Hopefully, you read yesterday's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry.

If you did, you'll know that my granddaughter, A played her part in the Christmas musical play.  As I mentioned yesterday, A was an angel.

After our worship service, she wasn't taken home.  Instead, A joined me and our church family for our pot-luck luncheon.

Now, please understand, it wasn't just A who joined me.  It was most of her family, who are my family, who joined us!

Thank You, Lord!

Not just because the food was delicious, as it normally is.  But, also because of family members joining us!

There were so many of us, that we actually totally filled a table.  I feel badly that I didn't think to get a pic of everyone at the table, until it was too late to do it.

However, my daughter B had taken a few pics.  None had everyone in it.  But, she had a photo of her, A and A's brother, J!
I adore the lovely smiles of J, B and A!

Ahh... to be honest, my heart was so very happy!  There were moments when I felt like tears of joy were filling me.

Thinking of the joy I was feeling, reminded me of Psalm 16:8-9, "I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope."

Just as we read in today's Bible verses, I must admit that I have set the Lord always before me.  He is at my right hand, and I shall not be moved.

But, in addition, my heart is therefore glad, and my glory rejoiceth... and my flesh also shall rest in hope.

In my heart, I hope that anyone/everyone I know will come to know Christ, and gain salvation.

How does anyone gain salvation?

Trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved (Acts 16:31).

For this, I praise God!  Hallelujah!

Until next time...
