Turn...

As I mentioned yesterday, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) I went to worship with my church family.

In addition, my granddaughter A joined me.  Although I must say that I didn't pick her up.

Instead, her mom... my daughter, B brought A and joined me in our worship service.

For this, I praise God!

Does this sound different to you?  It was to me.

I must admit, having B with me, made me happy.  Yet, sad also.

You see, B's health isn't good at this time, as you probably read, recently.

However, in addition, it seems her life is falling apart.  At least, in some ways.

Knowing that my daughter is truly suffering, makes my heart break.

After all, I love her.  Just as you probably are aware.

At the same time, I believe that God is using all the troubles/trials she is experiencing, to draw her back to Him.

For this, I am happy.  And, am trusting God to do, for B.

You see, B has experienced troubles/trials in life.

Just as I have.  And, how you probably have.

And, much like my mom did, also.  But, my mom turned away from God during her trials/troubles in life... and did not place God first and foremost in her life.

Whenever I spoke with my mom, she would tell me to not speak about God.

I believe it never helped my mom to be like this.

Why?

Because she didn't turn to our Lord, at all.

Thinking of this, brought to mind Zechariah 1:3, "Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts."

Hopefully, my daughter, B is doing what our Lord said to do.  Hopefully, she is turning back to Him.

Please, join me in prayer, my friend.  And, understand that I also pray for you, and your family.

Thank you.

Please know that I praise God for all He does for me and my family.  And, for you and yours.

May God bless you.

Until next time...
