Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I had hoped to let you know something more about last Sunday, but wasn't able to. Especially, since Christmas Eve and Christmas Day was being celebrated!
What I am referring to involves my daughter, P. And, her boyfriend, K.
I truly thank them for helping me do what I physically wasn't able to do.
When I left my church family, I planned to head home to do some work. I texted P, just as I told her I would do.
At the time, I felt totally exhausted. You see, I had only about two (2) hours sleep Saturday night.
If P and K weren't planning to come to my apartment, I would have taken a 40-wink nap!
P's response to me, was that instead of them immediately leaving home to come to where I live, they were going to wait about an hour. Oh, my goodness!
Hearing that absolutely touched my heart. Not just because I was happy at the thought of having a nap.
I was happy, because I realized that since God knew I needed some rest, He provided for me! Even though I hadn't asked him to do this!
Thinking of this, brought to mind Matthew 6:8, "Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him."
Yes, I do believe God knew exactly what I was in need of.
Of course, I had a short nap, before P and K arrived. But, was truly happy to see them.
They helped me do some physical re-organization of things I wanted to do, at home. In addition, we sorted through some things that I felt needed to go to P, my daughter B, and my deceased husband Gordon's son, K.
Thank you, P and K, for helping me! I truly am thankful for what you did for me.
Praise God! Hallelujah!
May God will bless you, for what you did, for me.
My friend, I pray that you look to God, for everything in your life.
If you do, I know you will be blessed.
Until next time...
