If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday, you'll know that I intended to worship with my church family. Well, just so you know... I did!
In addition to worshipping, as we normally do, something else happened. We watched a video filled with many, many photos.
The pics were of anyone/everyone who participated in things that went on over the whole year of 2015.
Along with photos of other people, there were photos of me. And, of my granddaughter, A.
Unfortunately, she wasn't there to see this. :(
On my way home, I stopped and did a small bit of shopping. Well, it was a small bit, even though it was at two (2) stores.
While going up in the elevator with a couple of people who live in the same building as me, a fellow spoke about how he just arrived home, after driving quite a distance.
The other lady and I both felt badly for him. We both suggested that he chill out and have a nap.
He agreed, he would.
Just as I exited the elevator, I commented that I'm hoping/thinking about going to Arizona, USA. He laughed.
Then, he commented that he'd like to be in the trunk of my vehicle! I must admit, his remark made me laugh! lol :D
Once I sorted out and placed away the items I brought home with me, I did exactly what I had suggested to that fellow.
I went and laid down. In bed.
I had a 40+ wink nap!! Ahhh.... :) :D
Resting, was such a blessing to me!
Much like we read, in Proverbs 3:24, "When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet."
Just as we read in today's Bible verse, when I laid down, I was not afraid. My sleep was sweet.
In fact, I felt absolutely wonderful, when I later awoke!
For this, I am truly grateful!
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...
