Everyone?

Once again, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be letting you know that I'll be worshipping God, today.

After all, it is SONday!

It's time for those of us who love God, to worship Him... in Spirit and in Truth.  And, also through music.

Here is a hymn that we recently sang during a worship service:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBr8E76H90Y.  It's by Ralph E. Hudson and is entitled, I'll Live For Him.  The lyrics are below.

I'll Live For Him

My life, my love I give to Thee,
Thou Lamb of God Who died for me;
O may I ever faithful be,
My Savior and my God!

I’ll live for Him Who died for me,
How happy then my life shall be!
I’ll live for Him Who died for me,
My Savior and my God!

I now believe Thou dost receive,
For Thou hast died that I might live;
And now henceforth I trust in Thee,
My Savior and my God!

I’ll live for Him Who died for me,
How happy then my life shall be!
I’ll live for Him Who died for me,
My Savior and my God!

O Thou Who died on Calvary,
To save my soul and make me free,
I’ll consecrate my life to Thee,
My Savior and my God!

I’ll live for Him Who died for me,
How happy then my life shall be!
I’ll live for Him Who died for me,
My Savior and my God!

Just as we read in the lyrics, it's important to live for Him... who died for me.  And, for anyone who is truly committed to Christ, who has gained salvation and done what God would have them do.

You see, there are some people raised who consider themselves to be Christian, mainly because they were raised in a family who worshipped at a church they consider to be Christian.

But, the fact is... many have truly not gained salvation, because they do not accept the fact that they need to be born-again.  Much like some of my relatives.

Some people think that everyone will enter the kingdom of Heaven.  But, this truly is not the case.

Just as we read, in Matthew 7:21-23, "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

Is this what you want to experience?  Is this what you want family and/or friends to experience?

Hopefully, not.

For those who have to get away from Jesus, will spend eternity in Hell.  And, NOT in Heaven.

And, just as God's Word, the Bible teaches us... there is no escape.  There is no way to change what the result will be.

So, my friend... come to Christ, today.  And, do what God would have you do.

By doing this, you will truly be blessed.  Forever.

Until next time...
