
* Barenakedislam.com posted an article entitled, WOO HOO! African state of Angola bans Islam and will destroy all the mosques. Check it out, here:
http://www.barenakedislam.com/2013/11/23/woo-hoo-african-state-of-angola-bans-islam-and-will-destroy-all-the-mosques/
To me, this is good news. Good news to me, meaning that there are more and more people in the world, who realize that Islam is indeed not a loving religion.
You may not agree. But, if you don't, then please prove to me that Islam is truly a religion filled with love.
After all, God is love.
Just as He told us, in His Word, the Bible, in 1 John 4:8, "He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love."
Yes, he that loveth not, does not know God, for God is love. Just as we read, in today's Bible verse.
Someone reading today's LwL entry, may feel that I am not being loving speaking about this. But, I wouldn't agree.
I am being loving. Loving my fellow Christians and other such infidels that Islam hates, and is determined to destroy.
In addition, I pray for all Muslims. I pray that God will make a way where there isn't one, for each Muslim to trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ. For this is how they will become saved.
Just like you, and I.
We all need to come to Christ and gain salvation. For, we are all born dead. And, only receive eternal life, after trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Are you saved?
If not, you will spend eternity in Hell, separated from God. With no chance of escape, or changing this.
If so, then I will be happy to one day see you, in Heaven. After all, that is where we will spend eternity.
And, forever... is a... l o n g time.
Until next time...

Hurrah!
If you've been reading Life with Lynnie (LwL) for a while, you'll know that I was unhappy that Justin Trudeau was elected as our new Prime Minister, here in Canada.
Those who were Muslims voted for him, I'm sure. After all, he promised them more Islamic rights, here in Canada.
There were others who voted for him.
Some people were probably okay people, who... in my opinion did the wrong thing. But, as I said in the past, there were others who also voted for him for a reason I thought was terrible.
Those who wanted marijuana to be legalized, I am sure voted for him.
Will those who voted for him regarding his intention to legalize weed, be happy? Probably not.
Why do I think this?
Well, msn.com posted an article entitled, Trudeau: I want to legalize weed, but they won't let me: http://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/canada/trudeau-i-want-to-legalize-weed-but-they-wont-let-me/ar-CCvT8H?ocid=spartandhp.
While some people may be upset about what that article states, I am not.
I'm happy! Hurrah!
Thank You, Lord!
After praying regularly, it seems God has answered my prayer, and probably the prayer of others, for He has helped us a bit. At least, here in Canada.
Why do I think this?
Because, in my opinion, if Justin Trudeau was a Christian, he would not have spoken the way he did, to help himself become elected. I believe that if he were truly Christian, he would not agree with either of the things he said that helped him get elected.
I believe Justin Trudeau is lost. An unbeliever.
Much like we read, in 2 Corinthians 4:3-4, "But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."
Unbelievers have blinded minds. Just as we read in today's Bible verses.
The god of this world, is not our Christian God.
The god of this world, is Satan. And, he does whatever he can to blind the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Please know that I pray for Justin Trudeau.
Just as I do for any/all unbelievers of our Lord, Jesus Christ. After all, everyone needs to trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, to be saved (Acts 16:31).
My friend, please find it in your heart to pray for any/all unbelievers. Pray that all will gain salvation, and will do work for God.
If you do pray for this, I will thank you. And, God will bless you.
Until next time...

Honour?
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), we'll be discussing a different issue regarding Islam.
Honour killings.
I-supportisrael.blogspot.co.il posted an article entitled, Her stepfather killed her for not following Islam, In Michigan United States: http://i-supportisrael.blogspot.co.il/2016/01/her-stepfather-killed-her-for-not.html?m=1%3Fm%3D0.
Hopefully, you watched the video.
Honour killings are done by Muslims. Almost, everywhere.
It's even happened here in Canada.
This is partly why Muslims want Sharia Law to be allowed in our countries.
Why? Because this makes them to be allowed to kill family members.
Would you want your child killed? Our Canadian laws would not allow this to be done, without the murderer being convicted and imprisoned.
However, Sharia Law will allow this.
Not only are children, mainly daughters, killed. Even women are killed. Usually wives.
Jewsnews.co.il posted an article entitled, This Muslim was tied to a car and dragged to her death by her husband... the reason why will leave you shocked to the core: http://www.jewsnews.co.il/2016/01/11/this-muslim-was-tied-to-a-car-and-dragged-to-her-death-by-her-husband-the-reason-why-will-leave-you-shocked-to-the-core/.
If you read the information on this article, you'll know that this wife was murdered simply because... "her crime was that his dinner was served to late by his wife and it was too cold for his liking."
Are you a wife? Would you like to be treated this way?
Would you like to be murdered?
Where is the love?
After all, are wives who are murdered by their husbands... loved?
We read about that type of love, by reading Colossians 3:19, "Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them."
Our God has told us that husbands are to love their wives and not be bitter against them.
Islam's god has not told them to do this. So, instead of loving and not being bitter, husbands can kill wives, for almost any reason. Just as you just read about.
How do Muslim husbands get away with hurting, beating, or killing their wives?
Sharia Law allows this.
My friend, no matter what country you live in, please stand up... speak up/out... about Sharia Law.
Don't allow Sharia Law to be brought into effect in your country.
Please, join me in prayer to have Sharia Law NOT allowed.
Thank you. May God bless you...
Until next time...

No Other!
Once again, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be addressing an issue. It's a dangerous issue.
What is it? Islam.
Okay. I realize some people don't believe that Islam is dangerous. Some people believe it is a religion.
Muslims claim it is a religion of peace.
It is not.
Truth is, it is an ideology. It is a way of life, that has been determined by the writings of someone Muslims believe is their god.
Even though that person is NOT God.
How do I know this?
God's Word, our Bible tells us.
And, we need to have no other god. Ever. In any way.
Just as we read, in Exodus 20:3, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me."
Hopefully, you realize that when we just read that we shalt have no other gods before me, it was part of the Ten Commandments.
We are to have NO other gods before Him.
But, Islam does.
And, claims to be a religion of peace. Even though it is not.
The only peace it offers, is to fellow Muslims. Not to us. Or, anyone else in this world.
Why? Because we who are not Islamic, are infidels... unbelievers of Islam. Non-Muslims.
And, infidels are hated. Infidels are to be converted to Islam... or, are to be murdered.
Don't believe me?
Well, check out this pic that I am sharing with you. No. I didn't create it, but someone on Facebook (FB) did. So, I'm sharing it with you.
Hopefully, you took a minute or more to read it. This info used was from the Qur'an, or Koran as some English speaking people call it.
The Qur'an/Koran is Islam's type of bible.
Anyone who is Christian realizes that the Islamic/Muslim holy books are not books of God.
Why?
Because they are not worshipping our God. Or, using our Bible.
My friend, please understand I am not hateful.
I'm not hateful of anyone. Not even Muslims.
The reason I speak up/out is because I have taken courses in the past, about understanding Islam.
Plus, I am fulfilling what God would have me do. He wants us to speak truth.
And, love others. Just as I do.
I also plant seeds for Christ, whenever I can. Even to Muslims.
After all, God did tell us to preach the gospel to all the creatures of the earth.
Hopefully, you do this, too.
If you do, you will be blessed, by God.
Until next time...

White!
Just before Christmas last year, I mentioned here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), how I sang at a Christian friend's church dinner.
I can't recall if I let you know what I sang... a capella (without music).
As a solo singer, I sang:
* I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas
* O Holy Night
* We Wish You a Merry Christmas
Thinking about what I sang, reminded me of what I had commented about, just before singing I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas.
I recall saying that it is so nice to be home on Christmas Eve... and see snowflakes falling. As I said that evening, I also mentioned that it was so beautiful to wake up on Christmas Day, and see it completely white, outside... as long as the snow melted and disappeared by lunchtime! :)
Why am I mentioning this?
I'm letting you know, because when I awoke yesterday, I saw it was snowing, outside. Yes, it was white, outside!
Unfortunately, I arrived at our worship service a few minutes late. However, I am happy that our service begins with a lot of music.
This meant I arrived in time for everything we do, during our worship service. Praise God! Hallelujah!
We worshipped in spirit, in truth! Just as we always do.
For this, I am thankful.
After all, we were doing what God's Word, the Bible tells us in John 4:23, "But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him."
Yes, our Heavenly Father seeks us to worship Him in spirit and in truth.
Those of us who do this, are considered true worshippers.
Do you do this?
Not everyone does. Some people think it is okay to not go and gather with brothers and sisters in the Lord.
As for me, I am grateful to fulfill God's desire of what I should do.
For doing this, I know He blesses me.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...

Springing Up!
I'm letting you know here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), that today is another day when we all should worship. After all, it is SONday!
As I'm sure you are aware, I enjoy worshipping with music.
I recalled singing a hymn in the past, by Bill and Gloria Gaither entitled, I Will Serve Thee. Here is a link for you to listen and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4o1Pq3U2QP0. The lyrics are below.
I Will Serve Thee
I will serve Thee because I love Thee
You have given life to me.
I was nothing before you found me
You have given life to me.
Heartaches, broken pieces,
Ruined lives are why you died on Calvary.
Your touch was what I longed for,
You have given life to me.
I will serve Thee because I love Thee
You have given life to me.
I was nothing before you found me
You have given life to me.
At the end of the YouTube music link, a Bible verse was quoted. So, I decided to use it, here on LwL.
After all, it speaks about everlasting life!
It's John 4:14, "But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life."
Everlasting life, is so very important.
After all, if we do not obtain everlasting life, we will spend eternity in Hell, separated from God. With no chance of changing things. No escape.
Now, if you're like me... a born-again Christian, you'll know how you obtained everlasting life. It's by being saved.
However, if you're NOT a born-again Christian, you need to know how to obtain everlasting life.
Trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ and you shall be saved (Acts 16:31). By doing this, you will receive everlasting life!
My friend, if you need to gain salvation and everlasting life, then please come to Christ, today.
Tomorrow, may be too late.
Until next time...

Take Heed...
Every now and then, I discuss things I do, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL). I'll be doing that, today!
Like I've said in the past, I watch movies. And, truly enjoy seeing some over and over, again!
Here's a few I've recently watched:
* The Spy Who Came in from the Cold, starring Richard Burton, Claire Bloom and Oskar Werner. Here's a link to this Cold War spy film: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Spy_Who_Came_in_from_the_Cold_(film). Even though the ending of this movie was upsetting, I must admit... I enjoyed it.
* Rhinestone, starring Sylvester Stallone, Dolly Parton, and other actors. To check it out, click here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhinestone_(film). Although this is considered to be a musical comedy film, I didn't find it to be funny. Even so, I enjoyed it.
* The Rose, starring Bette Midler, Alan Bates, and more actors. Click here, to check it out: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Rose_(film). Although there was some great music in this movie, it was truly a drama film. Fairly sad, to me.
* The Presidio, starring Sean Connery, Mark Harmon, Meg Ryan and Jack Warden. Want to check it out; click here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Presidio_(film). This American crime drama film, I have actually seen more than once. Even though parts of the movie are sad and filled with sin, there are some parts I enjoyed.
* Presumed Innocent, starring Harrison Ford, Brian Dennehy, Greta Scacchi and other actors. Here's a link for you to check it out: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Presumed_Innocent_(film). This legal drama film was very interesting. And, the ending was shocking.
Knowing that each of these movies contain drama in different ways, reminded me how nerve-wracking life can be.
I also thought about how hurt we can be.
Thinking of this, brought to mind, Galatians 5:15, "But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another."
If we bite and devour one another, we should not be consumed one of another.
Instead of hating and hurting, we need to show love.
Loving others, isn't always easy. Especially, if we're hurt by them.
But, it is something God wants us to do.
I thank Him, for always providing for us. And, for the Holy Spirit, who guides us.
At least, this happens for those who are born-again believers.
I am.
Are you?
Are you trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ? If so, then you are saved. You're a born-again believer.
For this, you'll always be thankful. Of this, I'm sure!
For you'll receive everlasting life! Thank You, Lord!

Tick-tock...
Every now and then, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I share e-mail I've received. That is what I am doing, today.
Near Christmas, in December, I received an e-mail from the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), again. Just so you know, I receive them, fairly often.
Here's what the e-mail said (I copied and pasted it):
Lynn,
She was the only Christian woman in her town, and now she faces execution in Pakistan for her faith.
Why? Because she's a Christian who offered a cup of water to a Muslim woman at work.
Now this mother of five faces the death penalty unless the Supreme Court of Pakistan reverses her unjust blasphemy conviction.
This is her final appeal. This is her last hope.
She will be hung for her Christian faith unless we speak out.
At the ACLJ, we're aggressively advocating around the world for Asia Bibi's freedom as the highest court in Pakistan hears her appeal.
We've mobilized our global offices in Europe and Pakistan, which have successfully fought against these blasphemy laws for years. Now, we're fighting to reunite Asia Bibi with her husband and children. She desperately needs your voice.
Take action with us for this persecuted Christian woman's freedom.
Sign Our Urgent Petition: Save Asia Bibi from Execution.
Jordan Sekulow
When I received this e-mail, I had already written blog entries up to and including Christmas and New Year's. But, now... I'm sharing this with you.
Why? Because our sister in the Lord, truly needs you to help her.
Asia Bibi has been imprisoned by Muslims for so long, now. And, her time of imprisonment is coming to an end.
She needs to be released, for all she did was offer a cup of water to a Muslim woman, at work.
She basically knew of that Islamic woman's burden of being thirsty. And, tried to help the Muslim woman... by being kind and loving to her.
Thinking about how Asia Bibi was truly doing what God told us to do, brought to mind Galatians 6:2, "Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ."
Even though she had a good heart, and tried to help the Muslim woman, she is being persecuted for her faith... because, she's Christian. A Christian, who did her best to fulfill the law of Christ... of loving others.
If she is not released, she will be hung. Her life will end, here on earth.
Knowing she's a sister in the Lord, I know that if she is murdered, she will be alive, in Heaven. And, will spend eternity with God, because she is trusts in/believes upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.
For this, I am thankful. And, always will be.
But, I know she has family and friends, who would like her released. Especially, since she had never broken laws or hurt anyone.
So, my friend... please do what you can to help. And, pray.
Thank you. May God bless you...
Until next time...

Merry Christmas, Again!
On today's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, I want to say that if my dad was still alive, today would be his birthday. I wish I could wish him Happy Birthday!... but, there's no reason to do this. Sigh...
Aside from being my dad's birthday, today is a special day for some people. Like for those people, from where part of my dad's heritage, is from.
In Ukraine, Romania, and other countries, people didn't celebrate Christmas on December 25th. Just as we do, here in North America and elsewhere.
Orthodox Christians celebrate Christmas on January 7th. Of course, I have friends in Eastern Europe, who are Baptist, yet celebrate today, just like Orthodox Christians.
So, I'd like to wish people I know who celebrate our Lord's birth today... Merry Christmas!

Isaiah 9:6, "For unto us a child is born,
unto us a son is given:
and the government shall be upon his shoulder:
and his name shall be called Wonderful,
Counsellor,
The mighty God,
The everlasting Father,
The Prince of Peace."
Yes, just as we read in today's Old Testament Bible verse, Our Saviour was truly born.
If you'd like to read about Him, you'll be able to read it, in the New Testament portion of our Bible. In, any of the gospels... Matthew, Mark, Luke and/or John.
Yet, I have been approached by several people, who don't agree with things I believe in.
Some don't agree about Jesus' name. Even though He has been called many, many, many names.
Some don't believe anyone should celebrate His birth.
But, I believe we should celebrate Jesus' birth.
After all, even if you don't agree with His name, or even if you don't believe He was truly born on December 25th (which I don't), I believe we need to celebrate the fact that our Lord, Jesus Christ came to earth, to fulfill God the Father's plan of redemption.
If Jesus hadn't done this... then, we would not have a way to be saved. We would not be trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, to gain salvation.
Without salvation, we would not have eternal life. We would spend eternity in Hell, separated from God, and unable to change it.
So, my friend, I will speak up, and wish my family and friends who live in countries where Christmas is celebrated today, Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas!
Until next time...

Off!
If you read yesterday's Life with Lynnie (LwL), you'll know that I slept really well, Sunday night!
For this, I praise God! Hallelujah!
As I said yesterday, I didn't have to set my alarm to be woken up Monday morning.
When I awoke, I thought to myself, that I needed to get moving! But, then my phone rang, and I didn't really get moving.
In fact, after having several phone calls, I thought about what I had planned to do for the day. And, realized that I didn't truly need to do it.
Well, I do need to get some paperwork done. And, some bookkeeping.
But, I didn't really need to get it done that day!
So, I thanked God for letting me realize this. And, decided to just take the day... off!
Why?
Because, even though I had slept in... and even though I woke up feeling I needed to do something, I felt tired. Worn out. Needing rest.
While thinking about how I was feeling, a Bible verse came to mind. It was Matthew 11:28, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
You probably aren't aware, but I have truly been heavy laden with things to do, within several weeks before Christmas.
I prayed for Him to help me do all that I needed to do. And, He did. He helped me get everything done that I needed to do.
And, gave me the strength to get through it all!
Yes, I've quoted that verse in the past.
And, probably will again at some point, in the future.
But, as I said, I truly felt like I needed rest.
So, instead of doing any work, I decided to just read my Bible.
Then, later I made and received some phone calls. And, I sort of took the day... off.
I rested...
For this, I am truly thankful. God provided for me!
He also lifted me up, and encouraged me.
All through this time of rest!
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...
